Dapper Day at Disneyland was so great!!! My favorite part was seeing all of the other guests in their beautiful outfits. I was a bit disappointed with the Expo though. It was so small and crowded and they talked up a dance and drinks but when we got there it was like a 10×10 dance floor in the middle of the lobby and then a small beer/wine bar that I didn’t even walk over too since the line was too long. I was just so excited for the expo and talked it up to all my friends but then we only stayed for 10 minutes because there wasn’t much to see. I will definitely be attending Dapper Day again in September but not the expo, just dressing up. Maybe if they expand it and have a real dance hall and a bigger show room I would be down to attend. Overall it was a great day!!!

Time to straighten out that bow tie and set those pin curls because this expo is very dapper! This Dapper Day Expo was open for two days on Sat 2÷28÷15 and Sun 3÷1÷15. I attended the expo on Sunday only. It is so much fun to see all of the dapper people strolling around the hotel and shopping for vintage and vintage inspired clothing, accessories & home goods. They changed things up from the last expo in September 2014. Last year they had another room with a sketch studio where you could get your portrait done in your most dapper outfits. This year they had a way better variety of vendors. The awesome part was that the vendors had square readers and would take credit cards(very dangerous but convenient)! I had arrived later in the afternoon so we missed out on the dance lessons and bar so I just went shopping. The vintage accessory vendors had really good varieties of earrings and gloves. The contemporary vintage inspired clothing and accessories were at an affordable price point and came in lots of sizes. I ended up purchasing a pair of earrings that were designed and manufactured by a local designer here in LA as well as some fun hair flower clips. As usual, there was a long line for the step and repeat but we stood in line anyway since the step and repeat looked really good this year. This Dapper Day event was orange themed so they set up wooden crates filled with fresh oranges. Just too cute not to pass up that photo op. Overall, I had a great time at the expo and will be back for every Dapper Day event. The only thing I didn’t care for was that most of the Dapper Day event staff were not dressed dapper at all so it kind of seemed odd that the people putting on the event didn’t care enough to not wear jeans and dirty sneakers that day.
