Don’t expect real croissants. They’re bread. With filling. Not a drop of butter in their dough. And over the years, the filling has diminished to the point, the«croissant» is empty with one or two little pieces of almond glued to the top crust. I’m sitting here looking at one now. My husband bought a half-dozen home this morning. He was melancholy, reminiscing about real croissants we used to enjoy — when we lived in Utah — made by an authentic French chef. Oh, wait…“Dutch Epicure”. I guess the Dutch make their croissants out from bread… And please don’t recommend Triola in Bedford. Same old, same old bread, bread, bread. This may be «great» for cakes, but even the pastries here are nothing but blah, boring sugar — no other real flavor. It would be interested if the super-old reviews on here were updated.

Outstanding, first rate! I just had an all butter, chocolate(think devils food) cupcake with classic mocha buttercream. This is fine quality, like bakeries used to be 40 years ago. Not to be outdone by their sweet pastries, their sourdough bread is awesome.

I ordered a birthday cake. It was decorated beautifully but the cake was terrible. It was dry & tasteless. The two-tiered cake was mostly buttercream frosting with thin layers of cake. Basically, everyone was eating filling instead of cake. That was actually a blessing in disguise because it made the cake palatable. I was very disappointed & expected more after reading other reviews.

Great bakery! They made my wedding cake just the way I wanted it. It tasted amazing & everyone was so impressed with the design. Pricing was much more affordable than other bakers in the area. Staff was very friendly too! Couldn’t be happier.

Found this bakery here on Unilocal and realized I have driven past it a bunch of times without realizing it. I needed a small but great birthday cake for a family dinner the night of my wife’s 40th birthday. We are trying to cut out sweets so I only wanted a small cake that would not leave us with a lot leftover. I got a Chocolate Truffle Cake that hit the spot. It was so rich but the cake was small(i got the smallest size) so you could just enjoy the decadence without reaching the saturation point we would have reached had the pieces been larger. The service was friendly both when I ordered the cake and when I picked it up. I will definitely be back for the next birthday.

Today, the chocolate elf delivered to my husband’s office the special chocolate cake filled with choc mousse, iced with chocolate butter cream, glazed with ganache and garnished with hand rolled chocolate truffles and topped with marzipan. The Food Network has a show called«The Best Thing I Ever Ate,» and this cake would be my vote by far. To.Die.For. OMG. I just consumed 2000 calories with my eyes. I love chocolate.
