Seniors beware, they are out to defraud you. Overcharging is their middle name. They arrive with an empty truck, then overcharge you because it’s not full:(Really a big ripoff

In September 2014 I was faced with a large townhouse to empty on my own, quickly, and it was overwhelming. Things were chaotic and spread everywhere. My husband remembered seeing 1−800-GOT-JUNK trucks and suggested I call this company for help. The scheduling was easy and quick — very bright and helpful customer service agents — and then Ryan and Nick arrived to give an estimate and do the job. The estimating procedure was straightforward and fair-​priced, and I gave the go-​ahead. Ryan and Nick worked super quickly, efficiently, calmly, politely, and thoroughly. It really was amazing, and worth every penny. It is great to know that some of the items or materials will be recycled. At that time Ryan and Nick weren’t able to take the gas stove as it hadn’t been shut off from the gas line (a long story — discovered there was no shut-​off valve). Later that day I was able to have the gas company shut off the gas and detached the stove from the gas line, and the 1−800-GOT-JUNK customer service agents (several, working together!) were able to locate Ryan and Nick so that they could bring the truck back to the townhouse and remove the stove. Watching the effort they made to successfully remove a very tightly wedged-​in stove, very heavy, in a confined space, and out doorways with little space tolerance was incredibly impressive. This company has excellent employees, does excellent work, and fills a really important niche in the home services industry. Thank you 1−800-GOT-JUNK!
