I love shitty Chinese food, but this place is below even my bar. I ordered chow mein, orange chicken, and bbq pork. Everything was borderline inedible. I stopped half way through and threw the rest away. Really…reallly.reaaaallly awful quality.

Gross. Very bland. My kids normally love fried rice and chowmain. They didn’t touch their plates after first bite. There was no customer presence at noon when I went. I walked right up to the counter and placed my order and then some guy showed up after me and the lady behind the counter started talking to him and stopped attending me. How rude!

Was craving some Chinese food yesterday so I decided to try this place since it was the closest. I got the two item combo with Beef &Broccoli and Orange Chicken. I also got just fried rice since the chow mein looked pretty bland. The Beef & Broccoli was okay, nothing special. I do wish it had more beef though. The orange chicken was not very good, it was almost cakey? There was just a lot of the coating on there. The rice was pretty bland as well. I probably won’t be coming back.

If I could give zero star I would. The food here is unpleasant! Never coming back here! Waste of money.

This place sucks. The ladies are always rude and never welcoming… The food isn’t always up to par too. Our last time there my husband ordered a 2 item combo with Eggrolls cream cheese wonton and soup and he was charged $ 26 but told the lady she mischarged him. I’m not sure if these people love their restaurant business or not but they should really give it more effort. Don’t come here… Go somewhere else.

The lady that works there is so rude. She has major attitude when she talks to her customers. She throws the food and the sauce. She doesn’t listen to you when you ask her for something politely. She charges extra for everything. I went here several times thinking everytime she will be nicer, but she is exactly the same. People I know went here separately without me and they experienced the same thing. I don’t know how she’s still in business. The food is not even that great either. Chow mein is dry. Fried rice is whatever. She gives you one piece of beef and the rest is broccoli when you order broccoli beef. They should just call it broccoli not broccoli beef. For the spicy chicken it’s 99% celery and 1% chicken. You order teriyaki chicken she gives you no sauce unless you remind her multiple times. Oh and the chicken is 80% burnt. I do not recommend this place at all. Only good thing about this placs is that its cheap. But still not worth my money. DONOTGOHEREUNLESSYOUWANTBADSERVICE. I don’t even want to give a single star but Unilocal is making me choose at least one.

What’s the point of having a phone if you’re never going to pick up. I wanted to place an order for pick up and make sure they have an item available(because last time I went they were out) I’m not going to drive all the way from Anaheim Hills to Brookhurst just to find out they still don’t have the chicken wings. …if only I could’ve called… That would’ve been awesome.

Worker at the front is so rude no manners. No idea what customer service is. On top of that the food is trash. My teriyaki chicken was all burnt and she didn’t even put the teriyaki sauce on it. Their chow mein is just noodles no flavor. The spicy chicken is all celery with no chicken. This place doesn’t even deserve a star… do not eat here you have been warned…

It was ok, average portions, prices you expect. Look like something is missing, there teriyaki chicken is not marinated or has sauce it taste like chicken cooked over charcoal but it was good. I would take it to go. They are stingy with the cream cheese in cream cheese wontons.

Always great food! Have it a couple times a month since I work nearby, one of the best Chinese foods I’ve ever had! Workers are always nice and the prices are so good for so much food. I’m never able to finish.

In my never ending quest to find a great Chinese fast food restaurant, I came today to Fortune Wok. Here is what I found out: Food: I decided to try the chow mein /fried rice combination with orange chicken and teriyaki chicken. I wanted to try other items instead of just chicken but I didn’t see that they had much else out that looked appetizing even though they have things like BBQ pork and fried shrimp on their menu, which I’m sure they can make, if you ask them to. Anyway, the chow mein and fried rice didn’t really have much taste and seemed a little undercooked and dry. There is enough cabbage in the chow mein but not much more as far as vegetables. The orange chicken was ok although the breeding seemed a little on the heavy side. It was citrus-ey which is what I expect orange chicken to be, but also maybe just a bit more than ideal. The Teriyaki chicken was also ok although it seemed more like grilled chicken with sauce on top(which you can get on the side if you want). Since I ordered my food«for here» it came in an actual plate. A nice touch. Most fast food places will serve it in the styrofoam containers no matter what. Atmosphere: place was pretty laid back and the lady seemed nice enough. Down to business but not rude by any means. It’s nice to have a restaurant with bathrooms accessible to the public too. Price: Average for what I would pay for any other Chinese fast food place. Conclusion: the food is edible and I would go back but only if I didn’t have any better alternative(and I still haven’t seen what else is around). There are plenty more places that could wow me.

My wife wanted Chinese food yesterday on our way to Home Depot. I suggested we try the Chinese restaurant next to it. Walking in and over to where the food is behind the counter, she looked and looked. I asked her what she would like(she is Chinese) and her statement was«I don’t know.» This was because all the food looked dry, not fresh, and hardly appetizing. Finally, she ordered a bowl with spicy chicken. I ordered their honey chicken with rice and noodles. Also, ordered a plate of dumplings. Now for what what we received. My wife’s bowl could have been deemed spicy celery. The amount of chicken was minute. The rice was dry. The bowl was overwhelmed with celery(which she wouldn’t and didn’t eat all of it.) When she was done, there was more food left(basically celery) than what was eaten. My plate was large in quantity but small in taste. The chicken was too sweet. The rice too dry. The noodles tasteless. Couldn’t and didn’t want to finish my meal. I do have to say the dumplings were very good and reasonably priced. All-in-all, nice service, poor food, reasonably priced. With that being said, we have unfortunately walked away from Fortune Wok!

Basic run of the mill Chinese place. The steamed rice was a bit dry and clumpy, but the chow mien was pretty good. Kung Lao chicken was not bad and barely spicy. Spicy chicken in garlic sauce wasn’t spicy but a bit sweet. Two item plate was 5.99. This satisfied my week long craving though it was nothing spectacular. Service is the usual, average.

If you want some pretty good fast Chinese food this place is great. It was my go to for a local Chinese food when I worked up the street. The employees were always friendly but don’t go around 3 when the schools let out because that place gets jam packed. The bbq pork is delicious though.

After our failed attempt at a previous chinese food place, we decided to visit here since we haven’t been back in years! We COMPLETELY forgot its cash only! Womp, so we walked out the second we saw that. Yet again another location where they should take my money no matter the form! Goodness, I get the benefits of cash only for both myself and the facility but man oh man! But again, this place is really good. I haven’t had anything I don’t like yet from this place! I just need to remember its cash only I guess.

Used to be my favorite Chinese place before they fell off. The food is all dried up and greasy. I keep giving them another chance but every time I eat here, they remind me why I don’t anymore!

I stopped eating Chinese food years ago due to the high amount if oils and fats; however, I recently found this gem and I’ll ce back again. Im picky on preparation and I like my food a certain way. This place prepares it fresh the way I want it, unheard of in most fast food chinease spots. Steamed veggies and fried rice with no oil, this place is fresh!
