No, I have never given them my email address. No, I have no business relationship with this company.
No I have never taken a course from this company. No I did not sign up to be on your spam list. No, I did not sign up for any subscription from your company.
So where did you get my email address?
Very low class. There is not the slightest chance I will ever get any business to this company.

Have had nothing but great experiences here at New Horizons. The classes start early, but that helps avoid traffic. They offer many different kinds of training and are always professional & thorough. I have enjoyed working with Mahsa throughout the process and look forward to working with her and New Horizons in the future. I will be recommending new Horizons to my colleagues, friends and family.

The access class I took was great. I was able to take the live class from my home office. It was very interactive. I also have the archived class to review at a later point. (Which I will need)
I will be calling my rep for a sql class.

NH is a great place for training. They offer online or at location training. Class material is avaviable to you for up to 6 months.
Cristina Faraone is a wonderful account executive. She is on top of it, contacting you when new classed are up and coming and helping find the time frame to attend.

Great place for continuing educatiom, lots of resources and great instructors. Thanks for referring me here Mahsa. Will be looking forward to the opportunities to grow. The support from the friendly staff is an added bonus to it all.

There is not enough actual training to obtain certification. The books (only digital) and training are only a «highlight» of the subject.
You would do better by going online and search for training manuals for the subjects that you are interested in. This would be a WHOLE lot cheaper and you would have an actual book that is complete and it can be used for future reference.
11/​09/​2015: New Horizons will be obtaining better course training manuals for me and better exam preparation tests. The combination of both of these will be very helpful for me to obtain the three certifications needed.

Run!!! Don’t look back. The classes are fine. All remote and sometimes the class times are inconvenient. But teachers, lessons and practice material good. However, their claim that they will support you afterwards in job placement is a load of garbage. Don’t believe it. You get nothing other than a sorry excuse for a website with jobs posted, I’m not sure why they think anyone would use their pathetic website when much better ones exist. They sell you in this «we have connections to industry and can help with transition into your first job» lie. It’s the only reason I was willing to go with them, because they are expensive. They’re nice to you only in the sales phase, once you’re in, good luck getting help from them without an attitude. In my case, it was help fixing something they mixed up… wow!!! There are much more affordable places which will give you the same results, lessons and material and testing AND THAT’S IT.

Just finished a 3-​day training course, and I would recommend NH to anyone looking for technical training. The coffee is free now! Thank you NH staff. Well it’s weak but free. Plus it’s a classy location with The Big A in their front yard!
Only negatives: The training room chairs are not so good. Bring a cushion if that would bother you. And there’s a big stain on the hallway carpet that I had to step over for all 3 days. What, your janitors too busy? I could understand if it was shaped like Zig Ziglar’s head or something.

Don’t go there to take an exam, the staff there laugh and talk it up like it’s happy hour at a local bar.
During a timed certification exam I had to stop and leave the room to ask them to keep it down; instead of an apology for being so loud, they asked me if I wanted earplugs. How rude is that?

Traffic is crazy. Come early!!!

Great learning experience at New Horizons (NH). I recommend NH and here is why:
NH is located in an upscale section of Orange, in a well appointed corporate building with a spacious dining area and large very well-​kept restrooms
The staff and employees are super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful
Career counseling and job opportunities are available
Small training groups help assure individual attention
All the classrooms sport dual monitors so that you can work along and apply what you are learning on one screen to the other
Relevant and current version programs are offered such as Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt, Green Belt and Master Black Belt), Project Management, Adobe Certified, lots of IT certifications such as Microsoft SQL Server 2012, Crystal Reports, ITIL, Red Hat and Cloud Computing, just to mention a few. Oh, there is even a course called Ethical Hacker, how cool
The course delivery modality is fitting for busy professionals who want to learn or upgrade skills quickly and use them right away
I recently completed the three day Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training with the highly regarded Master Black Belt Tracy O’Rourke. Her delivery was stellar as she shared her numerous experiences with Fortune 500 and small businesses
Ed Vasko provide the training for the five day Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB). Another fabulous, highly experienced instructor who shared important inside tips on how be a successful LSSBB. Ed’s experience in hospitals provides a myriad of opportunities for hospital leadership to learn more about quality management in a healthcare setting
If you are on unemployment check with your One Stop Center as many of these courses may be covered at no cost to you

The classrooms and mentored learning labs are clean, very high speed internet (thank you) and offers a peaceful yet resourceful, place to learn.
I took the PMP one week prep course and loved it. I am scheduled to take the exam in a month and feel very confident I will be passing.
After the PMP course, I moved on to the lean six sigma green belt (three day course) taught by a fabulous instructor, Tracy O’Rourke. This was a very dynamic class and taught me the basics about the subject. I passed the exam so I moved on to the black belt course.
The one week black belt course was taught by Mr. Ed Vasko. What a gem of a teacher. The subject matter of lean six sigma was further expanded in this course. My classmates were just as enthusiastic about the subject, making this course a very special memorable one. We even had a potluck at the end of the week– 100% collaboration and excited about subject. I passed the exam, so now I am just working on my 60 day project– this project is required to earn my black belt.
Additionally, I have signed up for the Excel, MS Project mentored learning course. The delivery is professional and explained very well. I like that is is self paced, that has given me the time to practice in the worksheets and re-​examine the same topic as many times as I need.
I can highly recommend that New Horizons Computer Learning Center has hit the mark in developing a learning environment that deliverers the expected outcomes. A sure value for your time and money– you will not be disappointed!!!

Great location, staff are really friendly and love the way that they train.

I was told that after taking a class, I could retake it as many times as I wanted to prepare for the certification exam. When I came to retake the class, I was told I could only retake a class within six months, and I was sent away.

Staff can be aggressive when they know you have MS vouchers. We’ve only used their Mentor Learning options, as I can’t spare my staff for 3 to 5 days off at a time.
With mentor learnng you go straight to their lab (front desk pretty much ignores you), check-​in, and then choose a station to work at. You login, schedule your next session, then start working on your current assignments.
I found the courses had about 20% content that I was interested in, the rest of the time the recorded Microsoft guru would say, «SOooooo, now…» We’ve taken Win 7 planning and deployment, Win7 Enterprise support, Sharepoint, Exchange and a few others. We will continue to use them as we have MS Vouchers, but being I.T. we wouldn’t have budget for training if we didn’t.

The Good: This is a good place to go and take some computer classes. They might no be the best but enough for you to understand the concept and learn on your own. Classrooms are newish and have everything you need to learn. Plenty of parking, right next to Angel Stadium.
The Bad: They used to have free coffee, times are tough I guess.
The Ben: Solid place to learn and maybe get a certificate in some technical classes.

People here are so helpful! They even have a career counselor to help guide or direct you to the right resources necessary to get you to the next step. She was so helpful and sweet! =)
Company train their staff and employees at New Horizons around the nation. Probably because they have awesome resource centers! Not only are you trained in a small room, theres computer labs with duel screens! Thats so you can actually apply what you’re learning from in the other screen.
On the other side, they also offer their classes to those that qualify for the program… unemployment and such. Go to One-​Stop Center to see if you qualify.
I can’t believe the selection of classes they offer!!! Project Management, Six Sigma? Normal MS, Adobe classes… but also programmer, network admin classes and Ethical Hacker? neat!
Parking: Free in the lot behind it. If there’s a ball game, just let them know you’re visiting New Horizons.
Description: Big Black Building Structure near nice apartments, right by the Angels Field Parking Lots. This place is near The Block. It has its own light to turn into, so don’t get confused.

Just got out of training with basic excel. Clearly, I needed more advance instruction but its required at my work to start off with basic (ihate being smart). Great instructor, Mr Ron Marsh was professional, got thru the lesson with everyone still on board, and was (can I say this) entertaining. 8 hour long course didn’t feel like one. Gave lots of quick key tips that i will be sportin at work soon. Two breaks, hour lunch and plethora of knowledge. NHCLC has lots of other courses and I am interested in taking more. Great resource for training your workforce.
