Disgusting! Taste like I just ate a bowl of crap. I feel like throwing up now. The beef isn’t fresh at all and most of my meat are all burnt from recooking over and over. I will never eat this place again. My kids took a couple of bites and spit them out. Two thumbs and toes down!

Finally tried this place after how many years of passing by it to go to my dad’s house. I can’t believe I overlooked this hole-in-the-wall gem. Staff is very friendly. Food came out quick. Easy to order. And food tastes amazing! Had the #7 chicken combo with fried fish, and I love how they add extras in there like salad, a gyoza and a veggie egg roll. This combo was so big, that it was good for 3 people. The only thing that was a small nuissannce for me was that they didn’t include and kind of sauce for the fried fish, or for the egg roll and gyoza. But that’s only a minor irritation.

The only thing that matters is the food and truth is its great I’ve tried all the items on the menu and I love it yes the indoors sucks but its more of a to go place the portions are good for the price, and the food is awesome good ratio of meat to rice they don’t skimp out on the meat chicken isn’t dry even though it’s charbroiled the beef is tender and the seafood is great I sometimes do get a shitty employee but the food is worth it

i just had the worst meal ever!!! i decided to try them for the first time in about 10 years and i wish i hadn’t! i ordered the #4 — chicken & beef combo. total $ 8.10(cash only) and the chicken and beef are both burned/charred and dried out!!! the goyza was dried out and old!!! wth!!! i was there at the end of the lunch rush and this should have all been fresh and not burnt and dried out!!! no excuse for this! Totally inedible… I ate a little of the rice, but the meat was so burnt and dry I couldn’t eat it… the salad was wilted and the spring roll was probably the best past if there is any positive to be given to the epic fail of a meal. I wish I could add a picture of my meal so you could see how burnt the meat was.

Their food is always hot and fresh. Simple but good. Sometimes over crowded. The Teraki bowls are awesome, but then again so are their combo plates. Great take out place.

Better than flame broiler, sometimes the chicken is over cooked.

Restaurant is dirty and smokey because there is no ventilation for the grilling stove. They only accept cash but so do a lot of other places. Seating areas are unclean and limited. They did not have lettuce so the salads that should have come with plates were not included, instead they gave us 1 extra egg roll. But they failed to mention that they had no lettuce left until after we received our order. Man taking order was rude and rushed us. Our experience was unpleasant but I’m sure other people like it.

Food is good, restaurant is dirty and the menu is basic. If you are looking for a quick review, there you have it. Now for those looking for more in depth review here we go. It is true, the food is pretty inconsistent, but it always pretty good. I have been here where the food is burned and you get a major char flavor. The menu has about 8 items total, which makes ordering pretty easy. Also everything comes in three sizes: small, medium or large. The restaurant is dirty and smokey, you have been forewarned. I dont think there is much else to say about it other then that. CASHONLY!

Great, tasty charbroiled both chicken and beef are good. We always pay a dollar extra to get double the amount of meat, just a hint you might want to too. YOUHAVETOPAYCASH… be forewarned. Askf or extra sauce. Yum.

I use to come here years ago when I worked at cypress college. I came back the other day and it still tastes really good. Not the fanciest place but food is always good.

Fast, friendly staff. The food is always good. I’ve Been coming for years and I gotta say, the food is always great. I wish their speaker to order worked because sometimes there’s a line & it would be quicker to get my food but because the food is good, I wait 15mins sometimes for my food. All in all, if you’re looking for really good quality food, this is the place, just plan on waiting a little bit to get your food.

I’ve gone to this place once and a while if I felt lazy to go to Flame Broiler or Waba Grill. Food: The food here can be a little inconsistent sometimes. Sometimes burnt, sometimes undercooked, and sometimes perfect. The food has a very basic menu, Teriyaki(Chicken, Beef, Pork) and some Seafood choices(Fried Fish, Shrimp, Scallops). Quality wise it’s okay, if the food wasn’t cooked so inconsistently it would be great to be honest. Service: Very friendly workers, the place seems a little dirty though. The interior and exterior of the place isn’t that great. It kinda makes you think twice of you wanna eat there if it’s your first time. Price: Prices average from $ 6 – 7 on a Bowl, and Combos are on average $ 9 – 10

There are few times in my life where I’ve ever eaten something begrudgingly; this is one of them. After driving by and smelling the delicious air, my wife and I stopped by. I ordered chicken and fried seafood. To spare my thumbs, long story short, the only reason I ate the whole thing was because I paid 10 bucks. It was burnt, way too salty, and otherwise completely lacking flavor.

YESSS! My new go-to for Teriyaki bowls. This place knows what’s up. Fresh, hot, saucey and charred meat and chicken in generous portions. Always yummy and the people there are friendly. Cash only, but they do have an ATM, and who cares about the neighborhood or the restaurant itself. It’s not Nobu people, it’s a simple carry out place with some deceptively good food!

Nothing special about this place. If it was located in Idaho… Mayyybe. But this is just a couple miles away from some much tastier Americanized Japanese food joints, including Monkey Wave and Kush Bowl. I can’t believe this is rated 4 stars. Come on peeps. I’m eating the food right now and my tongue is insulted by that number. The chicken is a little over cooked. Not tender and juicy like at Kush or Monkey. The beef is even worse. As I eat the beef, the word ‘beef jerky’ pops into my mind. Ok. So it’s two words. I thot it was one until my iPhone auto corrected it into two.(I’ll leave a scathing review about my iPhone autocorrect next.) There are no Japanese peeps in this place. ‘Nuff said. Bring on the next restaurant! I’m outa here.

First time here, always passsed by so it was due time to try it out. My order took a while to get. I notice a customer who came 10 min later, ordered something, and left with his food. I was wtf o.O. The cashier guy noticed, apologized and gave me a free drink, which was pretty cool; I appreciate how well they handle and caring for customers. Food quality was pretty good. Was a lot too; I could split it in half, one for lunch, one for dinner. Will repeat my business here when there’s no homemade dinner at home.

Short and sweet, a great place to eat(makes Flame Broiler seem like Lame Boring)! The chicken and beef is cooked in a high quality and tasteful manner(I don’t eat pork – but I’m sure it’s very well done). The rice is moist and an excellent side. If you order a combo, they come with a dumpling and egg roll – you will truly enjoy them. Their salad has an excellent dressing along with fresh lettuce. The teriyaki sauce adds a delightful taste to your entrée(I always add Tapatio to it). Mos – tasty food for a fair price with excellent service in a simple location. Go there once and you’ll go back again(and again)!!

Craving for some teriyaki today. Mos No 2 hit the spot. I was going to a store with my son, but by the time we got there he was asleep. Since I was parked & starving, I looked up Unilocal to find a place with a drive thru, that’s not fast food. Bingo. Mos No 2, was less than a mile away. I ordered a chicken & pork teriyaki combo. It’s not on the menu, but they said it wasn’t a problem. I’m glad they allowed it because the pork teriyaki was so so good. I know I’m partial to pork, but man was it cooked perfectly. The slightly char on the meat made it for me. The chicken teriyaki was also good. With skin of course. The fat from the chicken gave it that extra flavor. They gave me an extra(small) container of teriyaki sauce but it did not need it. The combo came with A green salad with I think it was Italian dressing, not sure, was just okay. An egg roll with a meat filling — also just okay. A gyoza — this I would order again, very good & fried perfectly. Everything they had on their menu was $ 8 or less, very reasonable. My only disappointment was that I saw a picture of their menu and it had a combo of chicken teriyaki & fried oyster. That was an old menu. They replaced the oyster with scallop. I came because I saw the fried oyster. Oh we’ll. Notes: cash only & watch out for the big pot hole exiting the drive thru. Good teriyaki. I’ll definitely be back

YUMYUM! Remember when Flame Broiler use to taste more tasty and more unhealthy and grubby? This is pretty much the same. I will def come back here for the fast and quick service, with good food, and great price! Good Job Mos for being close to my gym too!
