Awesome breakfast. My family and I were in Cars Land and stopped in for breakfast. We indulged in monstrous pieces of brioche French Toast and a delicious chicken tamale. This is a quick service location and the lines were short. Incredible food. The coffee was not very good… it’s better to hit the Starbucks near the front of the park. Nice 50s theming, but it would be good to see this restaurant redone like the 50s diner at Hollywood Studios in Florida. Redo it as sit-down with snappy servers. We only spent $ 31 on breakfast. This is low for Disneyland standards and we were able to use our DVC discount. Leave your trash and trays on the table. My wife got the evil eye from a cast member when she took our trash over to the trash cans in the back of the restaurant.

HAVEAGAIN: The American breakfast and the Brioche breakfast were really good, with good-sized portions and a great view of the Radiator Springs Racers. We greatly enjoyed this meal.

My least favorite lunch so far at Disney. The atmosphere was OK, but nothing you will not be able to get wherever you live. I got the turkey dip, turkey didn’t have a lot of flavor, there wasn’t enough cheese, and the roll wasn’t very high quality. The pasta salad had WAY to vinegar, and too much onion Wasn’t the worst thing I have eaten, but it just might be at Disneyland.

We had gotten in early for DCA and had already gotten our fast passes so we decided to have a bite to eat for breakfast. Flo’s was near us so we stopped in for a bite. There was no line and we were able to order right away. I got the Mexican tamale egg dish while my husband got the french toast. Both were very good! This meal was big enough to last us all day till dinner. We took advantage of the outdoor seating and shade from the sun. We were able to watch the radiator racers from our table! Atmosphere = 8 Service = 8 Food = 9 I can’t tell you how lunch and dinner is here but I can tell you breakfast was great! Enjoy!

Lunch and dinner, I’m still not sure about, but breakfast is fantastic. I’ll write more later to detail what I get here, but I can tell you for now that the brioche French toast is amazeballs. Warning it has bananas but you can ask for without it. No meat on the meal but you can ask for a side of bacon. :)

I like that they have a vegetarian option here, that isn’t just a salad, but they changed up since my last visit and I wasn’t a huge fan of the quinoa and red peppers instead of the veggie patty under the potatoes. It’s a little pricier than some of the other quick service spots too but gotta love that Radiator Springs ambiance.

Down home good food at a decent price with great service. The mac n cheese was creamy and cheesy. The ribs came right off the bone. They have Racer 5 on tap. I am told by my beer affecianatos that that is rare. Nice to get real food in an amusement park.

Disneyland does it again! Many pass holders will probably agree that they come to the parks more for the food than the rides. I’ve been wanting to try Flo’s V8 Café but never make it early enough to try their breakfast until recently. We had the tamale and brioche breakfast and both were absolutely delicious! The combination of the tamale, egg, and salsa verde complemented each other very well. If you enjoy a sweeter breakfast, then you’ll enjoy the brioche French toast topped with bananas and caramel. I was very impressed on how quickly the food was ready and how great it still tasted. If you sit to the left of the registers you’ll get a great view of Radiator Springs with your meal. I haven’t had a chance to try their lunch menu and am reviewing this solely for the breakfast. I highly recommend trying this place if you are visiting Disneyland and I would definitely eat here again if I can wake up early enough.

Food is not bad, but if I were to pick from all the food options California adventure has, I definitely would prefer the cove bar or corn dog castle! My boyfriend and I ordered the roast beef sandwich with pasta salad and the turkey citron salad. The sandwich pretty much tasted like a cheese burger but with roast beef– decent but nothing amazing The pasta salad was meh The turkey salad had a generous serving of turkey and cranberries with I love and the salad is refreshing but again, nothing I couldn’t quickly whip up at home! But on the plus side– they give you big size water cups here :)

DCA is sadly very limited on its vegetarian options, and I found Flo’s to the best place to suit both my veggie diet and my friends’ meat diet, heh. Overall the food is decent — do not get the French toast… serious sugar overload — BUTTHEVIEWISAMAZING. I really enjoyed the décor of the café too, and the songs playlist is on point.(: Yup yup.

Date of visit — March 26, 2016 We were getting hungry while in line for Luigi’s Rollicking Roadsters, and after the ride decided to stop in at Flo’s V8 Café. The sign outside advertised BBQ pork ribs in a Coca-Cola sauce — and after trying the ribs at the late, lamented Big Thunder Mountain Ranch a couple of years ago, we wanted to compare.(Plus, BBQ in a Disneyland resort? You gotta try it!) While I went for the ribs, my lady chose their roast beef sandwich; our orders actually filled us up. The roast beef was piled high on Kathy’s sandwich — she had to resort to a fork to finish it off. The ribs were tender, and you could definitely taste the Coca-Cola in the sauce — if I had to compare it to the ribs at Big Thunder Mountain Ranch, I think the latter had a slight lead. Too bad we’ll never be able to give a full comparison again… Although the sides I had were just ok(mashed potatoes and veggies), Kat’s order came with a pickle spear(which I was jealous that she had gotten one). We lucked out finding a place to sit inside the café; I liked the 50s-style recording artist vibe from the artwork on the walls to the faux-gold and platinum records(apparently before she married Ramone in the Cars universe, Flo was part of a girl group way back when). The classic Motown tunes playing added to the ambiance as well. Too bad the wait can be a bit long, and there’s no refills offered at the restaurant. But, one added perk — there’s beer on tap!(Didn’t find out what brand was served, but that’s one option to help calm down the parents.) Worth going back to again while in Cars Land(especially as I want to try that roast beef sandwich myself).

Man, breakfast at Disneyland just isn’t good unless you’re at the Carnation Café. The setup at this place is much the same as the Hungry Bear restaurant at the main park. You view the menu, choose what you want, then sidle up to the first open register to place your order. We both decided to order the American Breakfast, which came with eggs(scrambled only), biscuit, bacon and potatoes. I went hot chocolate, he went coffee. Once you pay, you’re handed your receipt, and you step up to the serving counter(or, at Flo’s, they hand you your«parking ticket» and ask you to «please pull forward».) Once at the counter, someone takes your receipt and hands you your order. That’s the theory, at least. On our visit, they took the receipt, gave us our drinks, then left us to stand there for almost five minutes while everyone else around us got their trays and left. When they finally realized that they had been ignoring us, they hopped to and got us our food, but forgot the apologies. Whatever. The food was not good. The eggs were very obviously the kind you pour out of a carton, and they were cold. The bacon was cut so thin you could see though it, and it was so greasy it almost slipped right out of my hands(that last part may be an exaggeration, but it was very greasy…) The potatoes were marginal, and the biscuit was dry and got stuck to the roof of my mouth. Needless to say, I did not feel good about myself after that meal, and it was not all consumed. Hot chocolate was decent, though.

Love Flo’s v8 café! I normally go here only for the flo’s vanilla classic milkshake. It is delicious! It comes with oreo crumbs on top to mix in. The lines can be long so be patient and be aware of it. Definitely come back for more milk shakes in the near future. Hands down the best way to keep yourself cool on a hot day!

Obviously this place was awesome because it’s in Cars Land. I got the turkey citrus salad and it was absolutely delicious! Lots of good flavors and the dressing is perfect. Really nice lunch for a warm day.

Not many can say they’ve been to Radiator Springs! If you’ve seen the Movie CARS than you know that Disney California Adventure did an amazing job duplicating the Radiator Springs. This place is filled with fun shops and rides for the family and yourself. This diner in particular has the 50’s theme decorations with oldies and the checkered patterns. I was a bit hesitant to eat here because Disneyland food is known not to fill you up, but it still gave it a try. I ordered the Roast Beef and cheddar Sandwich. The sandwich came with a side of Cole slaw and ½ a pickle. To my surprise the sandwich was filled with lots of beef and cheddar cheese. The cheese was perfectly melted into the sandwich and made every bite a flavorful one. I was surprised to see how much roast beef they added to my meal. The cole Slaw was average. We also ordered a chocolate pie. The chocolate pie was excessively chocolaty. I’m not a big chocolate fan, but I managed to eat half of it. Overall, this dinner was really nice. For a second it felt like we were living in the 50’S. They did a great job with this diner, everything from the music to the upholstery on the seats. Great food and great 50’s atmosphere.

Not bad for Disneyland. Cute old-fashioned diner ambiance. I was so happy with the Citrus Turkey Salad, to finally have some vegetables in my system after all the junk food I’d been consuming. My fruit cup was ok, but the grapes tasted less than fresh. My husband said the beef-cheddar sandwich was just ok, too much horseradish sauce. The mac ‘n’ cheese tasted off, but I was happy to get the apples, carrots and milk with my toddler’s meal. I’d get the salad again!

Tamale’s for breakfast. Seriously, what major fan of Mexican food wouldn’t want that? I’ve only tried Flo’s once before, it was for a dinner I shared with my mother of the Turkey Dinner, which I can’t seem to find on their menu any more which gives me hope that they realized how awful it was. That being said, I was skeptical to try Flo’s again until my parents came to visit me for a weekend and my Dad was absolutely«starving» when we got to the park. Flo’s was the first place we noticed so I decided to give it another shot and I am so glad I did! We ordered the Chicken Tamale Breakfast and shared between the two of us, it was perfectly spicy, warm, with a great amount of chicken inside(something tamales tend to lack). This is a must for me now whenever I’m at the parks early. Side Note: I am incredibly impatient when it comes to eating at the parks. This meal was quick, filling, and yet had the qualities of a sit down restaurant meal. Get it!

This is my all time favorite place for quick eats at California Adventure! You go up to the counter and order, and within minutes you’re eating a hot, fresh, delicious meal in the middle of Cars Land(sit outside if the weather permits– Cars Land is so dope!) I think the menu has changed a bit since I’ve been there last, but the food is consistently good. It’s my family’s favorite place to dine while visiting the Disney resort– it’s affordable and delicious and they offer an annual pass discount! Their breakfast is really good as well, and I think they serve breakfast later than a lot of the other restaurants in the resort.

Flo’s V8 café as everyone knows is located in Cars Land. It’s fashioned after a 50’s diner and as always, Disney has yet again built a beautiful addition that ties in seamlessly with the cars land theme. The two stars are for that alone. This review happens to be only for the breakfast we had. The one single good plate we ordered was the fruit plate. It was fresh but that’s where the good part ends. Unfortunately I ordered the«American breakfast» plate. It was horrible… at best. If I weren’t starving, I probably wouldn’t have eaten any of it. Usually when your THAT hungry, everything tastes good. Right? Not in this case! Cheap, mass produced, instant eggs is what was served to me. That’s right, I said instant. As for the potatoes… they tasted really strange. And I don’t think they’re supposed to be that soggy either. The bacon was of the cheapest quality. Paper thin and greasy. Come on Disney… Is there any quality control when it comes to some of these restaurants? Does anyone care? I know I’m not dining at Club 33 but seriously! Amusement parks have never been known for their great fast food, but it would be nice if «Disney», a brand synonomous with quality(I think) would do it a little better! Your Fast Food Sector by the way, is your bread and butter. The majority of your patrons are eating there. Note to Disney: When someone goes to a restaurant to eat, it might be pleasing to the eye if the décor is nice, but when you boil it all down, people actually go there to get something good to eat. As far as breakfast goes… Go somewhere else!

Hungry at Disney! This place is located by Carsland. You start with lining up then it breaks into three lines with the guidance of the staff. Limited selection of food, about six dishes for the adults and three for the kids; not including the sides. :Drinks: My daughter and I liked the Iced Green Tea. :Food: I got the Spit-Fried Rotisserie ¼ Chicken($ 11.99) which comes with Mashed Potatoes and assorted vegetables. The chicken flavor was good and the Mashed Potatoes too. I finished everything except for the veggies. The size of chicken was small so there wasn’t a lot of meat. My little one got a side of Mac and Cheese. She didn’t finish it since she wasn’t hungry. :Customer Service: Polite and smiling. :“MeH” Moment: Just a small one but it’s normal especially at Disney. Seating is limited :Rating: I’m giving it 3 Stars. I would come back if I’m craving for chicken. The other dishes wasn’t appetizing to me. :Tip: Seats are limited. There are more seats located inside towards the back. :M’s Notes: ~Inside and Outside Seating
