Ive been to this liquor several times and I dont know what some of the other reviews are referring to when they say the man behind the counter is rude. Every single time I’ve been here he has been very welcoming as well as the woman who works here. They are both very nice people and always give us a little pack of gum or some sort of Mexican candy when we’re leaving, I choose to come here instead of the 711 right next door to it mainly because of the customer services provided here. Sometimes the drinks are a few cents more than they would be at 711 but the welcoming feeling they provide you with is what keeps me coming back.

Very rude old male behind the counter(can’t call him a man). Also a dishonest person. Glad I said it to his face. Do not patronize this store. Asked for one lottery ticket and gave him a five dollar bill. He rang up two tickets on the Lotto machine(for a total of four dollars) and then asked if I wanted to purchase a one dollar California Lotto ticket all saying this with a smile. When I reminded him that I clearly asked for one Powerball Ticket for two dollars only, he looked at me with a «so what» look and attitude. At this point in time I informed him that he was a RUDE and a DISHONEST person. He looked back at me as if to say«tell me something that I haven’t heard a thousand times before.» I was irritated with him in the store, now I feel sorry for him. I hope he gets help.

Pretty impress with the amazing selection of alcoholic beverages they have. Customer service extremely friendly. Way cheaper then 7⁄11.

the guy was extremely rude I won’t be doing business here I asked one question and he gave me a ride answer and why does Unilocal pull this place up as a smoke shop but the guy tells me it’s illegal to sell Dude stop lying that’s how you don’t get customers

Small little liquor store close to home. Kinda dirty and grungy … and right next to the 7⁄11. We picked up a few drinks to bring back home. They have a decent selection of beer and liquor and snacks.

This is my favorite store in the new neighborhood! The owners are just soooo nice. The first time I came in I had to use the atm at the 711 because they only take cash for bus passes. The lady apologized that I had to pay an atm fee and gave me a free soda. The next time she took a doller off the bus pass price because they were out off the thirty day ones. The time after that the man gave me a free piece of candy, just because I was examining it at the checkout. Pros: awesome staff, good hours, bus passes. Cons: Often out of 30 day passes, slightly over-priced like all convenience stores

I know what you’re thinking. 5 star review for a liquor store? I know. I was wondering that too when I read some of the reviews prior to coming here. I had a wedding to attend at the Hyatt nearby and it wasn’t open bar, so of course I had to get ghetto and hit up this liquor store to get me some mini hard liquor bottles. I was very pleased w/their selection. They had everything from Jack Daniels to Makers Mark to Johnnie Walker Black, all of which were cheap to reasonably priced. The sweet lady working the register asked me what I was looking for and even made some great suggestions. When it came to paying, for no reason she gave me a discount on my entire purchase and even threw in a mini pack of gum. This was a small gesture but it went a long way for me. At typical liquor stores I usually am in and out within a few minutes. I never expect awesome service, and so to have some little lady assist me and give me a discount totally stood out. Next time I’m in the hood and need to get ghetto again I’m definitely coming back!

If you don’t mind walking a bit, this place is conveniently located to disneyland(and adjacent hotels) and has pretty reasonable prices. While there are closer liquor stores along Katella, this has the added bonus(at least to me) of being near the only vegan restaurant within walking distance of Disney(that is, Thuyen Vien.) So, if you like to get your vegan eats and beer on, this place makes for a good partner in crime.

Hands down, my favorite liquor store ever, and I never knew I could like a liquor store for reasons besides the liquor. The lady owner is super friendly and remembers me and my boyfriend every time we come in. She remembers what we like to drink and orders it for us so that it’ll be there next time we come, AND she always gives us a little something for free every time. Of course it’s not much, but it’s the gesture and the thought that counts. She is absolutely adorable and her husband is great too! They never fail to put a smile on my face, and I never really expected that from a liquor store.

The cashier is super nice! She seemed really excited to have a customer and wasn’t afraid to have a conversation with me. Since it was my first time at the liquor store, she gave me a little piece of gum. Also, they have MD20⁄20 which gives this place an automatic 5 stars!

So I’m meeting my buddy at his work and I’m feeling like I could use a quick snack so I walk out the office and take a stroll down the street to find this tiny ma and pa liquor store, conveniently located right next to a 7 – 11. However, I choose to walk into this small liquor store even though I know my choices will be limited. The layout is like a 5’x5’ square… hard liquor on the shelves behind the register, beer and soda in the fridge, and a small selection of chicharrones, chips, and candies. I grabbed a limon hot cheetos bag and one of those tamarindo mexican candies. The asian lady at the register smiled and made small talk with me. She asked if I liked mexican candy and I nodded gleefully. She grabbed a few small tamarind candies and a limon salt packet and threw them in my bag. For freeeeeeeeeee! And thanked me for the business. Super cute lady. I will come back just for her!

Very friendly staff/owners. Bonus points for being open on new year’s eve, as opposed to Food 4 Less and Ralph’s which were closed! We stumbled upon this place via attraction of the familiar 7-Eleven sign next door, but P & J Liquor had more variety when it comes to liquor. Only thing is that prices could be better.
