This place is so awesome and they serve such a wide variety of filipino food.(Pictures to come!) I brought my mom here for our weeklyish mother-daughter date and it was pretty empty, but spacious. We got three orders to go and they gave us so much. The people there were super friendly too, so two huge thumbs up for warm customer service and authentic filipino food. Did I mention they serve Chicharon bulaklak? That’s my dad’s favorite and the last time I had that was at the SM mall in the Philippines. :)

This is really amazing filipino food considering it is Buffet and the $ 12 all you can eat is exceptional. Bbq pork cheecherone palobok are all really tasty. This is a small family owned non chain store. Support it well these folks cook really good food that is really affordable

Right after my externship I was looking for some filipino foods to eat. I went to Unilocal to look for the closest place around where I work. The closest place was at the West Ball Road in Anaheim. The place was clean and huge. It was alot of variety foods that you can choose. The foods was good and delicious. Good thing I found this good place because I was dying for some filipino foods. The price was reasonable.

We went to Anaheim for Disneyland and we’ve been eating burger and fries most of the time. As a filipino, we wanted filipino cuisine lol. Searched Unilocal for some filipino food and saw that they have 4 stars and was very close to our hotel so we went to this place. Place is very clean, and they maintain the area very clean. Food is really good! A lot of varieties and very tasty.(We did the buffet) Service is astounding!!! They are very nice and very helpful! Price is very cheap as well! Plus they have filipino channel lol Definitely 5⁄5 experience for me and my family! Highly recommended! If we live around the area we will definitely go back here again! And if we visit socal we will for sure come back here to eat. I wish they have a branch in SF!!!

I was looking for a Filipino food place aside from the usual Jollibee and Chow King so I went to Unilocal and looked over the reviews and thought I would give this place a try. The location is not that far from the Fullerton area, which was great, easy to locate and they have a big sign so u can easily notice them. Restaurant is like a turo turo style. Restaurant is nice and clean. They have some chicherias on the side aside from their usual food which was great, not too overly crowded with grocery items. I got the garlic rice, they still had some left over from breakfast with sisig and langonisa. Liked the way they cooked the langonisa! The sisig was good as well, best one I have tasted was from green hills but this one was good, just had to add a bit more vinegar to give it just a little bit more taste. The price is not bad at all, $ 7 and change for a 2 item combo and kuya hooked it up with how much food he gave! Ate was very friendly and the only reason why I didn’t give it a 5 star was they are short handed on people. They were apologetic for having to wait. Good food and friendly people! I would definitely be back here again! :)

I guess Wednesday is the day to come because there were so many options to choose from today! Two item combo with rice, Pancit or half & half of each is less than $ 8 bucks! Can’t beat that and they hook it up when it comes to portion size. My favorites are the Diniguan, Lechon, Sisig, Chicken Adobo, a few others that I don’t know the names of so I just point and smile :) The buffet is setup similar to Panda Express, where you pick what you want, but they’re build you’re plate for you. It’s not a fancy restaurant so don’t come here expecting table service. Food is served in styrofoam containers and plastic utensils are provided. All good with me as long as the food is good! Also, there’s tons of snacks, drinks & desserts in the refrigerators on one side of the restaurant. Credit cards are accepted.

This place used to be by my house and then they moved. Inexpensive and delicious. my coworkers and I shared the following: Sisig, Kare Kare, Adobo, Bistek and Turon — too much food for 3 but we wanted to try everything lol Bistek was a little too salty but mixing it with the white rice balanced it well!

Reminds me of home in Covina: TFC playing in the background, Filipino rice cakes & treats, yummy homecooked meals. Loved the lechon & kare kare.

Bought 6 different type of food & they’re all COLD! I wonder how long it’s been sitting there. I don’t think I’ll recommend this place. Awful!!! Doesn’t even deserve 1 star!

This place was inexpensive, clean, and delicious! They had plenty of BBQ, the pancit was fresh, and the turon was crispy and perfect. I would definitely come here for catering or to bring friends and coworkers who have never had Filipino food before. BESTOFALL, GREATSERVICE! The ladies were kind and hospitable.

Delicious food straight out the fryer. Everything here is fresh. This Filipino buffet will quench your cravings for traditional Filipino food. The only reason it is not 5 stars is because there is no system in place for where the line starts and some of the food is hard to reach.

Great Filipino food. The place is modern and clean. The service was excellent and the food tasted fresh and good. The price was just right, not too expensive. They give you a good serving of the dishes… I would recommend the all you can eat buffet. The food as so good we ended up eating more than what the all you can eat price cost… Lol! Recommended foods: The beef steak, pork blood dish, bilobilo, garlic rice and Sarsi. They actually had Sarsi in the bottle, awesome!!! Food that was okay: Mongo — too watery, didn’t like the bitter mellon in it. Sisig — needed to have pork with less fat and pieces cut smaller. We needed to add vinegar to it to make it better. Fried Bangus — too plain needed more seasoning /marinate. Loved that they were open for breakfast. Would definitely recommend to others and we would eat here again.

Song Parody #512 Review 1,335 Unilocal 1002015 Review #88 I dream of crispy feet, and I did not see crispy feet here today. I came here with Chel R of GLOY and Niki S, after receiving a tip from Maila H about this place. I had a bite of all my favorite dishes except for Crispy Pata, they had none on this Sunday. The food had a good taste to it, whereas I felt the seasoning in every bite. The food was warm and reasonably fresh for a buffet style. You pay after the meal? That was unique. Service was okay, if you have questions, go ask them. The tables filled up fast, so you need to scope one out. The parking was easy. The area was quite, mostly residential. No Pata today, well, next time… Song parody of SWV’s 1993 song«Weak» How I love those feet that are so crispy And they cause me to be in such a hungry way Whatever they put, when you cook, what they’re stewing I can feel it and I want to taste When my heart is dreaming Pata time With sexy thoughts of you, on my mind I can’t figure out, if there’s a cure When my heart is set on you I get so weak at the knees from your crispy feet I lose all control and Pata takes over me On my plate, Maganada! Amazing, Pata all day I want you to stay with me And some rice Kare if you like I bow at your feet «Ikaw ang lahat sa akin» I can’t explain why I love your crispy feet Dressing or lime or sauce, theres no disguising The flavor is on, I keeps me holding on My diet goes down, when you are in my face In love with Pata, I don’t want to be alone When my heart is dreaming Pata time With sexy thoughts of you, on my mind I can’t figure out, if there’s a cure When my heart is set on you I get so weak at the knees from your crispy feet I lose all control and Pata takes over me On my plate, Maganada! Amazing, Pata all day I want you to stay with me And some rice Kare if you like I bow at your feet «Ikaw ang lahat sa akin» I can’t explain why I love your crispy feet I try hard to diet Pata, I can’t deny it I love your feet It makes me want to eat I get so weak at the knees from your crispy feet I lose all control and Pata takes over me On my plate, Maganada! Amazing, Pata all day I want you to stay with me And some rice Kare if you like I bow at your feet «Ikaw ang lahat sa akin» I can’t explain why I love your crispy feet

I’ve been a big fan of Filipino food ever since I first tried it during med school, and was excited to try out an AYCE place! MJ’s Pinoy Fiesta offers combo plates(rice or rice/pancit with one to two dishes) a la carte or the all-you-can-eat buffet option for $ 10.99. The vast majority of diners were Filipino, so you know this place is legit. The interior is simple but it’s about the food. There is also a handful of Filipino snacks, sweets, and refrigerated goods for sale. My mom and I opted for the AYCE option so we could try more things. I was ecstatic to be able to have unlimited amounts of my favorites like dinuguan, lechon etc. There were at least 20 different items, and I tried many new dishes during this meal. The turon were extra crispy and delicious with their sugary glaze! The buffet is self-serve, and if there is anything behind the counter which you can’t reach, just ask one of the many friendly servers for help. I believe there is a two-hour time limit. I finished my meal with a very satisfying halo halo(not included in the buffet). I think this place is a bargain; the combo plates are all under $ 10, and the AYCE buffet is a great value if you want variety and a lot of food without spending too much money.

Unilocal Challenge 2015. 95⁄365 AYCE Filipino food, located on Ball in Anaheim in the same lot as The Lemon Twist. This once Anaheim Hills chain moved to West Anaheim offering the only filipino AYCE toro– toro style feast that is best served at lunchtime. By 6:00pm a lot of the choices are long gone, with no plan to start cooking more. Disappointed since they were open 2 more hours. The beef steak, beef tapa, tocino, turon, garlic fried rice, chicken adobo were all gone and I was sad, very sad and very hungry. Their hot case, where I assume tastey warm treats live, was empty too. The guys I were with thought the food was alright. By the second run, the pancit was gone, and everything else slowly disappearing. By the time we left, a lot of stuff was gone. For those who dont like AYCE, they offer single item and 2 item combos. Lots and lots of traditional pre packaged snacks from garlic nuts, to cheese balls, bbq chips, ect. More snacks than other pinoy places Ive been too. My favorite is the choc-nut candy. So good that I bought 2 packs. Refrigerated drinks were all reasonably-priced. Ice water is off to the side and TVs mounted to keep you entertained. Service was good. The lady apologized that they were out of my favorites and told me to come back at lunch, when they have 30 – 40 items. You can pay first or pay later. Dont worry I counted 7 cameras. 3.5 stars. Will have to update after trying them for lunch. Review #595

I don’t remember the former location containing the initials«MJ.» What does it stand for? Michael Jackson, Mary Jane, Mick Jagger, Monster Jam, or Manila Jeepney? Who knows and who cares? What I do know, is that this Pinoy Fiesta is back in half(not full) effect. They are still adding fixtures to the place, at least that’s what it looks like to me. I won’t post what dishes they offer, since Unilocalers before me have already broken it down perfectly. No surprise they still have the AYCE option(my other half’s fave) for $ 10.99 w/a 2 hr limit lol. Their spread is just a bit wider than Kapit Bahay, Manila Grille, Kainan Sa Kanto and Ellen’s PG. I liked the beef caldereta, pancit bihon, some barbecued pork of sorts and the lechon kawali. Couldn’t enjoy the sisig as it was heavily drenched in vinegar. The lumpias were average. But the turon, goodness gracious – caramelized soOoO gracefully I savored every crisp ounce of it; best part of my supper next to the pancit! What’s new here? Hats off to their air conditioning unit wherever it resides. The old location had industrial fans, no a/c; you could break a sweat there in summertime. Servers/workers appeared hard working. What sucks here? 12 oz soda cans cost $ 1.50 each. Fail. No menu board behind the counter/on the wall yet. I wonder if they will sell halo-halo here again too. I like that this place is cleaner, contemporary and yet still the same.
