Shakey’s Pizza Parlor

Absolutely loved it! It’s a huge place. Very clean. Good service. Great Prices, especially for the Disneyland area. Very affordable for a family. We got the happy hour mojos for 99 cents. huge plate, and small pepperoni pizza for 4.99. We Loved the pizza! I definitely recommend it.

Yikes. 1 star doesn’t even begin to explain my feelings for this place.
I grew up loving Shakey’s but my recent experience makes me question if I genuinely loved the food here or was only satisfied with playing in the arcade.
One positive thing was we were immediately greeted and helped by a younger lady with plugs in her ears. She was a great host. But, when it got down to ordering the food we were a bit confused as we didn’t know that we had to get up and order it at the register ourselves.
After 30 minutes our 2 pizzas finally came out but we were missing our order of mojos and chicken strips. After asking our server, Darryl, he said he would go check up on them. An hour later another server apologized to us and said they were sorry about the wait and they they’d be out shortly. We asked for barbecue sauce 3 times and didn’t get it until we were done with our food. Mojos were over cooked and the chicken extremely dry.
Don’t eat here unless you enjoy slow, forgetful servers, screaming children, and overcooked food.
Not coming back. Yikes.

Lets first talk about the staff here first, theres nothing but gossiping teenagers, playing around and not doing their jobs. Tell me how you pay 56 dollars for a pizza and chicken??? Save your money and order a pizza from Dominos, and get fried chicken from KFC. We waited 30 minutes after our original order arrived for the «sliced potatoes». This place was a waste or money, its poorly ran seeing how the staff clearly has no discipline. Oh don’t even get me started on the salad bar, it was empty the entire hour we were there.

We enjoyed the pizza– had a pepperoni thin crust– tasted like my childhood! (no Shakeys in Oregon for many years!) also had a pan combo which was loaded with toppings but the crust was very doughy on top so they made us a new one– no problem. It was so good! The chicken tenders were way over cooked but potatoes were good. Service was very friendly from everyone. Highly recommend.

The food is great, really great! We love the food, but the customer service here is absolutely Horrible! I’ve given them many chances 4 to be exact and the only reason we come here is for the food but honestly I don’t think we’ll be coming to this location anymore! Every time has been worse that the last. Employees rolling their eyes at me maybe it’s because they’re teenagers, who knows!

I enjoy coming to this Shakey’s. It’s a large venue with plenty of seating for a party. Also has a great arcade for the kids. Shakey’s never disappoints! Food is always hot and filled as expected. The staff and management at this location are on point!
I am very satisfied with the service and food I received at this location.

Grew up with Shakeys pizza in Sacramento, Ca. Unfortunately they closed down and we lost a great chain. Found o e here in Anaheim on our family Disneyland trip. Omg, pizza parlor smells just like the good old days and tastes even better! So glad we got to have a great pizza dinner that lived up to the memories! The shakeys special rhat we had on pan crust was unbelievable and the wings were fantastic. Had them plain but soo juicy and best breading!

Stopped in on a Monday night with my hubby and two young kids, after spending the day at Disneyland. The place was crowded with people watching football. The special is a large one topping pizza and 4 drinks for $ 8.99 plus cost of drinks. Not too bad of a deal. The Dodger playoff game wasn’t on any of the 15plus TVs so we nicely asked that one get turned on to it. It wasn’t a problem. A few other customers complained but quickly became understanding. The clientele varied and some seemed a little shady. A man who looked like a homeless came in and grabbed good off someone’s table and ran outside. The manager chased after him but didn’t catch him. Food was great! Games for the kids. Just a lot to see !

2 hours for pizzas? Ordered online because I called twice and was placed on hold for 5 mins each time. Order said «pick up time is at 8:55» it’s already 9:43 and my husband is still waiting for the pizzas!!! RIDICULOUS!!!

So after 2 hours of waiting they said that they don’t have our pizza ready!!!
Fire the manager please.

This place was five stars thanks to the employee Aaron. He was very attentive and helped us find a table and then cleaned it off for us. He even ran out our pizza to us and brought us ranch when we asked. We later went to cash in our tickets and found him helping out at the prize booth. It seems he can do everything here! He helped me color match my new stick on mustache and I have to say my boyfriend loves the new look: p Thanks Aaron for the excellent service. My boyfriend and I look forward to coming back for the good pizza, fun games and great customer service.

I like how people are like, «OMG the salad was terrible». Who is ordering salad at Shakey’s? You go for pizza, mojo potatoes, and fried chicken. You don’t go for salad. If you’re watching your waistline this is not the place for you.
I really shocked my team at work by saying I wanted my birthday dinner at Shakey’s. Not some sit down place where we could get cocktails or a nice glass of wine. Shakey’s. I wanted to relive my childhood days where my parents would take us to get pizza, chicken, and potatoes. We’d get a bunch of quarters and go off in that arcade. Ahhhhh…
Anyway, the pizza was cheesy, the chicken was greasy, and the potatoes were salty and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

We grew up with Shakey’s in our neighborhood so whenever we come to Anaheim we have to stop here to reminisce. It’s always as I remember it. We try to stop in when they have their lunch buffet. Everyone gets exactly what they want so it works out. The lunch buffet always satisfies my family of picky eaters. The variety of pizza is perfect and the mojo’s are always hot! It’s a great space with tons of seating and lots of tv’s. My kids love the game room too.
Tip: On weekends the buffet is about $ 9, it does not include a drink.

I love the food here ! The two stars are for their food ! The service was 0 stars! The wait to be seated was ok. The service was horrible ! The cashier Valerie, was not trying to be helpful at all !

Great services definitely coming back. My family are very picky eaters and they loved it. Chicken was so crispy and tasty better the KFC chicken. I’m not a big fan when it comes to pizza crust and I did not complain about eating the crust this time.

I love Shakey’s! This location is clean and the service is fast. I love how my pizza and mojos tasted!

This place brings back good memories growing up in East San Jose. So many parties and good times there. Mojo’s are the best and right now I’m reliving the past…

Came here on Friday night for what else but a STAR WARS PARTY!!!
Our host booked the back room for about 100 of us and for just $ 15, we were given drinks, pizza, mojos, and chicken! hell ya!
i have to say, this pizza was not only the best Shakey’s pizza I have ever had, but damn good pizza at that! The crust had nice garlic and seasonings, the cheese was ooey gooey melty goodness, and the sausage pizza i tried had plenty of tasty juicy kicked up sausage!
the chicken was fried perfectly, not too greasy and had crispy skin while the mojo potatoes also were very crispy and hot and delicious!
great service, great food, great time, great night!

Shakey’s Pizza located on Harbor Blvd in Anaheim is nothing but a familiar place of happiness and bliss all rolled into one. Its a place I would never say no to, especially for the Lunch Bunch buffet. The lunch buffet is served until 2:00pm daily. I have came as late as 1:30 and there was still plenty of food, with more food on its way. And if your nice, and its 1:50pm, they may even take pizza requests.
True the multiple pizza choices are just mediocre and lonely as it sits there under the heat lamps. The mojos are salty and the chicken is fried. The salad bar has seen better days. But… That is what makes bad taste so good. It may not be the best food around, but I still find myself returning over and over again. Its just a classic staple AYCE pizza place.
For about $ 20 you can get 2 buffets and 2 drinks from the Pepsi sponsored fountain making it a fast and easy place to feed the tummies without breaking the bank. To entertain yourself, they offer a few big screen TVs and video games.
My only complaint is, the bathroom here was very dirty. Something that should be checked hourly to ensure nobody made a mess in there.

Who eats at Shakey’s for dinner, I know. But honestly a family salad should NEVER contain ROTTEN greens NO MATTER where you eat. Brown lettuce, slimey smelly cucumbers… So disgusting!!!
Although we got an apology, we didnt get our money back. We were told the server was in training and that the salad was suppose to go in the trash.
