Had the chicken tacos not bad! The salsa is pretty good. I have to try more things on the menu before giving a accurate review.

Looking for a place near my wife’s work to grab us something to eat. I came across this restaurant on Unilocal.Portions are huge. Ordered chili cheese fries which were good. Also ordered the chicken tostada salad and that was a huge disappointment. I would have posted a picture however it fell apart soon as we started eating it. All in all ok place. We will see what else is around. I would give this place a rating of 2 ½ to 3 stars.

Ok so after watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding this am my son and I were craving something Greek. Being Mothers day, knowing places were crowded, plus I didn’t feel like getting dressed and makeup and all that, we had our ‘fancy dinner’ last night. So I helped gyro and this place was closest to me, reviews looked good so we gave it a try… All we got were a couple of gyros and onion rings. Lady who took orders over the phone was super nice. As were employees inside. Food was ready when we arrived, still hot when we got home. Onion rings were yummy. The gyro was excellent! Looked at what some of the other customers were eating everything looked great! Will def be back.

Ok so we decided to stop by after PT and leaving not too thrilled… I ordered the waffle combo asked for sunny side up eggs and bacon and sausage and only recieved bacon the eggs were not very good just cold. The bacon was not cooked thru. Waffles were hard. My husband ordered steak sandwich with a mixed order of zucchini fries and fries and not too thrilling :(the steak sandwich was mainly fat. Coffee also not great at all just plain. Unfortunately I was wrong about this being a nice treasure but we won’t be coming back anytime soon. The only thing that we liked about this place was the cashier she was ok. NOTSUREWHYTHISPLACEISSOOBUSY??? NOTWORTHIT. Maybe it’s the menudo that’s why deserves a star. Sorry guys.

Food is still ok, but ya know when you brought me my bacon and eggs this morning you FORGOTTHETOAST I PAIDFOR. And no I did not ask, any moron delivering a breakfast order like that should know, and I shouldn’t have to go and BEG for it. Bad service is the norm these days, no wonder this joint is deserted. The captives during the week in the area are forced to eat here, and it clearly shows no one gives a shit about service.

Alea Café is a great lunch spot. Although it can busy during lunch. For good reason. Portions are big even for a diner type place. Got the fish grill type lunch special for around $ 8. It was like a dinner in itself!

Truly a hidden treasure among the diners of OC. Fresh and delicious burgers and fries with a shake will fill your stomach before you can even complain. The workers are extremely friendly– some of them are native-born Hispanic, so they do make mistakes from time to time, but regardless they manage to pump out excellent dishes and keep me going. It’s location within an industrial area makes it the perfect place to spend after-hours or lunch hours.

Been there a few times and each time not so great pf service. supprsingly i went back four times today will be the last. First o wait in line im next, the gal taking orders looks right past me and asks whos next i look at her and awknoledge her and she sees past me. As of i wasnt there. so i walk up to the gentlemen(later found out he is the manager) and takes my order. (been here a few times and each time the waitresses dont reall say much toe but really chat or up with other customers). i fill my drink and sit. get my salad first as im in the last four bites… BAM!!! plastic clip from a bread bag… ughoh. so i hold off set my plate aside to wait for my chicken. one the waitreas drops my plate in front of me, shes about to grab my salad plate and tell her that i found a plastic tab in my plate and would like to see what the manager can do for me. she heaitates aomewhat seems annoyed with me, i was notad angry nor loud. she says ok ill ask him… walks away. i slowly eat my fries take a bite of my chicken wing and there he is. he was very apologetic, and sincere. he asked what can he do for me. I asked him what can you do for me… slight pause then he says what do you want me to do… I told him how about you comp my food… he says ok can i have your receipt. I gave it to hom and says ill be right back. he send his waitress to give me my money i said to her thank you. then the other waitresses are very friendly and attenative to the others eating there, smiling and so on. each time i jave walked in here never been treated like that. im all about customer service. it turns out the people behind me ordered the same meal the waitress brought the meal, and says to the guest oh sorry forgot the salad, brongs them theor salad, then oh forgot your garlic bread, or and your ranch… so on. I never knew you get garlic bread, the first time i ordered this meal the chicken was so fried looked like the served me a pigeon bot a chicken… lol. its funny o base my restaurants by the first trip, and for some reason i came back gave thwm each time another chance… even though i got a free meal their waitresses need to not be judgemental and treat everyone respectfully and the same way. unless the person is being rude in some way then i see where the attitude may come. anywho this day marks the last day o eat here only because of their service. food was good the third time around, but they owe me a few pieces of garlic bread lol. ill pass. but just be careful and look in your salad befor you take a bite. service needs work…

No complaints at all! Food was excellent, options are plentiful. It gets packed at lunchtime which is good because you know the place is well known and solid. But the parking lot is too small and there may be no spots. Also can take a bit to get food. I recommend and will return!!!

Had the chicken salad… dry and flavorless chicken. Ranch is thick, like sour cream so I didn’t even bother. Never again.

Not a bad spot at all. Gets pretty crowded, chili cheese fries with pastrami is pretty good, love the pastrami. Not too fatty, not to oily. Would go back. Very clean and comfortable«hole in the wall».

We’ve been coming here for a couple months, drawn in by the 4 stars and mostly positive reviews. 3 out of 5 times they have messed up our order. This time was the last straw. Ordered for pick up today 8:31am, order #1011. The girl who took my order over the phone was short & used no manners. Word of advice: Please and thank you go a long way. Also when some says Thank you, you’re welcome is the proper response… not OK& hang up the phone. Wow! I pick up the food, still no manners but the girl was nice enough. Get home third time now and our order is incorrect. Oh but it gets so much better when I call in to try to rectify the matter… NOT! Edgar answered the phone, I said I had a complaint. He was confused and asked me to repeat myself several times. He told me to call back after 11am. I said no, I want to speak to a manager. He said there wasn’t one til 11am. I asked if there was anyone whom could help me with my issue, he said call back. I asked for the manager’s name, he told me George but struggled for a last name. Finally after mumbling for a bit, he admitted he didn’t know it. At this point I’m beyond frustrated… I asked him how they run a business with no manager? Because he couldn’t be serious that I had to wait 2 plus hours to fix my food. Then he said well what was my order… I told him and then he said he was unsure & again couldn’t answer questions. I told him I know it’s not his fault Alea Café is so poorly run with no on site manager, but thanks for his help & they lost 3 customers. I wasted so much time just trying to get Edgar to understand what was going on and in the end I felt stupid for having had that moronic conversation. Honestly this is the worst run restaurant I’ve seen yet in Anaheim.

One of the better bacon breakfast burritos I’ve had. Super greasy, good tasting cheese, good crispiness on the hash browns… I could only eat half of this baby. It’s just too much to eat a whole one by yourself.

Don’t get the high reviews for this place. The food at IHOP tastes better than this joint. We ordered pancakes which wasn’t too tasty, a veggie omelette which tasted like you just bit an onion and another dish that had undercooked hash browns. No Bueno I say.

Need a greasy spoon? Aléa Café is there for you Anaheim. I was at Manheim California on business when familiar pangs of hunger hit so I enlisted the services of the nearby Aléa Café. Seeing the rock solid Unilocal rating and huge menu I figured it was as good as I would get in the immediate and headed over on a 100 degree day. Thankfully, their air conditioning was spitting out full blast. The interior is about what you would expect at a diner: a lot of plastic and well worn. The service is nonexistent once you order and pay which is actually a good thing as the manager on duty while I visited seemed to be pushing the employees around for reasons I do not understand. In fact, he cut off his subordinate in the middle of our order and made us order from the ground up at another register so he could count out the till he wanted to in a total public display of power. A lowly move from a jerk of a boss. At any rate, I ended up going with the Greek Salad which was an acceptable iteration featuring iceberg lettuce, red onion, feta cheese, olives, pepperoncini, and a balsamic vinaigrette. The salad come flanked with a soft pita round and Tzaziki sauce for dipping. All of the ingredients were of adequate quality and I cannot seem to recall any faults or attractions, just a run of the mill salad at a reasonable price. Aléa Café is about as 3 stars as it gets!

I live for non-chain finds! This place is definitely a local must! I’ve been here at least once a week since discovery because let’s face it– they have it all! MYFAVORITE: their breakfast(served all day) is still great. I recommend pairing it with their hand squeezed OJ! THEIRSERVICE: the girls at the counter are friendly but you can expect a 10 – 15 min wait for dine in– especially weekend mornings. Their kitchen makes good seasoned plates BUT because they have an extensive menu they do often get it wrong so CHECKYOUORDER for takeout. THEIRFOOD: breakfast and burgers! They have everything from Mexican to Greek but if this is your first time at Alea try their best: breakfast and burgers! They also carry hearty chicken, and salmon salads! OVERALL: better than Denny’s.

4 stars on the breakfast here. I haven’t tried anything else yet but the breakfast burritos are for sure solid. Not the best you will ever have but better then most places in this business area. I have tried several different options for breakfast burritos here and have been satisfied with each one of them. I like the combo one the best with sausage, bacon and ham. Freshly prepared to order with good flavor. If you come here and are taking a take out order it’s easiest to order over the phone for pick up as it will be ready when you arrive and there is not sitting around waiting early in the morning when your starving. Overall a solid place with comparable prices to other restaurants in the area for breakfast burritos. We have been here several times and will continue to eat here in the future as my whole team be I enjoy their food. One of these days we will try their burgers and some other dishes to see where they stand on those items.

Service is key with all of my reviews. This being said the service i received the other day was horrible. I wasn’t attended too in a timely manner and once i finally was attended to it was very rushed. Almost as if she was in a hurry to be somewhere. I ordered a chorizo and egg burrito. When asking if hash brown come inside she said yes. When I reviewed my receipt i noticed she charged me $ 1.00 for the hash browns. When i asked her about it she said she thought i knew the extra charge… uhhh no, this was my first(and last) time there. Not to mention the burrito seemed small in size. Everything considered there’s so much competition in the burger joint world if your service sucks, on to the next one. The food wasnt all that bad, just the service was. Won’t be coming back here… Honorable Mention: Bad sevice(at least on my visit it was)

Was on the prowl for some new breakfast burritos in the area and this spot came up close to the house. It had high ratings and the pics looked good. I was sold. This burger joint is not much on the outside, but it’s clean and they have ample parking and seating inside. As soon as I walked in, I noticed they had cups of OJ on ice. I immediately asked if it was fresh juice and the cashier confirmed that it indeed was. Long story short, it was amazing and they bring it out in a big glass garnished with a sliced orange. Totally didn’t expect that. The burrito was good and I got it with sausage per the cashier’s recommendation. It was definitely filling. There was plenty of egg, meat, hash browns and cheese in every bite and it was a good portion but not so big that I was bloated after the fact. Of course a trip to a burger joint isn’t complete without an order of fried zucchini. They did it right and it was crunchy and crispy until the end. They give you a lot of it for being a side order. Breakfast for two with OJ and an iced tea came to a little over $ 20. Not bad and I’d come back to check out some of their burgers in the future!
