I stopped to get breakfast before catching the ferry. It was open but not quite ready, this was around 830am. Quiche was old, you have to be careful they sell old food. I had the ham & cheese turnover, was skeptical because she didn’t say yes when I asked if it was made today. Had a latte, it was just ok. No napkins. She gives me paper towels. I asked her to heat the savory bread roll, she couldn’t tell when it was baked either. I would not recommend this place. Plus the staff was very unfriendly.

I LOVE this coffee shop, the pastries and drinks are great. But I can’t give it more than 3 stars because they are not open during their posted hours. There have been at least 4 times that I have tried to go and they have been closed. Such a bummer.

The fluffiest cake I have had in decades. Jesus Christ I am crying. The Ron Tampers seal of approval.

Good café mocha. The cowboy cookie was quite good. Friends had the Le Crema Con Panna, sweet but very good. We showed up on a Sunday morning and had the place to ourselves.

Hate giving a bad review however, a while ago I ordered a cake for 30 people. Told her I needed to pick it up on Sunday as I was driving to Ellensburg with it Mon morning early. Sunday I went to get it and sign said«closed for repair»…I called and left messages all day… no response… I ended up going to the Market and got 2 ul cakes. On the drive over To Eburg, she called me and was a little hostile, with excuses… Went to see her but more excuses. She offered me some free coffees but I declined… If you own a business do you not have cellphones? She should have called me Sunday… I have been in there once since to rudeness AGAIN, I am done here with her unfriendly attitude and rudeness. Paying customers deserve better and I don’t care how good a baker you are.

I stopped in while visiting my sister in Anacourtes. We ordered Americano and a latte and both were made well, smooth delicious coffee. On a whim I grabbed a cheddar ham baked turnover — it was flaky, fresh, filled to the brim with delicious cheese and ham, and truly a delight. I could eat another! I will be back when I am in town and would certainly try more of the food offerings next time. Yum!

welcome to a pretty darn lame wanna-be italian-esque café lacking any soul or mojo;) pretentious to the very core. not to mention the $ 4 dollar Americano was weak and watery even after asking for copious amounts of room. service sucked, had to ask for the cream to be refilled. wah wah. so its a cake shop? wheres the cakes? its saturday so wheres the overflowing cases of baked goodies? and why did I still tip? that’s a mystery that has yet to unfold. moral of the story: don’t go here unless you want to dump your coffee out in a fit of rage as you run to the ferry! the only good thing about the place is that I had a smile while writing this review.

Red Velvet was almost orange in color and really cold(case too cold?). Almost no frosting on top as well. Very limited options for a bakery especially the day before Easter. I would not recommend.

Used to be favorite Anacortes bakery. But it has been hit or miss lately. I’m on a hunt for a new fav.

The coffee is good enough, but the business is selfish and unfriendly. Owner parks right in front of the store in prime parking for customers, which gives you clear insight into where her priorities are, herself. With all the great coffee in town, I recommend visiting another place where they will appreciate your patronage.

My impression of a coffee shop or ‘café’ is made or broken by the coffee that is served. In the case of Le Crema, in lovely Anacortes, my opinion is they need to source a local roaster. There are SO many coffee roasters on the west coast. Pick one! illy–(Really?) The shop is totally sweet and the customer service is pretty good too. They serve up an abundance of great looking home baked goodies for wheat-eaters, sandwiches, soups, salads, quiche… all the regular café fare(with out any thought for people with dietary restrictions). So my impression is meh. Nothing for me to eat and the coffee tasted stale and burnt. NOT the barista’s fault at all, simply a poor coffee choice on the behalf of the owner/manager.

I was visiting a friend in Oak Harbor and we had just finished dinner when I decided that I wanted to pick up some cupcakes to bring home with me. The reviews for this place were great, so we decided to come here. When we got there, they only had 2 flavors of cupcakes, one was Red Velvet and the other was Crème Brulee. I ordered 2 of each and we headed home. We got home and decided to try one of the Crème Brulee cupcakes. It was kind of dry and the drizzle on top of the icing was very bitter. My friend mentioned that the cupcakes were probably made that morning and had been sitting all day, which is why they werent moist and fluffy like they should be. I guess that makes sense. The next morning I ate one of the red velvet cupcakes, and I had the same experience. It was dry and just didnt have a great flavor. Honestly, I feel like I could have made better cupcakes myself. The store itself was cute, and had a nice sitting area. If I were to go back, it would be for the coffee and the atmosphere. I probably wouldnt get baked goods again. :(

La Crema will be providing cupcakes for my engagement party. The tastings went very well(on time, prepared, professional, classy ideas) and as a result I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend the hazelnut latte cupcakes & sour cream French vanilla brulee cupcakes.

Best things about this place are: Illy coffee, nice ambiance inside and out, love the outdoor seating, quiche is the best I’ve ever had, chocolate croissants. What I didn’t like was that I made an order for 30 decorated cookies and they were not ready at the agreed upon time. This made me late for my appointment. I felt disappointed by that lack of professionalism. Tip: if you order something, be explicit in what you expect. The cookies were really delicious so I will definitely return.
