Love the bang bang shrimp tacos and the tilapia with the lemon butter. I’ve never had a bad meal here and the wait staff is very nice. I’d definitely eat here again.

New to the area, I wandered around the mall looking for a food court but ended up at Bonefish thanks to its proximity and high Unilocal reviews. The restaurant was empty at lunch, and the staff seemed surprised that there was a customer at the front, but I was quickly seated. It’s a nice, moderately upscale interior, looking more like a dinner place rather than a family restaurant that serves lunch as well. The menu had an extensive and expensive seafood focus, so since I was just there for lunch, I chose the fish and chips, and a cup of chowder. Chowder was very good — hot corn chowder with big chunks of crab. Fish and Chips — very greasy with a thick batter — not at all the«tempura style» menu description. Still, the portions were good, but I left the fries as they were soaked in grease under the piping hot fish portions. I’ll chalk this up to being the first guest of the day — maybe the kitchen wasn’t ready to batter and fry things yet. Including the chowder and a cup of coffee, my total was $ 19.00. Service was attentive. I’d come back to try a non-fried dish.

I usually don’t go to chain restaurants but this is my one exception! Eat here at least every 2 months and am working my way down the menu! Have not had one bad meal ever! Don’t miss happy hour! If you are into crab, try the soft shell crab stuffed with crab-meat but only for a limited time-check specials on website. Bang bang shrimp is crunchy, spicy and gooey as appetizer. Ahi tuna done to perfection either as bowl or dinner. My husbands favorite is Parmesan crusted trout. Even if you don’t like fish, there is something for everyone!

My personal Buffalo favourite. I think of this as my personal hidden gem that I don’t want to share with my Canadian compatriots. I think everything looks great and tastes great. My favourite is the fish and chips. But I don’t think you can go wrong here. Generally it’s not too busy here, but around keys dates, best to make reservations.

The Bonefish Grill is consistently a place I go when I need a good meal. I always get the same thing; I’m sorry but it’s true… The corn chowder with lump crab meat begins the night for me like a comforting friend. So creamy, a touch sweet and full of crab, just the way I like it. Their bread and olive oil with herbs is served fresh baked… I couldn’t fit in the Bang Bang Shrimp this time but it’s spicy and crunchy and delicious. Sometimes, I get take out of this, but I digress. My main course is always Pecan Parmesan Crusted Trout. Simply to die for… melt in your mouth! This time I had broccoli and coleslaw on the side, although I really could not eat much of them because the fish was absolutely the star. I was so full, I never made it to dessert. My date decided on a scallop/shrimp dish; he had never been to Bonefish before… I could tell he was surprised at how good it was. He ate every morsel.(I’m sure I could have tried some if I could have stopped eating mine long enough!) We walked it off in Delaware Park around the Lake!

I’m not keen on the chicken of the sea but I was feeling adventurous this evening, though my wallet didn’t appreciate the abuse, I’m glad I finally went to Bonefish. The waiter was very attentive, but I wish he would stop up selling me on everything, I’m asking for advice, not for ways to spend more money that I don’t have. Regardless, I ordered the haddock with mango salsa and lemon butter with a couple of sides, the boyfriend got the sirloin with crab cakes and what seemed to be a 1000 Island dressing with a kick. I gotta say, the coleslaw was my favorite part of the meal, is that bad? It had an Asian, ginger, delicious flavor that I could not get enough of. The fish was enjoyable, but I probably could have had the fish fry and been just as happy. Steak was perfectly cooked and the crab cakes were delicious and textured but also melted in your mouth.

Lovin’ Spoonful(AKA Norb has opinions on everything Restaurant Division) Bonefish Grill: 1247 Niagara Falls Blvd, Amherst, NY. 716−833−6106. Mon-Thu: 4:00PM-10:30PM Fri: 4:00PM-11:30PM Sat: 11:00AM-11:30PM Sun: 10:00AM-9:00PM The dear wife and I received a gift card from some very good friends for Christmas and with the weather in the 50’s, we decided to take the trip to Bonefish on Sunday. Seeing as it is in a mall there was parking lot parking with handicapped spaces right near the door. You enter the place via a revolving door and as I thought about it this is probably very energy efficient. You don’t have to hold a door open to enter. The place was fairly empty and I don’t know if it was because of the time we arrived(6:00PM) or if the just aren’t busy on Sundays. Either way we were seated immediately in a booth. I prefer a booth when dining it seems to make it more intimate. Our server, Molly, came over, introduced herself and took our drink order. Molly had the type of personality I can only describe as bubbly. When she returned my wife asked about the size of the mussel appetizer. She assured us it was very large so Donna decided to get this as her meal for $ 11.30. I keep hearing about fish tacos and they had these on the menu so I thought I’d try them. I have never had these before and I was feeling a bit adventurous. I got three tacos and crab fried rice for $ 17.60. I had a coke for $ 2.99 but this was bottomless and I got a free refill. Donna had water and Molly brought a small, chilled milk bottle of water to the table. Donna liked the fact that there was no ice in the water because sometimes ice gives water a funny flavor. The water was cold for the entire meal. Donna had the best meal of the two of us this time. Shellfish can be tricky. It has to be fresh and it is easy to under or overcook. They can get rubbery like gummy bears if they are old or done wrong. Not this time. Kudos to the kitchen staff. The mussels were like butter. They melted in your mouth. Easily the best mussels we have ever had. The fish tacos were ok and I’m glad I tried them but I don’t think I will ever be a fan of fish tacos. Next time, I’m getting the mussels. The entire bill came to $ 34.68 before I deducted the gift card. The staff will know who I was by the fact I gave the two people at the hostess station a high five on my way out. Great job by all the staff that made this an extremely enjoyable experience. We will be back. I give them a 9.5 out of 10.

I came here for their endless bubbles brunch($ 20) and really enjoyed it. You get your choice of entrée plus mimosas, bellinis, or sangria. I tried all the drink options and have to say the sangria was my favorite. For my entrée I got the crème brûlée French toast, it was really good. The portion size was not very big but it was delicious. The server didn’t come around too often to bring over more drinks — it definitely took a while to get refills on the endless bubbles. However I didn’t feel like we were rushed to leave once we finished our meals, I think they’re definitely used to people staying to have a couple more drinks.

I was surprised at how nice the interior of this restaurant was. Stopped in for a glass of wine after work before heading to the mall to do some shopping. The restaurant was fairly busy around 5pm on a Tuesday. According to Unilocal,Bonefish does a $ 15 special on Tuesdays for a three course meal including a starter salad, an entrée and a dessert. Depending on which entrée you would like, you may be paying a little bit more. The bartender was nice and handed me a small bar menu but didn’t mention the three course special so we were not sure if it was available at the bar or even available at all. I was impressed with the drink menu as a whole and with the wine menu especially. They offered many different wines by the glass and the prices per glass averaged around $ 10 which I thought was a bit pricy. They had some glasses for $ 9, but a lot were in the $ 11-$ 14 range. Their martini list looked very appealing too and those cocktails were about $ 8 and change. The bar is very nice with televisions and there are tables near the bar too. I like their waiting area, it had a comfy looking couch and it was very inviting. I would never have thought to come here for food but after glancing over the menu there were many things I would like to try. The servers wear chef coats which I thought was really odd, since they’re servers, not chefs. Nevertheless the environment was cool and I will update the review once I come in for a meal.

I really love Bonefish Grill despite the fact that it is a chain restaurant. I’ve been here a handful of times but only two have been for dinner, the rest of the times were just to sit at the bar and enjoy some drinks. Both times that I’ve eaten, the food has been excellent. The first time I started with the corn chowder and lump crab soup. It was rich and decadent and had plenty of crab meat. It was so yummy! For my entrée I had a steak with shrimp on the side. The steak was flavorful and cooked perfectly to my liking. This most recent time, I started out with the steamed edamame appetizer. It comes with a green tea sea salt mixture for dipping, which is different, but really good. I was then debating between a few options for my entrée. Our waitress talked me in to trying the trout so I ended up getting that with a sundried tomato and lime sauce on top. It came with two sides so I chose jasmine rice and French green beans. I was skeptical about the rainbow trout because I had never tried it before but it ended up being delicious and I loved it! It was flakey and the skin was seasoned perfectly. The sundried tomato and lime sauce on top added another dimension of flavor. Even the jasmine rice(which can be pretty bland) and green beans were seasoned and so flavorful. My mom and I split the crème brulee for dessert which I neglected to take a picture of. But it was smooth and creamy and the top wasn’t too burnt. I really hate when that happens. Our waitress this most recent time(I do not know her name which I’m sad about because she deserves recognition) was spectacular. We were a huge pain in the butt… we had a million questions and took forever to order. However she was very polite about it, gave us all the time that we needed, answered all of our questions, and was so personable and friendly. To our surprise, it turns out that she was still in TRAINING! You would have never known because she was amazing. Her service alone deserves five stars! I would really recommend coming to Bonefish Grill for brunch(which I’ve never had but heard great things), dinner, or even just drinks. Although there is a lot of seafood on the menu, there is something for everyone!

This review is for their brunch. I’m typically a regular on Sunday’s but haven’t been here in a few months. I normally sit at the bar where the same bartender normally works every Sunday and she’s great! She’s very conversational and keeps up wth my refills(best part about sitting at the bar when it’s unlimited drinks) The brunch deal is great, it’s 19.99 for unlimited mimosas, peach bellinis or sangria… all taste amazing. This price also includes your meal. The food menu for bunch offers plenty of options. Multiple options for egg Benedict, omelets, French toast and even a Kobe beef burger. My personal favorite is the surf and turf eggs Benedict! The lobster is FRESH and the steak is so tender, I order it with the spicy hollandaise sauce that comes with the bang bang Benedict. I have also had the French toast and Kobe burger, both also very good. My friends have had the omelets as well and they enjoyed those. Regardless of what you order you will enjoy it I promise. We do normally stay and watch the bills games here too and just drink all day.

Is it a chain? Yes. But a good one. It was busy but we got seated quickly. The server was very nice and attentive. Drinks came out quickly and she had good suggestions for wine. I really enjoyed my tacos. Totally worth it to get the Mac and cheese! One lady was nice enough to bring us a to go box and she wasn’t our server. If I’m by the mall again, I’d stop by. Good service and clean!

Off night I guess. Ordered cosmo cocktail, sour, n a s t y. Ordered ceasar salad, bland, bland, bland. Could have been any type of salad! Ordered the sword fish… mushy; one of the worst I have ever had. Been to this location once before and everything was very good & my dining partners enjoyed their meal this time. Only redeeming factor was a dirty martini and good service. Too many other places in the Buffalo area to drop my $, I’ll pass on this one.

I enjoy the atmosphere at this place. It’s a chain, but some what upscale. The bang bang shrimp are amazing. They are must try. The bread with pesto is also delicious. I had the salmon with jasmine rice and seasonal veggie(spaghetti squash on this occasion). Unfortunately the salmon isn’t wild-caught, but it was decent enough. What I didn’t like was the small portion of rice that came with the meal. The plate just looked empty(and of course, I could’ve used more rice). The service is top-notch. The manager came over twice during our meal to ask how things were, plates were always cleared quickly, the glasses were never empty, pacing was perfect.

Although I normally stay away from chain restaurants, Bonefish is definitely a step above the typical chain-fare. I have dined at the chain in Florida and a couple times at this location, but that was several years ago. Last night, my friend Sean and I decided to try Bonefish since he had been there several times, at a different location, and I had enjoyed it last time I was there. We arrived at 6pm and entered a very busy restaurant. We were greeted warmly at the host station and quoted a 15 – 20 wait time. There wasn’t much room to wait inside, but there were two benches and plenty of standing room outside. After being seated, we were greeted by the server right away. She explained the specials and drinks as well as offering her opinion on some of her favorites. I ordered the Fall Apple martini and my friend ordered the Modern Mojito. The drinks arrived to the table pretty quickly. The apple martini was crisp and had the exact amount of warm fall spices – it was was not the typical neon green, overly sweet martini that many other chains serve. Moments after the drinks arrived, warm bread accompanied with herbed oil to dip was brought to the table. It was perfect to snack on with the drinks. We did order the bang-bang shrimp appetizer to share, which did quite a while to come out. The appetizer was delicious and the server did offer apologies for the wait when she brought it to the table. Shrimp was nicely cooked with a salt and pepper batter and a creamy spiced sauce. About a half hour after the appetizer arrived, our dinners came out. The kitchen seemed a bit behind since we overheard other servers apologizing for the longer than expected wait time on food. I order Lily’s Chicken with garlic whipped potatoes as my side. The chicken wasn’t dry and had plenty of spinach, goat cheese and artichoke hearts on top. The potatoes were very creamy and not overly garlicky. The server was very attentive and filled drinks, checked on us frequently enough so the total wait time did not feel as long as it was. The restaurant atmosphere is casual, but could be the location of a celebratory get together or just friends getting together for drinks and appetizers. Booths line the outside walls with tables in the middle of the floor. The booths are very comfortable and allow for private dinner conversation to remain private. Rating is not a 5 for noise level coming from kitchen and length of wait time for each food item.

As far as chains go, this is one of your better options. That said, it’s still a chain. And while food is obviously delicious when soaked in butter or oil, your stomach will not be happy with you later in the evening. Other than the excessive seasoning(butter, oil), my salmon was cooked to perfection and was unbelievably good. I could definitely taste the wood-fire. We ate at the bar and the bartender was fantastic. It was her first shift on the bar alone and she handled it like a pro. She was swamped but never once appeared flustered and did an impressive job multitasking.

Came here for bang bang shrimp which is all day on Wednesday. It also happened to be HH which runs 4:30 — 6:30 M-F. Arrived around 5 and it was not very packed, we were able to get a seat at the bar with no issues. Service was prompt, our bartender was a tall blonde guy whose name escapes me(Justin?). He was really on point throughout the night. We ordered HH wells, which a pretty much top shelf in compared to your typically bar wells. They offered absolute, maker’s mark etc. The drinks were nice and potent(thank you justin) and only had to purchase one drink to sip on throughout our time! Of course we ordered the bang bang shrimp which we are very familiar with since we use to always attend this event in Birmingham, AL. However, there was a huge difference between the Bham bonefish and Buffalo,

+ good food presentation, friendly staff — some pricey lunch menu items, slow food service Went here yesterday for lunch at around 2:00pm. The place was quiet with just a few tables occupied. We were promptly seated and the dining room was nice, though a lot smaller than other Bonefish locations I have been at. It was clean with a modern décor. Our server greeted us within 5 minutes and advised us of the soup and fish of the day. We took a look at the lunch menu and were surprised there were only 5 entrée items, priced in the range of $ 12 to $ 20. That selection is too limited with some items being a little to steep in price for lunch. There were about 8 hand held items, and we asked about the fish and chips(not sure how why that is under«hand held») and were shocked that it was made with the cheapest fish, Alaskan Pollock. After some thought, we went with the Crispy Street Tacos, and the Half Pound Kobe Beef +Egg Burger. We had to wait quite awhile for our lunch items to arrive, which was strange, as there were only a few of us in the restaurant. Sitting there waiting for 30 minutes we were getting hungrier and hungrier. Unfortunately, they do not provide the fresh bread and olive oil that comes when you order during dinner. That reason alone will not having me come back for lunch! At any rate, after 45 minutes we asked our server about the bread and he kindly made an exception and brought some out. When our lunch items arrived, they were presented well(see pics). The tacos contained filet mignon and were very good, but a little light on contents. The ½ pound Kobe burger was dressed nicely and tasted pretty good. The burger came with coleslaw which has a very strong taste of cilantro, that really turned me off. The tacos came with couscous which tasted pretty plain. The price of the tacos were $ 10.10, and the burger was $ 13.50, which I felt was a little overpriced for what you received. Perhaps you’re paying more for the service and décor. The waiter was friendly and the restaurant manager even stopped by to ask how things were, which was a nice touch. Maybe this place is better suited for dinner, not lunch. A good date-night option if you are looking for something that looks nice inside, however it is attached to a shopping plaza, which makes it not as attractive in my book.

I love seafood and I’ve always had a good experience at Bonefish so when we got a giftcard for Christmas, I was happy. My husband and I decided to go to brunch. My husband got a white cranberry martini. It came with an eyelash. I was disgusted but my husband plucked it out and drank it anyway. I ordered«bottomless» mimosas. They were $ 12 for bottomless or $ 6 for 1. I figured I needed to drink 3 to get a deal but the waitress was so slow bringing the drinks and she forgot my 3rd one so I only had 2. I got the bang bang shrimp eggs benedict. It was pretty gross. The hollandaise was like hollandaise mixed with Chinese duck sauce. The english muffin was rock hard. My husband ate an ahi tuna appetizer. It was served on a bed of browning, old iceberg lettuce. He had the bang bang shrimp tacos. They tasted okay but he found a long hair wrapped around a shrimp in his last taco. The waitress comped the tacos but it was still disgusting. In short, the food was not fresh and it was filled with hair. I’ll never go back.

This place is located at the boulevard mall, it is not a stand alone restaurant… when I got inside I found the décor to be a bit similar to Cheesecake Factory but a much smaller place… a great atmosphere to take your date… I found the menu to be a bit scarce with not enough seafood items… our waitress was very attentive as she described every item on the menu We ended up ordered the scallops & shrimp and the ahi tuna steak with herbed couscous and pumpkin ravioli as sides, the ravioli was an extra $ 3 and you ONLY get 3 raviolis… it was good but really a dollar a piece… The food was average overall, didn’t really meet my expectations of a great seafood place… I would honestly prefer going to Joe’s Crab Shack but hey this is a fancier place
