This place is the closest phở place to me, so its kind of the go to place for me. The phở broth is pretty good, and the spring rolls are filling. The other dishes are pretty good as well. Not the best place I have ever been to, but I will be going back as long as they remain open.

Not the cleanest establishment, but it is big and roomy but If your looking for ambiance and good vibes on a restaurant, not this place. but if you want a good PHO soup for takeout with a Lightning service, this is the place. After waiting 3 minutes the food I ordered was ready. I was told that they were known to be quick. The«Phở’ It’s authentic. The flavors come together just right and the noodle texture is a treat and not to mention the portion size is HUGE. I like this place. At first i was not sure because many years ago I went and it was not good. I gave it another chance and my boyfriend and I have gone 4 times! It’s good and closer than going to GG. Though GG has many awesome places. The Phở is good and tasty here!

This place is OK, service here is semi-horrible. I only go here because it’s down the street from where I’m at and sometimes it beats driving all the way down to Garden Grove where all the good Phở is at.

It’s called Top Noodle now. The food isn’t bad and the prices are good. Just the waitresses look busted and tired and are actually kinda rude. Like girl I know it’s not your dream to be here but at least do it with a smile on your face. I’m paying for what I’m having. It’s your job, do it with a lil more enthusiasm

I signed up for Unilocal JUST to write about this god awful place. If I could give it no stars, I would rather do that. I used to come here regularly, I haven’t been in about 6 months, went today and the food & service were TERRIBLE. We were seated, then a different and VERYRUDE waitress came and barked«Yo ordah!» At us. Not, «Are you ready to order?» or even something less rude. We ordered a appetizers, then she never came back. 20 min later she came with our rolls and we had to catch her from running off to take our orders. Also, there were 2 waitresses and ONLY4 tables with customers, none with big parties, they were running back to the kitchen and were on their phones. Another 30+ minutes later, I flagged down a waitress(and I was a waitress for years, I know how demeaning it is &NEVER do it but no waitress was going to ANY table to check on it), a different waitress because ours had been MIA for almost 30min, and ordered coffee. I specifically said we would like 2HOT coffees. She wasn’t listening, I repeated myself, she barked«ok» even though I knew she wasn’t listening AGAIN, so once more as she was leaving, I specified hot coffee. 15+minutes later, I finally get my coffee. 2ICED coffees. I told her I specifically ordered hot(I just got a filling so cold anything is HELL!!!), she told me no, I didn’t. I told her«I’ve been here an hour & a half now, my waitress hasn’t come by at all again, you’ve been rude, she was rude, the food was absolutely godawful, take these coffees off my check and bring to my table immediately. I need to go.» The people behind me even leaned over to me & said«I heard you say hot.» 10+ minutes later, NOCHECK!!! I went to the counter and asked for it, she LITERALLY shoved it at me. I looked at it & pointed out she STILL hadn’t taken off the coffees she got wrong. Another 10 minutes later, our original waitress slams down the check in it’s little plate & walks away. Luckily I had cash and left exactly what I owed & that was it. I ALWAYS tip at least $ 5 even for a coffee at Starbucks because I know how hard service people work & the shit they take from customers. But *WE* were getting shit from the waitresses from the second we walked in!!! The food. Oh dear god the food. The phở tasted like Top Ramen boiled in the contents of a woman’s douche. And for some reason REEKED of spicy, obnoxious cinnamon. Similar to the obnoxious cinnamon scented brooms that are sold around the holidays? That noxious of a fume. The beef balls & *RARE* steak were too chewy to eat. We just chewed & chewed & the massed just kept changing shape. The noodles were not fresh, they were dissolving and sticking together like 1−2day old noodles do. Our spring rolls, we ordered shrimp AND pork and got shrimp ONLY, we soggy and warm. EW! The lettuce were wilted and they were not crunchy at all. This place is terrible. Go ANYWHERE else but here. The food is awful, the service is worse, AND they didn’t comp A SINGLETHING for the terrible experience. There wasn’t even a manager on duty in the restaurant! Run. Run from this restaurant.

I used to live in the apartments across the street from this phở place. Usually I don’t have a problem parking here, but I would expect to. They have about 6 – 8 slots of parking, and once you walk in, the restaurant is a typical phở restaurant. I always get their fatty brisket with meatball, size large with a diet coke. Their prices are like any other phở restaurant, for my large I pay $ 6. Their phở is 2 stars, mediocre. The only reason why I’m giving 3 stars is because of their delicious Marble Cake that they sell on the side to their phở for $ 2.00−2.50. That is some bomb marble cake, and I love anything with the word«marble» in it. It’s creamy, yet very light, with the perfect amount of sweetness. I don’t like my desserts TOO sweet, just the right amount of sugar without almost having a heart attack. Last time I was here, I just ran in to get their desserts and left without purchasing anything from their actual menu. They seemed polite and pleased that I was there for their desserts.

I used to go here somewhat regularly when I lived in Anaheim. I still drop by occasionally and order to go. I’m a creature of habit, so I always get the fried eggrolls and the phở w/brisket. Sometimes if I eat in I’ll get iced jasmine tea, Thai iced tea, or a melon shake, which are all tasty. Service is quick and friendly. Prices are good, and they sometimes run happy hour specials, etc. It’s not so good to go out of your way for, but definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area!

Was in Anaheim this past weekend to play at the mouse house and was looking for something hot, delicious and satisfying after a drive from Vegas. Passed this place as I was heading to the hotel to check in and decided to give it a shot. Oodles of Noodles(or Top Noodle… what the heck IS the name of this place anyway??) got 3 for 3: hot, delicious and satisfying. I ordered the phở with charbroiled pork. The pork came on the side which I was really happy with because then I could eat that delicious goodness plain. Lots of noodles, tasty broth, fresh add-ins…it was all good! Ordered the regular and I couldn’t finish it(although I made sure to eat ALL the charbroiled pork!) Also, I was impressed with the Thai iced tea; first time I’ve ever had it where they served it with whipped cream on top rather than just mocha mix… YUM! Really liked it so much that I returned the next day with the man after having overpriced junk food at the park. Mmmmm! He’s happy because he has to come up to Anaheim quite a bit for work and now has a reliable phở joint to hit.

The food is decent. But allow me to rave for a moment about the coconut smoothie with boba. RAVE. So freaking delicious. End rave. It’s okay. I only find phở to be okay in general. The waitress was nice, the atmosphere was nice, I even liked the papier mache palm tree in the corner. The place is ok.

Yay local phở near work, cute. So much sunlight and cheap phở! Definitely a great local place to eat your work lunch at, because you get plenty of sunlight! Parking: Theres enough around it. Restaurant is on its own so its not in a plaza or anything. They have a very interesting outdoor patio area too, but don’t think anyone eats at it. Food: Meh, I mean you’re not in Westminster/Garden Grove or 626 area. Its decent but they definitely give way too little meatballs, tendons or just meat. Soup is decent and noodle are whatevers too. Would I come here again? YEAH I would! Still pretty good place near my work place. I love light lunches. Phở is like $ 5, so its still a cheap place to eat at.

A good stand in for phở and Vietnamese in northern Anaheim. The staff is extra friendly and portions good. Phở is better for dinner as the broth has had time to come to full flavor. Other good meals: Com Ga Su Su is great — hand pulled chicken with ginger in a clay pot. Piping hot and great for fall and winter days. For a liter fair their Bun is good too. They also have fresh Sin To. great milk shakes with fresh fruit.

I was torn between 3 and 4 stars for this place. On the positive side — the restaurant is nice-sized, clean, the servers and owners are very friendly, and parking is easy. There is a new patio that gets a nice breeze in the summer and it’s a legit choice, because the inside isn’t air-conditioned anyway. I had the phở with rare steak and beef balls and the tofu eggrolls, both of which were great. Oodles of Noodles is not a misnomer. After meticulously counting each noodle in my bowl, I compared it to the conversion chart and BEHOLD! — 1.67 oodles of noodles. Truth in advertising, people. Dig it. On top of that, the regular portion was enough to fill me up, and two bowls of phở, an appetizer, and a glass of tea came in at under $ 16. This is also the rare viet place that actually takes cards with no surcharge, hooray. Welcome to the 20th century. The restaurant actually has two huge flatscreen televisions hanging from the walls, but they appear to be there for the entertainment of the staff. While we were there, they popped«X-Men» into the DVD and sat around watching and talking and laughing loudly. It didn’t affect the service, but the combination was loud. All that said, to be fair, this is a 3-star place. It’s «A-Ok» as per the Unilocal scale, nothing amazing, but it was good. I decided to give it 4 stars because I really feel the previous reviewers have been too harsh. Normally I don’t care but this time I was inspired to the restaurant’s defense. Take that however you will. Finally, I decided on what to name a phở restaurant that I might open: In a hospital cafeteria — Phở Cough. In an Italian neighborhood — Phở Kyu. In the ghetto — Phở Reals?! Sorry.

Very disappointed with this place. It’s the closest phở place to where I live, but I’d rathe drive to Little Sigon in Garden Grove for better phở. Pros: Location. Close to where I live, so that’s good. Open until about 10pm, which is good, if you are looking for a late meal. Cons: Large bowls, but filled with noodles. Meat portions are small and not filling. Other phở places give you a lot of meats and is very filling. When my wife and I had dinner there, she found a fly in her soup. The owner tried to blame the fly entering her soup on us taking our time to eat. I’m 6’1″ and 220lbs… trust me… I don’t eat slow. They leave the doors open, which in this weather doesn’t help the bug situation. Overall, if you are looking for something quick to eat in the Anaheim area and you happen to pass by, then go for it. If you are willing to drive a bit, GOSOMEWHEREELSE.

It’s nice to find a good phở place! Came here with some friends today, and the food was quite tasty! Pork spring rolls: Great. Wrapped in fresh rice noodles and vegetable, accompanied with a peanut sauce. Shrimp spring rolls: Though not a fan of shrimp, these rolls were rolled fresh! Fried eggrolls: Tasty! For some reason they looked like they were premade, but nevertheless still good and came with all the garnishes! Phở Tai: Got the large bowl: Yes the bowl seemed larger, came with more broth, but not much else. Still seemed like the noodles n beef were a regular order. Nevertheless, still good flavor, clean restaurant, and fairly extensive menu. I’ll be back to ck. out the broken rice plates n other goodies.

I DON’T KNOWWHYYA’LLTRIPPPPIN! This phở place was off the CHAIN yo! hahaha…okay but seriously, it was pretty good, good service, and the phở wasn’t bad! It did what it was intended to do… cure hangovers. LOL. This noodles were perfect and the soup was delicious. Warning: the Regular bowl is kinda tiny… so if you’re SUPER hungry then get the SUPER bowl… HAHHAHAHA. All in all, price is great, service great, and the food GREAT! =) also…the guy thought my and my friend were 18 and 15… I am diggin that! =)

I’m not Vietnamese but I think I’ve had better phở at a Korean owned place. The noodles were good(not stiff, not too soggy) but its the broth that killed the cake — it was almost flavorless. And I think their fried shrimp appetizer made me sick. I was having some serious stomach pangs all night after this dinner. Plus(on top of it all) the price was the same as any other phở I had had but the amount was less — much less. It was an adventure going there and it was fun to try a new place but I wouldn’t go there again. Maybe today was an off day for them…(Feb.24.2009)

Worst phở place ever. Phở didn’t have any flavor. Noodles broke apart super easily. Enough said. Never coming back here ever again.

Mediocre all around. Pros: Moderate price, wide selection of drinks and other Vietnamese foods, good service once you’re sat down Cons: Mediocre phở, the attitude the servers gave us before entering I usually can take a good joke, but sometimes it’s simply not funny. It was around 7:30 pm on a Saturday. The restaurant was pretty easy to find. When my sister and I first arrived here, we drove up to the parking spots right out front. At first, I worried a bit since we realized that we parked in a 30 minute zone. As I mentioned that to my sister walking up to the door, two of the servers outside(taking a break) said out loud, «It’s closed.» My sister and I were slightly startled and started backing up, although the restaurant looked it was open. Perhaps, it was a private party. We started heading back to our car and then one of the servers mumbled, «Just kidding.» We didn’t hear him clearly and started discussing alternative options for dinner. He shouted out a little louder, «I am just kidding! It’s just a joke.» «Oh,» we said and mindlessly went into the restaurant. I didn’t appreciate it as they seemed to enjoy their own personal joke. A friendly elderly host sat us down and it turned out server was the guys sitting outside. My sister and I each ordered phở. Me, a fresh lemonade soda and my sister, a quiche. She loved the quiche. The soda was a bit lacking in flavor. The phở each didn’t have the flavor I expected, but in the end was satisfactory. Not likely to be back.

This place used to be the pizza joint and changed to Chinese express under the new ownership. But it closed within 6 months I guess. Because of the bad location, this place was like dead. Whenever I’m passing by, I’ve been wondering what would be the next. Finally it happened. It’s Phở owned by Vietnamese. They just opened, crowded ever than before. It’s Winter time. people are craving for something that makes you warm and homey. My mom wanted to try it out. On Sunday late lunch, we got there and ordered Appetizer sampler and regular phở w/flank and rare beef. The sampler as well as 4 wrapped shrimps, 2 spring rolls and 4 pork egg rolls, was below the average. I don’t like two dipping sauces — hoisen and thick sweet and sour sauces. Oh. no… it should be creamy peanut sauce and watery sweet and sour sauce. They didn’t even give me lettuce for the egg rolls. Phở. the slice of the meat was too thick. Phở tasted just okay. I can’t find anything special here. price is good, service is okay. Hope they could make the profit in that location since neighbor need the Phở joint near by.
