I had an emergency situation where I tried moving my couch into my new apartment and could not get the couch in the apartment after 2.5 hours of trying. I had nowhere else to put it, so I called Public Storage. They told me they were open until 5, and as long as I made it there by 5 I could get a unit that day. At 415 I got a call from them saying they only took rentals until 430 and that if I didn’t get there by 430 I had to come back the next day. I let the representative know I was originally told I could get a unit if I was there by 5 and was in a panic, but her only response was that she couldn’t help me past 430.
I then called back and asked for a manager, telling him my situation. He was very helpful and gave me a little extra time to get there, allowing me to safely store my couch and not have to panic about where I could put it.

I’ve had a storage locker here since September of 2014, and I have so far been entirely satisfied with my experience. Staff was very helpful during initial setup, and I’ve never had any problems getting into my locker. The snow has been cleared during the winter, and the other people with storage units have always been helpful to me.
The prices are decent, and my only quibble is that the payment reminder isn’t really sent at the right time of the month, so the first time I needed to pay, I ended up being late.

What a wonderful experience. Jeremy was amazing and helped me pick the right unit as well as get the best possible price even if it was at another location. I needed a storage unit on very short notice and was able to sign a contract and get keys to my unit immediately. Great experience, but more amazing was the customer service Jeremy provided!
