Let’s talk about this winery. I will preface this by saying that I have been to dozens of wineries in northern Virginia, so perhaps my standards are a little high… The wine is decent, and the tasting room is cute. I ordered the cheese and fruit tray, and the grapes were well on their way to becoming raisins. The cheese appeared to be Craft Singles cut into fourths. Awesome. And then there was the cat problem. I was sitting outside with a friend, and cats were scampering all around us. I like cats, but seeing their food and feces(yes, feces) scattered all over the walkway was disgusting. My friend and I laughed about our experience, but in all seriousness, I won’t go back there again.

Today the posted hours stated that they would be open. They are closed! No wine for me is definitely a 1-star experience.

I went to this winery the first time this past weekend. My wife loves Sangria, so we went for their Sangria Saturday. They seem to do this the 1st&3rd Saturday of each month. The Sangria was the best we have had from a winery! The cool thing was the were having an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids too, so we were able to occupy the kids and have some family quality time. Their tasting list wines were very nice and well balanced too. We bought a case of wines, picking 2 of each six we liked. They told us they host The Virginia Summer Solstice Wine Festival the 3rd weekend of June, which we will definitely be back for. The musician playing was very appealing too.
