We arrived 10 minutes before closing time and they stayed open later for us. The asada tacos were amazing with the authentic tortillas and the salsa.

Oh my God, they have the absolute best burritos here. Seriously taste just like the ones my grandma used to make at home with fresh frijoles and tender carne asada with yummy rice and awesome Pico. I crave their burritos on a weekly basis! Still haven’t tried their juices and I think they have aguas frescas too but don’t quote me on that. Seems like based off of their Unilocal everyone loves those too. Can’t wait to go back and try their tortas too! They have probably every torta imaginable and that’s the biggest part of their menu so I’m guessing that’s their specialty. But make sure you don’t leave the house without you Spanish speaking friend because everything on the menu is in Spanish. Hope you guys love it just as much as I did!

The tacos were delicious and just what we had hoped for, we got carne Assad, al pastor and carnitas. The tortillas tasted handmade! The tacos had all fresh ingredients and presented on the plate very well. It was Tuesday taco all day.($ 1.00) we fed 2 adults and two children for $ 20.00. The store was clean and organized and the staff was friendly and more than kind. The cashier went the extra mile for our young children to accommodate their picky needs.

Good service but felt like they did two things to jack up the price. I ordered food and asked for water. They won’t give you water unless you buy it bottled. Secondly they charged 80cents to use a card.

Carne Asada tacos were pretty damn good. They are tiny, I could easily eat 10 of them. I’ll probably go on a Tuesday next time, $ 1.50 was a little high for the size of these tacos(man, I hate writing that — but so many other taco shops in the area). I had the cucumber lime drink, it was great and very large!

A little long on the wait for 4 tacos during the lunch rush. Was not much of a rush with me being the only customer. The wait sucked because of my short lunch schedule, but on the flip side I felt rather good about them taking their time and keeping things fresh. I had a cucumber agua and the guy Yonis(had the kick ass Mustach) I think recommended I mix it with the lemon chia water. Was rather refreshing, You guys need fatter straws. A minor suggestion to a rather fine drink. I had 4 $ 1.00 Taco Tuesday Tacos and I have to say they were very good. I don’t know if thery are claiming that they were home made tortillas but they were on point in flavor and texture. Foldability(is that a word? I don’t know but you don’t want your taco to crack or get soggy. My co-works were like you were you get that yo! Ya that’s how they talk J/K. But we set a date for next Tuesday to go back. If your wondering I had 2 Carne Estrada and two Al pastor. They were really good. I gots to try the rest of the menu yo! I gave them 3 estars because of ascetics. They lost another star in available Aguas only two.

Lots of great fresh aguas frescas; you can mix and match to find your favorite flavor combinations. The staff are friendly and accommodating and I always make a stop here on my way home from Disneyland.

Hand made tortillas for the tacos are amazing, and their cucumber and lime water too. Make sure you’re not in a hurry when you go bc sometimes it takes a little long to be ready. Try also their chamoyadas, is blended mango with large pieces of mango and Chamoy, just delicious.

1 star for the homemade tortillas and location only. Food is whack! No taco plate with rice and beans. Tacos are TINY and they gave me two asada when I asked for one carnitas one asada. Burrito had too much bland rice and beans and the flour tortilla was terrible. Carne asada was dry. No horchata. Aqua Fresca was mediocre if that. Charged me .74 cents to use my card. Says authentic Mexican food, straight lies. Go down the road to Los Chilangos or Tacos El Gallito, both on Lincoln Blvd., for some real Mexican food.

Went here on a Tuesday and ordered carne asada tacos and al pastor tacos for $ 1 each. Both were really delicious! The meat was seasoned perfectly and the size of the meat was perfect(not too big or too small). You can also tell that the corn tortilla is homemade so that’s another plus. I would definitely go here again if I am ever in the area!

There are a lot of positives going for the Green Cactus which focuses on preparing authentic Mexican cuisine using only quality, fresh ingredients while keeping prices very reasonable. All their dishes, and not just their drinks, are made-to-order. The meats are fresh, good quality and taste clean: delicately seasoned and not oily. Their tortillas are handmade fresh and come pipping hot, very moist and delicious. Some of the best Mexican juices and smoothies in town. They have daily specials including $ 1 tacos all day on Tuesdays. Complimentary chips and salsa for dine-in guests. Good hospitality and friendly service. Meat choices include carne asada(beef steak), piernal(grilled pork neck meat), lengua(beef tongue), al pastor(Shepard style pork), pollo(charbroiled chicken) and carnitas(braised pork). Tacos are $ 1.50 each. I felt all the meats needed more seasoning but nothing a generous dab of either their homemade salsa rojas(red sauce) or salsa verde(green sauce) could not remedy. The best offerings at this restaurants are their wonderful selections of jugos(juices), liquados(fruit and milk smoothies) and aqua frescas(combination of fruits, cereals, nuts or seeds with water and sugar). Aqua frescas include the following flavor choices: melon, pineapple, cucumber, watermelon, horchata, tamarindo and jamaica.(S) $ 1.90(M) $ 2.60(L) $ 3.00. Licuados, $ 4.35, flavors include guava, mango, papaya, chocolate milk, banana, coconut, walnut, strawberry Combinados, or a combination of two of the flavor choices, will cost $ 4.59 and $ 5.49 for up to three flavors. I was initially surprised by how steep the prices were but each delicious licuado comes in a huge 25 oz. beer mug. It is creamy, refreshing and well worth the price. Jugo, $ 4.00, flavors include orange, pineapple, apple, carrots, almond, celery and beets. $ 4.60 for two flavors blended together, $ 5.39 for up to three ingredients. Hard to recommend the marginally flavored meats here but clearly the Green Catcus has earned its reputation as one of Anaheim’s premier juice bars. There is nothing average about their good selection of very tasty and refreshing aqua frescas, liquados and jugos.

I’ve gone to this place three times; the agua fresca brings me back. This was my last time though. I ordered two burritos, one carne asada and one al pastor. Oh em gee, I felt like I ordered bean and rice burritos. What meat there was was pretty salty. As for the agua fresca, it’s good but they seem to have the same one whenever I go, lemon with chia seeds and cucumber. I thought they’d have more variety. The portion sizes are pretty small too. Oh, and they charge if you want to use a card.

I did not find the food very good at all. The tortilla were homemade but hard. The meat was room temperature with little flavor. I had the taco Tuesday special. The tacos were $ 1.00, regularly $ 1.50. I can’t imagine paying $ 1.50 for these tiny tacos. The chips were excellent but they gave us a small handful for 2 people. I won’t be returning because there are so many better and cheaper places.
