Sometimes you get a craving, and this place offers unique tastes. If you are in the area… check it out. The pizza is great, the staff was nice. They even stayed open late for my party, and gave us goodies in our take out bags. Adelle waited on us. IThe parking isnt great so it will take you 4 or so minutes to get there from wherever you find a space. Free Wifi meant my friends could play with their phones. Chill atmosphere… I would def go back

Tried this place for the first time last week. I loved it so much I went back the next day. Flatbread pizzas and flatbread paninis. How can you go wrong? Their buffalo panini is excellent. The Brazilian chicken flatbread pizza is good too. I’ll be coming back often.

I work near this location and the food is always great so I like to go here. The reason they get a 2 star is that they never have rice available for a bowl when I go for lunch. I would say 5 out of the last 7 times I’ve been there they state there is no rice. This is horrible as a business that they cannot make enough rice in a day to cover orders. I go around 2 p.m. usually during the week and today I went at 12:30. It’s embarrassing for a company to run of supplies daily like this when they know there is a need. It’s on your menu. Customers will ask to purchase it and when you don’t have supplies, you don’t have sales. I did ask once why this happens and was told they only make so much per day. Really… it’s rice. It doesn’t cost a lot and doesn’t take forever to make. Either way I’ll most likely never visit this location again.

The Brazilian Chicken Flatbread was amazing. The smoothies were pretty tasty as well. They will let you combined the flavors they have to make your own smoothie flavor

This place is very close to home… walking distance. I only wished it was better. It has the potential to be a super place. Clean, nice corner spot, wi-fi, downtown lunch spot. Been now 3 times and I keep hoping for it so step up. The prices are reasonable and the menu albeit small has some eye catchers. Wraps, panini, flat bread, subs and salads… used to have rice bowls too. Unfortunately they tend to repeat the same 5 – 6 themes into everything. Too bad they have taken the fast food model for their food. Example: Pesto chicken sub, Pesto chicken panini, pesto chicken wrap. You see the common trend. A few minor tweaks and the menu would have a lot to offer. 1st time had the turkey & mozzarella panini, kind of small and flavorless except for the sun dried tomatoes. They kind of saved it from panini obscurity. 2nd time had a Aloha grilled flat bread. Pretty good one too, but I wish it had some pepper kicker like jalapenos because the habanero mango did not man up, and had no fire. The habaneros I use at home will make you sweat blood! 3rd time I had a buffalo sub panini. Why they called it a sub panini I don’t know? The chicken was precooked and lacked that fresh grilled, fried, baked crispness that good buffalo chicken needs underneath its wings. The wing sauce was OK but the BC dressing added to the coldness of the chicken. It should be for dippin’. And it being toasted the cheese wasn’t even fully melted. Could have been good if it had been cooked right. I may only return because the prices are reasonable, service is friendly and I really hope they can step up their game. Pretty food, just a bit bland. Maybe thats why its so empty most of the time.

Visited the Walt Disney Travel Company to table at a Wellness Fair and Sandella’s was down the block. I rushed over to an empty restaurant at noon, with a bad-tempered cashier taking my order. Everything on the menu was relatively cheap($ 6 — $ 8) and offered more items than just Flat breads, as the name of the restaurant suggested. I tried the Brazilian Chicken Flat bread. The yellow sauce tasted like curry, but sweet, although the saltiness lingered after I finished the food. Generous with the tender grilled chicken… too bad it was difficult keeping it on the flatbread. The food was decent enough, but not anything spectacular. A place I would not really recommend, unless you are in the area or live/work nearby.

I’ve eaten here about 5 or 6 times now and everything has always been delicious. My favorite is the Brazilian chicken flatbread, the sauce is like nothing else! YUMYUM You really cant go wrong with any of the flatbreads or paninis. No they aren’t overly filling, but that’s probably because most people are used to stuffing themselves to the brim. Sandella’s provides a healthy option that is delicous and takes away your hunger without feeling like you can’t breathe.

My fiancé and I got free tickets to Angels’ game so he came by to pick up from work and we stopped by Sandella for quick dinner before heading to the game. We came by 5:45pm and there was no other customers other than us. The cashier was on her break having dinner and she stopped to help us. My fiancé presented a coupon from entertainment book but was rejected since the manager wasn’t there and she mentioned she got into trouble last time when she did accept the coupon. We were cool with it since the meal wasn’t much. We ordered Brazillian chicken on panini sandwich and pesto chicken on flatbread. The Brazillian chicken was tasty and we ordered a large sandwich so it was plenty to eat. Pesto chicken wasn’t much pesto sauce and the flatbread was very thin. If we only ordered the flatbread, I don’t think we would feel full from it. It’s nice that the food came out super hot and this is a nice option to get lunch since it’s so close to my work.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon and the place was empty. I ordered the Ahola Grilled Flatbread, which is basically a flatbread pizza. It didn’t take long to get my order, which isn’t a surprise because I was the only one there. The flatbread made it taste like a thin crust pizza. The pizza had pineapple, ham, bacon, mozzarella and mango habenero sauce(I didn’t find it spicy at all). I ate my flatbread there and it was pretty warm inside, almost like they had the heat on. This place is a good option to get lunch if you are in the area.

Opened in 2009, Sandella’s is located in downtown Anaheim across the street from City Hall. It’s a great location for hundreds of office workers looking for something healthy during their lunch hour. Sandella’s is also open on the weekends with a more relaxed atmosphere, great open space, lots of windows for natural lighting, and even some tables outside if you want to people watch and enjoy the nice summer weather in Southern California. Owner, Sanjeev Kumar, always wants to make sure all of his customers are happy. If you have a special request, don’t hesitate to ask. Sanjeev has been in the restaurant business for over 12 years and does a lot of research on the side to make sure his food is top quality and tailors the menu to customers. Sandella’s has also been given high ratings from the National Restaurant Association and for healthy food. The Tuscan Chicken Panini has grilled chicken, mozzarella cheese, red onions, sundried tomatoes, fresh basil and creamy pesto sauce. This is very cheesy, gooey, and creamy. The concept of the Panini is taken a step further by using flatbread instead of sliced bread. All in all, this is very good but just needs a little kick of spice, like oregano. This is a very healthy alternative to a standard chicken sandwich at a fast food joint. Thumbs up with 4 stars!

tasty! yummy! magical!!! wait wut? You heard me, magical! I got a pesto pizza(don’t let the name fool you, it’s a pizza) for myself, and some other one for my gf. She asked me to save her a slice, so I did. I left it in the car for her while we were out at the Artwalk that was happening in the area. Fast Forward two days, and she asks me, «I thought you said you saved me a slice of pizza» ??? I did! I left it on the seat for her. Hence, «magical» If you don’t eat it quick, it will disappear on you! Hmm, maybe i should clean out the underside of my passenger seat. I wonder if it’s there…

This was my first time here and i must say, it wasn’t too bad. As i entered the store, there was a weird smell that bugged me. It was like burnt and/or spoiled bread. But since i was in there for quite some time, i guess i got used to the smell. but once in awhile there would be a breeze of the weird smell… I ordered a tuscan chicken panini, $ 5.89 and the sausage and bacon flatbread, $ 5.99. The tuscan chicken panini is good, very tasty. i just wish it was alittle bit bigger. i love the melted cheese and tender chicken. the pesto spread was great. nothing strong, it was just right! amazing! As for the flatbread, it was not that great. All the toppings were not evenly scattered. There were chunks of cheese on one corner of the flatbread, then there were chunks of sun dried tomatoes on the opposite corner. Flavor wise, it was okay. nothing memorable, nothing like«OMGGGGG» Overall, i give this place a 3.5 I coudnt over come the awkward smell and the layout/taste of the flatbread. My recommendation: Get the Tuscan Chicken Panini! And if you like spicy, also ask for a side of jalapenos! and dip it with Tapatio Hot Sauce, Yummy!!!

Dear Sandella’s, I like you because you’re within walking distance from work. Your Brazilian Chicken Grilled and Pesto Chicken Grilled Flatbread ain’t so shabby. On top of that, you also have free wifi for my as-of-late smart-phone-less self to access the world wide web. I like your stamp card and I’m working hard to earn that 10th flatbread for free. Sincerly, Phoebe

I just tried this place for the first time today. I had the Spinach & Bacon Flatbread. Everything was fresh and the Flatbread was definitely crispy! It was good. A little greasy though, but I guess that’s what napkins are for, huh?!? Their toppings aren’t overwhelming and the size that is offered is more than enough. FYI– I went to their Anaheim location, originally intending to try one of their rice bowls, but they are no longer available! I mentioned to them it was still on their web site, but I guess because it is a franchise they really can’t do much about it. So I went with Spinach & Bacon Grilled Flatbread. I would go back to try their other stuff!

Oh heck yes. I tried the Buffalo Chicken Panini and it was like dancing flavors on my tongue. Buffalo chicken, celery, cheese… all toasty. Got a little bit of business going on at lunch time. Pretty fun music to eat to. Nice staff. Holla!

Out and about running errands we always spot this place and keep it in mind and today we FINALLY checked it out. Overall everything about this place is adequate, all right, ample, decent, delighting, enough, fair, fulfilling, good, good enough, gratifying, passable and pleasing. Any synonym you can come up with satisfactory sums up Sandella’s. If you are looking for a place that is quick, easy, healthier than most fast food and affordable then Sandella’s is a good choice. We were both pretty happy with our lunches(Chicken Pesto Flat bread for the Mr. and Black Bowl for me). Also, the fresh brewed black tea here is just delightful.

I like this place! Wish I had it closer to my home. Tasty flatbread and paninis at a very affordable price. I think both were around $ 5 – 6. The cashier was very friendly and patient with us as we were quite indecisive. He let us try the Brazilian sauce. It’s homemade. It tastes like honey mustard. We had the Brazilian chicken flatbread and the Tuscan chicken panini. They also have a hawaiian pizza that looked yummy too. I like the chicken panini because it was stacked with sundried tomatoes which I love. It was a tad too creamy. The flatbread was quite tasty too, but a bit oily. I had to pat down the entire flatbread to remove the excess oils. Besides the excess oil, I was quite happy with my lunch here! Will be back!

I fell in love with Sandella’s when I lived in Costa Mesa and was super excited when I saw that they were going to open one in downtown Anaheim! They took forever to open and I’m glad they finally did. I went there last weekend looking for some grub and got the buffalo chicken wrap which was sooo good and full of creamy saucy love. Also tried the hummus wrap and it was rather refreshing with crispy cucumber inside. And the best part? It’s totally affordable! Most of their menu items hover around the $ 5 – 6 range. Easy on my wallet and keeps my taste buds happy. I wish I lived walking distance. I would never cook again.

Finally it opened after long delays. I live right by this place so we have been patiently waiting since the only thing we have walking distance that is decent is Flame Broiler. I love Flame broiler but you can only have chicken bowl so many times. My wife and I tried this place a couple of days ago and enjoyed it. We ordered the Chicken pesto flatbread and California quesadilla and we both thought it was good… for the price. Both items cost us about $ 11 which is like cheaper than Mcdonalds these days for two. We will try their panini next and probably a different kind of flatbread. I recommend you try this place if your looking for something not too heavy but satisfying. Especially if you live in one of the downtown Promenade complexes. 3 stars for the food, but 4 stars for Location, Price and Service.
