Amazing. Safiha balbaki is my favorite. Moe is a sweetheart. He introduced me to kunaffa. it’s worth the drive from SD to the OC just for this place.

Wow is all I have to say! The food is amazing and fresh! I noticed that this place delivers now from DoorDash, so me being Middle Eastern I of course had to try it. I grew up eating all of this delicious and yummy food. I’m definitely going to try the other items on the menu next time.

Delicious spot, best zatar around Anaheim, you must try this place, it’s the oldest bakery around.

My friend and I were trying to make plans for a late lunch on a Friday and she mentioned this place which I’ve never been to before. After doing a 10-mile run all I could think of was«CARBS, CARBS. CARBS’ and apparently this place was perfect for that. We were hungry(by we I mean myself) so we ordered a bunch of food. We got two(2) Kafta and Cheese and two(2) Zataar and Cheese. Yes, a total of 4 pies. We also got a half dozen of cheese triangles and some hummus with veggies. Everything we ate was AMAZING. All the pies were really good and filling, but next time I will ask for the pies to be cooked extra extra crispy The cheese triangles were soooo good, and delicious. The hummus we got with the veggies was really great and probably one of the best ones I’ve ever had. Absolutely gonna keep coming back here. I was in carbs heaven!

My family has been coming to Al Amir for quite some time now. It is inexpensive, filling and oh so good. My favorite is the Zaater and cheese. We put a few veggies, olives, pickles, cucumbers, tomatoes and mint on top of the slice, scoop a little hummus on it, and inhale. If you’ve never had Lebanese flatbread/pizza, you are in for a treat. Five stars!

I can’t believe I didn’t try this place earlier! It’s a small shop in a larger plaza next to the Ralph’s. The workers are really friendly and the food is good and super cheap! The pizza-like flatbread is made literally in front of you and baked in a pizza oven. 1 flatbread is definitely enough for 1 person!

I have been to every Arab bakery in town and tried cheese bread at each spot. Al Amir is by far the BEST. I used to live in the area and have since moved further away. My husband loves it so much that we will make a special trip for the cheese bread. We always get cheese bread with zaatar sprinkled on top(not the same as zaatar and cheese). It’s a small place and it does take a little while to make it, so unless you are dining in I would call my order in about 10 minutes ahead of time. But, TRUST me, Al Amir is far better than the other local bakeries!

I really love the Lebanese pizzas here! So many options, it was overwhelming at first but we got a few with meat and some without to get to try different ones. I really enjoyed all of them and for under $ 5 each they were a tasty, light and different snack to get to enjoy. Everything is made to order but only takes a few minutes. Service was very sweet and helpful, worth checking out!

Today was my first time and I have to say I’m really impressed! It’s cheap, it’s simple, it’s filling, and it’s delicious. I got the zaatar & cheese and the sojouk & cheese and my favorite was the latter. On top of that, the young cashier was very helpful and very welcoming! If I only knew about this place last year while I went to school on the area, I would’ve gone more often. I know if I’m in the area and in need of a good quick and cheap fill, I’ll go here.

Really great, not too heavy meal. The dough is thin enough so that you don’t feel too full but get a good flavor with it. This was my first time trying this type of food and I really enjoyed it! Tasted really delicious and light. Will definitely be coming back again

First time to this place and I’m so happy I came. The secret to a great pie(manaesh) is the dough that makes up the crust — how thick/thin, how flexible and how it tastes. These guys nail it!!! Oh my god, their pies are so good. I’m a huge fan of the Zaatar and Veggie rap, but this place has something called chicken chipotle — heck yeah I tried it — F@(k yeah it was good!!! I recommend this place — so you now must go here, because I made that recommendation — now go go — go NOW! Enjoy!

Yum! I am almost obsessed with their cheese triangles. I also love their flatbreads. The smell when you walk in is appetizing and makes me super hungry for my food. I think they have something for everyone, including me… a vegetarian. They have some imported sodas and juices. I believe they deliver as well, but only through a website called

Finally made my way here! I was afraid that I would miss this shop because there are several shopping plazas in the area and all of which have a handful of small mom and pop shops. Thankfully I made the right turn. It was in the same plaza as Ralph’s. As soon as I got out of the car I smelled something yummy. I knew I had made it! Yay! The menu is pretty simple. The variety mostly lies in the ingredients and flavor of the pizza from vegetarian to cheese to meat or meat and cheese. Their menu also included an order of mini pizzas and calzone-looking triangle pockets. I also liked that the each item had a # number so that I didn’t have to mispronounce the names of the pizza types. Avoid the butchering of someone’s language by just saying the number! The pizza comes from the kitchen and then it is placed inside a stone or clay oven. It’s so authentic! So be ready to wait for your order. For 2 pizzas I think I waited at least 10 mins. The store is not very big but there were several tables and chairs that could probably seat about 20people max inside. There’s a TV to keep customers entertained as well. My pizza came out piping hot! It smelled soo good I cowjkdnt wait to try it! Each pizza was placed in a brown paper bag and folded in half. My order was made to go. But I couldn’t resist not taking a bite as soon as I got in the car because the delicious aroma just overwhelmed me and my tummy! The pizzas were baked perfectly. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Like a flat bread or thin crust pizza, it was flimsy. But one pizza was quite large and easily feeds one very hungry person or two people. The two pizzas I ordered could feed 3 – 4 people. I ordered two kinds: Zaatar & Cheese and the Sfeeha(ground beef, yogurt, pomegranate, and pine nuts). Personally I liked the cheese one better. It had an herb and olive oil base topped with cheese. The other meat and tomato based one was alright. Maybe meat lovers will enjoy this one better.

We came to Al Amir at a friend’s recommendation. We have never before had Middle Eastern pizza, so this restaurant provided a great introduction to the tasty pie. Located in a strip mall in Anaheim, Al Amir is a humble bakery with limited seating. Everything is baked fresh in a large brick oven, so expect to wait awhile. We ordered various pies to share including the zaatar(mix of herbs), cheese, and kafta(meat). The crust is thin and soft, just the way I like it. My favorite pizza was the cheese, which was plain, yet unbelievably flavorful and salty from the cheese. We also ordered Labneh(a type of Greek yogurt); this served as a great dip for the crust. Al Amir’s menu items are incredibly inexpensive. Most of the pizzas are under $ 5. The cheese, for instance, is $ 2.99. Delicious food at reasonable prices. Way to go, Al Amir.

The food is very good, but Al Amir is no longer the only Arab bakery in town. There are plenty of comparable places in Anaheim(Little Arabia). I ordered a lahm baajin with cheese(meat pie with cheese). It was delicious. However, I don’t like that if I only get meat, it costs $ 2.75, and just adding cheese more than doubles the price to $ 6.49. I know Akawi cheese is more expensive than regular american cheese, but other places only charge 50 cents or $ 1 to add it to the lahm baajin. They also charge a fee for using a credit card, while other places do not. It ends up being more than twice as expensive as other places for the same thing.

My favorite pizza place(yes it is a flatbread place, but to the undiscerning eye, it looks and tastes better than a thin crust pizza). Ordered the #6(ground beef with red pepper) and the #8(the veggie pizza.) The veggie pizza is PHENOMENAL. The blend of veggies and goat cheese is perfect. The ground beef flatbread was also delicious; the ground beef was very fine and fell apart from the actual flat bread, but was still good. Next time, I definitely want to try the meat pizza, which comes with both ground beef and goat cheese. Pro tip: Get a yogurt drink or mango drink to go with your meal! Make sure you also ask for the hot sauce they have behind the counter to give your meal an extra kick!

I think this was the first time I tried fresh manakish since my aunt usually buys them frozen. I was in the area and wanted to try a new place and I’ve heard about this place. I got a #5 kefta($ 3.99) with a drink it comes to $ 5.66. I got a Vitmo which was interesting but too herby for me. Kefta is ground beef with parsley and chopped onions, I really did like it and brought some home for my family to try and they liked it as well. Place is small and clean, near Ralph and Rite Aid. The wait time can take a while, but they do have a tv playing a drama while I was there. They do take card.
