This is the bar that’s outside of Hotel Menage — my only complaint is that when it gets cold, they didn’t turn on the heaters so I was freezing! Food: I tried the cheeseburger with a side of mac and cheese. I couldn’t just eaten the mac and cheese… My eyes are bigger than my tummy. The mac and cheese was super tasty, really cheesy, and came really hot! The burger was really good too, and cooked exactly how I wanted it to be. Drinks: I tried the Menage Poolside which was really yummy and really pretty! Definitely a «girly» drink, but worth getting if you’re a big manly man, too. The bartender was really kind and was cracking jokes with me all night and he made the experience that much more fun. If you’re staying at Hotel Menage you really don’t have to go far for good food and drinks — Palapa is awesome!

If you’re around the DTF area and bar hop, this is where you start, best thing to get is the fish bowl, delicious and a great starter. The scene of the bar is very chill. Great place.

always a good time here because of those fish bowls! this bar is small so the wait can get pretty ridiculous depending on the time and place you go but most groups are in and out pretty fast. everyone comes here for their delicious fish bowls– which come in 4 flavors(& colors) — red, blue, green, and yellow! My favorites are always the blue and green which taste like AMF(blue) and midori sour(green) to me :) The prices are cheap too! if i’m coming with a really big group we get the gallon full which is($ 33 + $ 5 tip) and even if you get 2 – 3 of them it’s still pretty inexpensive. They don’t taste very strong but trust me– these bowls creep up on you(kinda like jungle juice or soju). I recommend always coming here for the first stop since the bowls are good for pregame and then you’ll be plenty energized and drunk for the next few bars– like florentines(right next door) when you can dance!

Friendly staff. Good ambiance. Great shrimp scampi. And the outdoor bar by the pool is a great place to enjoy the happy hour on a sunny day.

So I really want to give this a 5 and the only reason I am giving it a 4 is for the bartender… He was just slammed so bad… He really could have used more help. Mad props for taking care of business and I’m sure our tip showed how much we appreciated your service… For the power that be… Hire more people or have people on stand by to help. Looking inside it looked like people were just standing there when they could have helped… The Décor and ambiance was on point and 24 hr pool… Nice

Wanted to go here. Called to ask a few questions regarding parking and whatnot and got hung up on. Ok… guess I won’t be going here…

I came here on a Saturday evening, about 6.30 or so. I was with two other people, and we had hoped for a drink in the jacuzzi. When we arrived, the jacuzzi was full, so we decided on drinks only. We waited at the bar for close to 20 minutes, all while the lone bartender attended to everyone else– both barsitting and table sitting. We did not actually order anything from here, but here’s the reason for the stars: 1. The bartender was by himself-clearly they were understaffed, and he was working the whole time, getting to everyone’s order in the order they arrived. He was being fair. 2. He acknowledged us right when we entered, made sure we had a menu, and continually made eye contact with us, telling us it would be just a little bit. He was upfront with us that he was busy. Had I been more patient, I would have been ok with waiting just a few more minutes, because when we left, we were the next in line to be helped, but we were under a time constraint. For the bar’s sake, I would hope they would staff it with one other bartender, given that it was not only a Saturday night but also an event weekend, and the hotel had sold out completely. Seems like it would be just a little busy, don’tcha think?

Met a friend here after work for happy hour drinks. The drinks were fine. All served in plastic cups. I guess causes its outside and by the pool? I assume there must be a chance some drunk ahole will go on a rampage, break a glass and then toss the broken glass into the pool, forcing them to empty it to get the glass out. Either that or my imagination is running wild. Regardless its an ok place to have a drink. Really geared more towards the guest staying here then locals looking for a place for happy hour. I tried a few of their eats. The mac and cheese was fine. Not gonna win any awards. The edemame was covered in seasoning and charred from the grilling. I would have preferred them plain and hot. Carnitas tacos were fine. Wouldnt go out of my way to stop here again. I was told the Globe has a good happy hour but I dunno. I’ve been led astray by this person before. hmmm…

Palapa Bar at the Hotel Menage was fantastic. We walked straight here after checking in and dropping our bags off just in time for happy hour. They have a bunch of $ 5 specials including nachos, pizza, wings(ORDERTHESE!!), sliders and more. They also have specials on beers and any well drinks for $ 5. The bartenders had a heavy hand with the alcohol which is nice to see at a hotel. Palapa Bar is also the perfect location for the Disneyland nightly fireworks. It was really unbelievable!

There were a few really good bartenders make some pretty darn good drinks and help you out by taking your order for food and then there is another bartender who seems kinda cocky and doesn’t really seem to want to help you. Drinks— — — — — Nice range of different alcoholic drinks, Tropical and traditional. The happy hour is 4−7pm everyday and a lot of the tropical drinks are only $ 5 Beer $ 1 off during happy hour Food— — — — - The food menu is a nice size and reasonably priced. Food on the happy hour menu is only $ 5. Food not on the HH menu is still inexpensive We ordered: Nachos, Pulled Pork Sliders, Pizza, Thai Chicken Wings, Sweet Potato Fries, and all of those were only $ 5 each What is really good about this place is that you don’t always have to be walking around with cash or your debit/credit cards with you. You can pay with cash or your card but you can also have your bill billed to your room. Just put your room number and gratuity on the receipt and pay when you check out, it’s that easy! This bar area makes for a good tropical area to hang out and sip tropical drinks moon or shine.
