Scott Walker Audio

For 57 years I dreamed about a Macintosh system. I knew what I wanted. Than I met Scott and he told me which model I should get. He was right. I told him I was happy with my speakers but he should me something much better. I am very happy and lucky I met him. If you want to buy a great system you can’t do better than to deal with Scott.

I’m a long time audiophile. Unfortunately over the last few years I haven’t used any of my equipment. Recently I decided to fire up the old McIntosh system. When I unpacked the turntable I found the stylus was damaged. I contacted Scott walker by phone and he said he could help me but he needed to return my call. I waited for a day and finally called him. He seemed agitated that I was taking his time so he asked me to take photo’s and e-​mail pic’s of my turntable and stylus. I was trying to get it working for Xmas holidays. I emailed pic’s as asked several days before the holidays and it is now mid-​January and I haven’t heard from him. Had he simply said he couldn’t take care of me that would have been fine but waiting on him cost me more than a couple of weeks. My son got me one in Seattle.
I realize that it wasn’t a major purchase but I was just trying to get this system working and was going to take it to my ranch in OK. We are building a new home in E. Washington and I’m rebuilding a vintage Airstream. Both are going to have home theater and sound through out. Just not from Scott Walker Audio. It appears that his customer service is good as long as you’re spending big money. If you need something minor or help your not worth a return call. I’ll buy off the internet or from anyone else.

In the world of high end audio retail and service, there is no one who cares for – or takes better care of – his customers than Scott Walker of Scott Walker Audio. Scott goes out of his way to make you feel like you’re his most important client. He works with you and *your* schedule, he’s always punctual, he has an awesome, very liberal trade-​in policy (and he does all the heavy lifting work for you in selling your used gear!), and, most amazingly, he always seems to be available ²⁴⁄₇ to answer even the silliest of my questions! It is simply service above and beyond the call. I have worked with many great audio dealers in my nearly 40 years of enjoying this fantastic hobby, but no one holds a candle to Scott. I’m happy to call him my friend. Oh… and I forgot to mention, he represents some of the finest brands available in high end audio too!

I bought a pair of Synergistic Research Fuses from Scott Walker Audio in March, but unfortunately there was a mix-​up with my address due to way paypal referenced my credit card. To make a long story short, Scott sent me a 2^nd pair of fuses while we sort things out. In my opinion, it seems like his main interest is in customer service and I would feel very confident ordering something from him in the future. Thanks Scott!

My experience with Scott Walker Audio has been just wonderful and very exciting I am a young audiophile and have been building my two channel system for about five years now and started working with other high end brick and mortar stores that would just try and sell me the most expensive ticket items they had but not what was right for me and my living space however when I met Scott Walker he came over and gave me a consultation showed me what things would work for my space and best bang for my buck after all was said and done I have a system I never thought could sound this good Scott’s expertise just validated why I love music so much and he is an absolute pleasure to work with and knows how to make the right synergy with your equipment to squeeze the best performance out of it and Scott has introduced me to what I call the real music experience when people hear my music they feel as if they are in the recording studio or a lounge listening to live music so kudos to Scott walker for helping me build the most musical lifelike system that one could only dream about.

I’ve been into high-​end audio for ten years, and Scott Walker of Scott Walker Audio is the finest dealer in Orange County hands down. In fact, except for one exception, he’s one of the best dealers I’ve dealt with across the country.
I moved to Orange County from L.A. last September, and Scott is the only dealer I will work with down here.
Why?
While most high-​end audio dealers are like used-​car salesman, Scott really cares about his customers. I have never seen an audio dealer go so far out of his way to make sure that you are getting the right equipment for your system, but who will also spend as much time as needed to make sure your system sounds the best it can in your listening room.
Part of the reason so many brick and mortar stores have gone under is because they forgot they’re in the customer service business. When you’re purchasing a $ 2,000 cable, which is cheap by audiophile standards, you shouldn’t be treated like you’re a nuisance. Scott gets this, and that’s why he is such a pleasure to work with.
As far as my system goes, before I met Scott, by most standards, and by the numerous audiophiles that have listened to it (some in the business) they were blown away after hearing it.
Then one day, on the recommendation of Ted Denney, owner of Synergistic Research, that I get the Power Cell MkII SE for my system. He recommended I give Scott Walker of Scott Walker Audio a call.
Scott and I talked on the phone; he asked me about my current equipment, came over, took a listen, and then replaced my beloved Shunyata V-​Ray with the Synergistic Research Power Cell MkII SE power cleaner. He kept telling me how it was going to transform my system (I was thinking yeah right.).
He hooked it up for me, we put on some music (digital and analog), and my jaw dropped to the floor. To say the sound was magical is a gross understatement.
Scott proved that he really knew what he was talking about, but that’s not what impressed me about him: Scott must have spent two hours with me rearranging my speakers, making some other adjustments, and giving me suggestions that would improve the sound quality of my system even further. All I can say is my system sounds incredible now.
As I said in the beginning, I have never worked with a dealer who goes so far beyond the norm to make sure you have the best sounding system possible, and will go farther than any other dealer I’ve seen o make that happen for you.
I give Scott the highest recommendation possible. If you decide to give him a call, you will be rewarded with much more than a piece of audio equipment. You will receive the Scott Walker experience: A dealer you can trust, and one who cares more about making you happy then how much gear he can sell you.
