Vermette’s for all your shopping needs.
Would I do my weekly shopping at Vermette’s over Stop and Shop? No.
Would I use Vermette’s to pick stuff up throughout the week, grab a 6-​pack or a bag of chips while on the run? Absolutely.
Their deli/​butcher shop is pretty good and has great prices.

Amesbury, MA
Vermette’s is a great lil’ grocery store! A paired down and slightly townie version of a conventional grocery store, but featuring a very nice beer and wine selection — something you just won’t elsewhere round these parts. I hear they have excellent meat. This is a better option for grabbing a few things on the way home than Stop n’ Shop, Amesbury’s ‘other’ grocery store.
