The food is great, always fresh! I have never had bad customer service here and I never have to wait long for my food. Also, the parking hasn’t been a problem for as long as I have been going to this location.

It’s ok… food is good, and healthy, but customer service is bad. The place is clean.

Love the new tofu bowl! I’ve been waiting for something like this for a long time. Tofu is very healthy, but delicious at the same time. Doesn’t leave me feeling greasy like other places. I’m not even vegetarian, this is the only tofu-based dish I will order. I highly recommend!

I know that flame broiler doesn’t specialize in customer service but the employees should at least pretend they’re happy to be there. The food is a little bit mediocre, I definitely had better. If I’m paying for quality I expect quality. I did not get that at this location.

The customer service at this establishment sucked. When I received my order I asked the lady why my serving size on a regular chicken bowl is less than the serving size on my sons mini bowl. She replied with«if you don’t like the serving size why don’t you buy extra meat. Because that’s what it comes with.» How does a mini bowl have more chicken than a regular bowl. No logic.

As we walk in the cashier is in a fight with a customer over who knows what with both parties using profanity. The inside of the restaurant is filthy. Just watched someone come in and wait to order for 5 minutes before he finally left to go somewhere else. I love Flame Broiler, but will never be back to this location.

As noted by other reviewers, parking here is bad. There are only 3 spots in front, shared by 3 businesses. There is some parking way in back, but there is also a bar back there that can get a little shady, especially at night. There is a homeless population that hangs out at the corner, and sometimes in back. The place itself is usually clean. However, there are never more than two employees, one at the register and one cooking, so if something spills or runs out, it can take awhile to address. The bowls are ok. When they first opened, they piled on the meat. Now it’s more rice, less meat. My last chicken bowl had a hefty piece of bone in it. Fortunately, I felt it in my mouth before biting down. There is a Yogi’s close by that seems to do a consistently better job, with less parking hassle.

The food is mediocre. I feel like I can easily make all of this at home. It’s supposed to be a healthier alternative so it’s nice that they have a chart displaying the amount of calories for each item you order. This location is in an old plaza. Parking is also very limited here, but unfortunately none of the places here seem to have been booming with customers so it wasn’t too much of an issue. Also this location was dirty. I was NOT comfortable eating here. I had to rewipe the table myself because it was disgusting. Which shouldn’t be a problem since the workers were just standing around until we came in.

I love flame broiler. Chicken and veggie bowl is my favorite! The white rice drenched in magic sauce! Been to few locations and this one has to be the quickest service I have received!

Two things i look for when i go to a Flame Broiler, 1) portions and 2) can get as much sauce And this place hits it right on the money with both! WINNING! Huge nicely cooked portions of everything on my place. The chicken was a nice even cooked flavor, the brown rice was nicely cooked which most places dont get it right(undercooked or overcooked), but not this place! They also have an island in the middle of the store with all the sauces to get on your own! Perfect because i like to get up and get more of whatever sauce i want throughout the meal, and no i dont want to be judged by the cashier because the owner of the establishment only allows two sauces per plate non-sense. They have jalepenos on the island as well, and they also have the hot hot hot sauce here as an alternative to the magic sauce, Overall really good experience, the only thing they need to improve on is the parking situation. Theres a small row 4 – 5 parking spaces in front of the venue so on a busy day it would be rough to get in and out.

Excellent service! Fast and fun for everyone. The cashier was really nice and was happy to assist me as it was my first time eating The Flame Broiler. She suggested that I get the Works Bowl. The beef was especially good in the bowl, juicy and tender. The chicken was average; a little dry and burnt, but it had good taste. It wasn’t anything special, but it wasn’t bad. The cashier also opened the restroom door for a little boy that could get it open. Sweet. I didn’t get the chance to get her name, so I’ll definitely stop by another time and greet her(and get her number). Their custom bowls are great. I got half brown rice and half white rice, and I didn’t get any carrots in my veggies. I like my veggies soft and tender, so I asked them to boil my vegetables for a little longer. The cook was happy to do so, and the veggies ended up tasting great, just like I had asked. The parking near this place is very limited. It is very cramped, and the only place to get good parking is in the back. Check there next time there is no space in the front. So I give this place a 5 stars for service. Their food was nothing special, something I could get a lot cheaper at home, but it was a great bite to grab.

I would recommend to not come here. They are not up to par with normal Flame Broilers. When I asked about the inconsistency they just said«well this is a franchise» next time I’ll drive a little farther for the quality I’m used to.

Two stars mainly for their location and parking(more like lack of parking). There are only about four parking spaces in front of FB which is sandwiched between two other businesses so you are basically sharing parking amongst three businesses. Next door 7 Eleven has designated parking for their customers only. That’s how bad parking is here. Oh and the Pizza Hut delivery cars take up parking as well. It is only one way in(off of Katella) and one way out(on to Euclid). So inconvenient. I definitely will not be back. The food was ok. The beef seemed over cooked and boy do they pile on the rice. It was more like a rice bowl than a beef bowl. It seems each location tastes different but what do you expect from a franchise chain I guess. I recommend phoning in your take out order. It will be ready when you walk in. Other customers seemed to be waiting a while for their take out orders which they placed in the restaurant. I walked in, paid, and walked out all in about a few minutes.

I’ve had my share of Flame Broiler from many different locations and this one in particular is such a disappointment. My business associate and I ordered chicken salads and once we brought it back to our office, we realized that THEIRVERSION of a «salad» was a large bed of uncooked shredded cabbage. It was so un-enjoyable and nearly inedible. I only order salads at other locations and their salads consist of fresh/crisp ice-burg lettuce. We were SODISAPPOINTED with our meal that we couldn’t even finish it. Definitely never coming back to this location.

My friend recommended this FB chain to me, and I’m glad she did. The service was great, the employees were very welcoming, and the interior was spotless. The food was pretty good, too. I ordered the half & half bowl, and the wait wasn’t long at all. The meat seemed freshly made. Good food, good service, good environment. This is as good as it gets! I’m definitely coming here again.

Whenever I go home, I always want something that all Asians want: RICE. Although not a hard commodity to come by, but being a college student, it’s difficult to find time to make some while you’re running around working. So after hanging out with some friends, my hunger got the better of me and I felt a sudden urge for some rice. Luckily I found this Flame Broiler while I was looking up some places nearby and I headed straight there. To settle my hunger, I had The Works bowl and I expected it to be like other Flame Broilers. However, this place just happened to give me better quality than the other ones(maybe I just got lucky, but ehh I was happy: D). The meat was cooked well and wasn’t dry like some other Asian fast food. The interior was very clean, like it was brand spanking new so I felt more comfortable in it. Well at least I know I can come back to this place if I want a sufficiently satisfying meal! :D

N side of Katella just E of Euclid First things first… despite this being a brand new location(like seriously not even open a year yet new) the plaza where this venue is located has some of the worst parking one ha ever seen! While the location may be great in terms of traffic… that parking is just horrenedous. The area to park is quite small, it proves tight, and the patrons in the vehicles when they’re ready to leave… or arrive! Oh my gosh you’d swear that he, or she has gotten their racing license. If you have any sort of fear of other drivers then do NOT come here and park in front versus parking in the back where extra parking is located. FB is a chain of Teriyaki Restaurants that seems to be spreading like wildfire… so yay for them(and I say that without any sarcasm because I do really like this place and its availability.) The other reason I rate just this location lower than I normally would is because on my last visit where my bowl had both chicken and beef cutlets both meats had an unacceptable amount of gristle in them proving quite distracting… and rather gross. I also wish this chain offered more sides than just extra meat. Maybe something as simple as some egg rolls. It’s ok to use a vendor if the rolls are of genuine quality and made right. Like my favorite place Yogi’s they offer you in the form of pumps with small cups more of their Teriyaki(Magic) Sauce or some Spicy Sauce(which is more like a Buffalo Wing Sauce without being«vinegary!» Service at this location has always been nice and welcoming. An added touch that would be nice is if time and business permits that someone would bring your food to your table for you. What I love is that their employees make productive use of their free time. If there are no customers then someone working will be out cleaning the dining area to ensure its cleanliness. They feature regular tables both inside and out. Fountain Drinks come in the form of Coca Cola products. My usual here is depending on my appetite… either a mini or regular ½ and ½: This bowl proves on the better side with the rice always being prepared perfectly(you get a choice of brown or white rice,) and you of course get a choice of either chicken, beef, veggie, or both They have various sizes here ranging from mini to plates, but not a very extensive menu opting simply for simplicity. They have a palate of black, light green, white, and natural woods… so a little different. I think personally I’m done with this location… as well as the other dining options in this complex!
