Mexico Lindo Restaurant

The cleanliness of this place is disgusting. The workers do not wear hair nets, they don’t wash their hands after coughing into them or touching other surfaces. Our waitress literally wiped down a table with a dingy rag and went straight to the back and pulled out some tortillas from a bag to serve with her bare hands, never having washed them in between. The staff are constantly pulling chips and other munchies off of plates and eating while they’re working in the kitchen. One lady is clearly sick to the point that she is taking medicine at the counter but continues to work and prepare food as she coughes and sneezes all over the place. They put the onions, cabbage, etc. on the plates with bare hands and as I’m sure you’ve guessed by now, without having washed them. This is definitely a place the health department should pay a visit to ASAP!!!

This is in my opinion «THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN ORANGE COUNTY» I ordered carna asada fries and I had just had the same exact item at Alberto’s and they were no where near as good as this places. Me and my husband go here almost ever Friday night its DELICIOUS!

Two stars for the free chips and hand made tortillas. The meat on the other hand, was not good at all. I ordered two asada tacos and two al pastor. The asada was too chunky and way too chewy with hardly any flavor. The al pastor meat was ok at best, but were soaked in grease. There was so much grease that the whole bottom of my tray was soaked in it. Needless to say I won’t be coming back which is a bummer since I have yet to find a good taco joint. The search will continue.

Carne Asada Tacos were delicious. Meat was grilled perfection! (Not grizzle or loaded with fat and sinew like Tacos Mexico across the street). Torillas were thick and moist with flavor!

The tacos here are bomb! But the service is the shittiest! I usually come in one or twice a week I’m pretty sure the girl knows me as a regular. Tonight was horrible walked in about 1015pm I was by myself and waited 10 min for the girl to walk over to my table only to ask me if someone had taken my order my answer was no so she walks away and is taking to the lady outside and completely ignores me I waited 5 min and she never came back! Ridiculous! They opened up a new taco place on the other corner behind Taco Bell place is called Tacos Mexico and service is way better girls are super nice and super quick! Try them out!

I had a bad experience the next time I came.
While the food is good, the service is horrible.
I came with my girlfriend one next and paid with my card to which they have a $ 1 surcharge. We asked the girl for 6 tacos and she came back with 4 and said she charged me for 4. It was her mistake, but she then again charged me another $ 1 surcharge because she messed up.
I know it seems petty to complain about $ 1 but when I brought it to the woman’s attention she was very rude about it saying she «had to» even though she made the mistake. She wouldn’t sell me anymore tacos if I didn’t pay the stupid $ 1 fee. I just thought it was BS is all.

Authentic Mexican food and Mexican prices. You order first then pay at the cashier. Tried their carne asada taco. Also good for their mexican drinks. Ultimate test is their salsa sauce which passed.

OMG so my co worker referred me here and I’ve seen this place when I’m in the area. I’ve read all the negative Nancy comments about customer service. And quite honestly, from the moment my bf and i and 2 other groups walled in. We’ve been promptly waited on by two servers.
Food: dam we orders the asada tacos burrito mojado, corn quesadilla and passole with chicken.
Holy cow its HUGE DELICIOUS PORTIONS.
you must try this place and give it a shot. Yeah if they have a lot of people I’m sure service is tight but COME ON. Its like that everywhere you go.

I would of gave a 4. food was great.
But we were the only people there and it took over 15 minutes to get a few tacos… I was super confused and bummed cuz the food was pretty good!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Do NOT Go there. Only giving a one star because I can’t leave it blank…
We came in a Friday night for a late night dinner. We arrived at 11:15pm ordered tacos (which looked awesome btw). We sat down to wait while our order was being made. We saw other people after us ordering and receiving their food. I asked about our order twice and was told it was coming. They confused our order twice (asking if we were Mario or Betty; which is neither our names) until they looked at our receipt. By then it was 11:50pm and two ladies went to double check our order with the guy making the tacos outside. one of then came back to tell us «I’m sorry, can I take your order again?» I told her we wanted our money back. she returned the exact change and simply said sorry. Not even offered free dinner for the next time. We left at 12:05am! 50 minutes with no food, RIDICULOUS! Be warned!

I wanted to try this place out after seeing on the news that a waitress was recently run over by a bunch of dine and dashers (video footage was crazy!). I go shooting at an indoor range down the street from here, so after I was thinking maybe this might be a good place to grab some food and they could use the business… boy was I wrong. It was one, if not the worst, dining experiences I’ve had at a Mexican restaurant in terms of food and service. The waitress was so inattentive that I probably could have walked out and left without paying myself (not that I would).
I arrived with a friend just after 9PM and there’s just one couple dining there. There was one waitress who was eating at a table by the front counter, two people cooking out front and at least two people from what I can tell in the back of the restaurant. We sit down and peruse the menu for a little bit. I order the chili verde plate and a pineapple agua fresca while my friend orders a carnitas torta and strawberry agua fresca. It takes a few minutes for her to get our drinks from out in front of the restaurant. The waitress then comes back a little later and says they are out of carnitas, so my friend looks at the pictures above the counter and orders a carne asada plate instead. We wait a little longer and then the waitress brings out the carne asada plate and carnitas torta they didn’t have, but not what I ordered. She takes the torta back to the kitchen without giving my my friend any utensils. Other people come in to order while my friend’s food is getting cold in front of him. He has to walk up to the counter to ask the waitress to bring him utensils. Meanwhile, I’m still waiting for my food to arrive. People who come in and sit down after us who ordered tacos from out front are getting served their food.
After about 15 more minutes pass, my chili verde plate arrives. The meat in it came in the form of dry, crispy brown and black strands. How is that even possible? I’ve eaten a lot of chili verde and this is probably the worst rendition I’ve had. It’s supposed to be slow-​cooked and stewed in tomatillo sauce until its tender. Did they re-​use the meat from the carnitas torta and just pour some green sauce on it? Suffice it to say, I didn’t finish it. My friend said his carne asada was like beef jerky and the rice that accompanied both plates was also salty and dry, while the re-​fried beans were forgettable. Once I got home, I had to drink a bottle of water to re-​hydrate since I couldn’t get the waitress to come by the table to ask for a refill.
This is one establishment I can not recommend and suggest you avoid.

Great tacos but horrible service. Waited for over 10 minutes to order with no one in line and we were ignored multiple times. Multiple times they didn’t respond and simply gave us a hand signal. I spoke in English and they ignored me so I switched to Spanish and they pretended not to hear. Horrible place.
Food was good but not worth the bad service.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

Poor service, kinda dirty place. Tacos were ok, they were a bit greasy.
I found that the person making the tacos are way more kind and friendly than the actual waitress. Who were kinda rude when I asked for water I could see that she didn’t wash her hands after sweeping and kept on graving her hair i Couldn’t even drink that water. They don’t even have minimum idea of hygiene
