LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I’m here once a week without fail. Mom and Pop place. Mom serves Pop cooks. Food is always so fresh and the soups rock. Won ton. Prices are on point. If they did charge more i would still eat here.

I love this place! I’ve come here since I was little. The orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, and potato chicken are really good. Their spicy chicken with garlic sauce is new– really good as well! Everyone who helps out is very nice!

I went to lunch here with a couple of co-​workers that had a craving for some chinese. They enjoyed their food and it seemed like a low price for 3 people (it was under 20 dollars). I thought the food was very bland, I didn’t finish even close to half of my bowl… So why the 1 star review!!!
When we were picking up our plates a cockroach emerged from our booth and started crawling around our table… really?!? I’m surprised the health department has not shut them down to get rid of them! I will most definitely never return or recommend this place to anyone!

This place got that on fleek. Fast and friendly service and always speedy whenever I check it out. I know there are a lot of these Chinese fast foods, but dragon express just put the flame on fire. The orange chicken here has just enough of savory, and just when you thought that was enough, BAM! you get hit with some sweet and sour.
This is my go to place for lunch or dinner whenever I take my family to Disneyland. Saves me money, time and a headache. Thank you dragon express

Horrible food do not come here! Very disappointed! The orange chicken is all stale looks old their pork ribs super flavorless I had to almost pour half a bottle of soy sauce to make it decent to eat. The Coke is flat no flavor in it like how do u get soda from a machine wrong? The rice it’s also flavorless this food just sucks save yourself some money and go somewhere else. I would give negative five stars but Unilocal don’t allow that.

I was happy to see there was chinese food across the street from Hotel Pepper Tree. My boyfriend and I were happy with the price and the food was delicious. I got chow mein (delicious), orange chicken (good), and teriyaki chicken (different, but yum). The teriyaki was fried and very different from what I’m used to. I’ve had better orange chicken, but it was still very delicious and the chow mein too. I recommend going here if you’re in the area for some cheap delicious chinese food.

Ordered their orange chicken, and there was no chicken in it! Super hard exterior that tasted of burnt propane and somehow was also of some sort of stale texture?! Their chow mein was super oily. I don’t think I will ever go here again. There were people go in and out of their bathroom screaming at each other. Their string bean dish looked like the beans had the life sucks out of them! I would rather drive a couple miles further than go back here.

Not the best Chinese I’ve ever had. It’s almost like a fast food chain. The food is always cold and tough and the staff is not very pleasant.
I have to give credit where it’s due. Their noodles are really good, regardless of if they are cold.
The service is not that great either. They just kind of push the food down along the line and then stick their hand out asking for your cash.
There are places less than a mile from here that are a lot better. Just saying this place could use some work, in all areas

Decided to try this place because it was close to my work. When I got there and all the food looked really plain, as it was my lunch break and didn’t have time to go anywhere else I ordered a two item plate. The chow-​mien and orange chicken was very bland almost no flavor. And the worst offense CHARGED REFILLS! Alway a pet peeve of mine.

Omg! The best chinese food. We dont live close by here, but it is always a real treat coming here. The portions are big, the food is hot, the chow mein is delicious, the orange chicken is soo good and the bbq pork is so juicy and tender.

FINALLY! 3rd time was a charm this night. After visiting 2 other chinese food locations that would not accept our form of payment for the night, we found ourselves here! We haven’t been here in years as well so it was nice to be back!
I love this place! The ladies are so sweet and they give cute little plates to make you feel at home when you dine in! How stinkin’ cute is that?!
I will admit though, I personally was NOT a fan of the Orange Chicken this time. It has almost like a brown sugar crust and I just wasn’t feeling that what so ever. Everything else was really good though. We got fresh veggies rolls that were nothing short of perfection! The chow mein is superb. Not greasy or anything, that makes me happy. I didn’t get that gross bloated feeling after eating it.

GREAT hole-​in-​the-​wall chinese food! I live the down the street and have been going here for years. You get good chinese food for a great price. They are CASH ONLY. Try the Potato Chicken. Other good dishes are the Orange Chicken, BBQ Pork and Teriyaki Chicken.

What can I say. Hmmm ok. Why two stars? because the kung pao chicken has no flavor, because their chow mein is too soggy, because they don’t have much selection. We come here because their portions I must say are better than any other chinese fast food place in the area, and it’s good to satisfy that chinese food craving I get at times. The orange chicken is ok, not the best, but at least is not overly breaded, the rice is also ok. Their food always seems like it’s been sitting there for a while, so presentation wise it is not appealing. I must say the lady over the counter is really nice. I guess bottom line is my husband is too lazy to drive around to a BETTER tasting chinese joint. Will I come back? Maybe…

This place has some bomb Chinese food. The servers behind the counter were super nice and they are not stingy with the portions. You can get a huge meal for only $ 5.19 and a large drink for only a $ 1. That’s a deal. I had the orange chicken, BBQ pork, rice, and chow mein. It is hard to find good BBQ pork. As I was in line other customers raved about the great food.
Only downfall is the location is a bit on the sketchy side. But the food itself makes up for it. I will definitely go back and try some more entrees.

The best Chinese fast food restaurant I’ve ever been to. My family and I have actually been loyal customers since 1996 or so, and their food has never failed on us.
Everything tastes just right! We always order fried rice, chow mein, orange chicken, and pepper steak altogether, and they give you LOTS of food all for under $ 10. I went to Panda Express today and a tiny bowl of fried rice and orange chicken cost me that much, unfortunately, and it didn’t even taste good whatsoever.
But anyways, this place is just awesome, and I highly recommend it to anyone in the area (or visiting the area) to stop by if they have any cravings for Chinese takeout. The staff is friendly as well. I hope they never, ever close up!
