Why he do it. Subway. Well its cheap!!! And if you dont eat it all the time its not bad. I ordered chicken breast with pepperjack all veggies except lettuce on a cheesy jalapeño bread toasted. Mmmmm You have to toast it changes the sub. well eating my sandwich i read through the complaints. So what I am noticing about this area is they have alot of tourism and homeless. I believe even though inconvenient that is why they dont have water. I am also noticing that these being franchises subway corporate is allowing the blue prints for subways with no bathrooms. So this is not the franchise owners fault. These low scores should actually be vetted toward corporate. Service was actually very good, polite and the owner was being courteous to his staff. My sandwich tasted well. I didnt buy a soda because I had water in the car. So upon reviewing the reviews I could see how if i was thirsty and they didnt offer a paying customer a free cup of water it would greatly change my rating. I believe that due to the strategic position of this location this place could have zero stars and still do quite well. Theres too much new business and little need for repeat business. This Subway is placed away from most residential areas and functions more as a tourist eatery and a cheap meal option for nearby employees. Compared to the average resturaunt/food place tourists will come here. This is not always the case however one does not have much expectation upon entering an establishment of this nature in the first place except prompt courteous service with a mediocre tasting meal…

Disappointed after buying sandwiches they would not give me a class of water. Don’t recommend. I read restaurants are only required to give water if they sell alcohol. Can anyone validate that?

I have been to over 100 Subways and this has to be the worst! To begin. No $ 5 subs here No water on fountain No side cups for dressings No good customer service This franchise should be pulled. This Subway has several issues all starting with the owner. This guy is rude to his employees and his customers. How could you run a franchise and not participate in national promotions??? This owner should rename this place HISWAY!

Longstory short, employees great, manager/owner not at all. I work in the area and find it very convenient to come to this subway. I come to this subway on a weekly basis and have refrained from leaving a bad review for approximately six months. This review is well meditated. First and foremost, the employees are generally kind and at least try to be helpful. I’ve never had an issue with any of them, if anything they’re friendly at times. My heart almost goes out to them as I know they aren’t bad people in the slightest; they are not my primary dissatisfaction with this location. I’m not the type to complain unless I’m horribly dissatisfied because I know how it is, sometimes you have bad days, sometimes life happens, but the behavior and attitude of who I can only assume is either the manager or owner is so unacceptable. He is rude and out right cheap, always. I see it all the time, he is stingy about sauces, meats, vegitables, everything! His workers know it too and when customers ask for extra anything sometimes they wait for him to walk away for a bit to do it. You can sense how nervous they get making sandwiches with him breathing down their neck. I went in like usual and ordered a veggie delight with very light cheese, mind you this is an sandwich with no meat and theoretically he is already saving more money by my wanting less cheese! As soon as I asked for extra olives he out right said«I can’t give you any more.» I was so shocked and yet I wasn’t. I’ve seen him do this sort of thing to many other people. Ive seen him commit worse! If you get one of the other workers, this is a decent subway with pretty fresh ingredients(depending what time of the day you go). If you get the manager/owner…well, expect to just feel outright uneasy ordering and expect your breakfast, lunch, or dinner to be «ehhh…» or «okay». All I can say is that usually, when you try to cut corners and sacrifice customer service to save a little extra, you end up spending more in the long run. «Lo barato siempre te sale mas caro.»

What? No restrooms? Then they say they don’t provide water cups and their soda machines don’t dispense water. They just want to force people to buy drinks with their sandwiches. We went next door to the pizza place to buy bottled water out of principle and then we used the pizza place’s restroom.

Horrible service. No greeting as entering the restaurant as a regular subway would do. The ladies there have no customer service what so ever. I asked for broccoli soup and they said they don’t make it because it doesn’t sell so they denied to make me one, even after I said I would wait. Then I asked for a small side of sauce and they said they didn’t have any containers. First and last time here. Don’t recommend at all!!!

The service was terrible. Very slow. Employees arguing with customers in front of us. There was a new employee and she was not being trained properly. No water cups or Togo containers.

Two(2) different kinds of sandwiches and it was nothing but bread … 90% Bread /10% everything else. First time at this Subway and it will totally be the last. Have had much much better at other nearby Subways.

It’s a Subway. It’s open 24 hours and it’s reasonably priced. Food across most Subways is pretty consistent and this place wasn’t any different. Sometimes it’s just nice to be able to take a sandwich back to your hotel room and chill while watching TV and stuffing a sub in your face.

Giving a 1 star is being grateful. A group of 13 hungry people crowd the prior empty sub store, and each buying an item. Whether it is a drink, combo or drink, an item has been bought by each individual. My friend spills a bit of my drink and wanting to my clean drink and getting extra napkins for my messy groupmates, I ask for some extra napkins. He gives me three pieces. I ask him I have a big group and need a lot of extra, he says«that’s a lot» and dismisses me further. So, with those three napkins, I clean the table. I ask for the owner’s name and he replies with«owner.» I ask for his real name, he exclaims«no name, my name is no name!» Surprised by that, I go back to my seat and chatter with my tablemates. Soon after, he calls out to my group and I and told us to leave, not even being there for more than 10 minutes. We all reluctantly leave, with bitter feelings. I would have understand if we were too loud, raudy or disrespectful but we weren’t. Whether I’m telling the truth or not is up to you, but this is my experience. Not a very good one by the way.

Normally, I don’t write about big chain, fast service places. This one location is a special one and an exemption of my strict Unilocal Policies. My girlfriend and I go to Disneyland a lot and sometimes our wallets need a break from the high prices of food and, of course, merchandise. We would look at our alternatives in the surrounding area. We would stop by world famous sub shop called, Subway. Located on the northeast corner of Harbor and Katella in a little plaza called the Anaheim Resort Centre. At first, how in the world did the plaza get that name?! That is a premium trademark name. There is plenty of parking for Subway, but don’t bet your dollar on a busy day at Disneyland, especially, if it is a 24 hour day. You may or may not see regular transient nearby asking for any spare change. However, there is a big letter«M» up the street where they are guaranteed to be since tourists and guests want to save money. This Subway is just like many other locations. This one will warn you right away. «No Public Restrooms» They mean it! When you walk in, it is very standard settings and, possibly on a busy day, could hard to get through. My girlfriend and I have been here many times and its nothing special to look at. She orders her favorite, 6′ Turkey Flatbread($ 5.45) with a 21 oz drink($ 2.40) with chips, while I still maintain my healthy meal with a 6″ Veggie Delite($ 3.99). Also, they do not give free water. It will be clearly labeled on the glass. Sorry! However, the point is why am I writing about Subway? Their food?! No! Their Preparation?! No! Just to let you know, the staff did not know how to make my salad. I must’ve thrown them off. The one thing that wanted me to write about this particular Subway was their service! As much as they would like to get their money for the business to run, they like to talk to their customers. I am not sure if I talked with their manager or supervisor, but it was a guy named, Rick, who was running the cash register when it was time to ring our order. We were talking about the weather. It was cool talk especially when it was super hot outside. When we sat down, Rick was leaving and stopped by our table to enjoy our day and hope to see us soon. Now, that was worth writing about. If you get Rick, a few word can actually add more happiness to you day. I may one of the strictest Unilocal Policies as an Elite, but sometimes you just have to write what made your visit memorable. Sometimes its the food, sometimes its the people, sometimes, you feel its just right to write. Some policies of mine have to change because guys like Rick who make a big franchise worth writing about the people who actually make the company run. This is the worst Subway branch ever. People working here are very mean, unfriendly. They don’t make your order right, I told her to put extra olives and she made an ugly face and said we don’t do that because we’ve a portion limit. Since when did Subway have a portion limit? They don’t have a bathroom, you can’t wash your hands.

Worst worst worst employees! Sooooo lazy!!! So rude! The place was crowded because the workers kept getting distracted by something in the back room and we had to keep repeating our requests(3 times!) not even worth the one lousy star I gave it! Then they want tips!!! Give. Me.a.Break! Do Not eat here!

Believe the other reviews. We stopped by here after a Ducks game(we were staying at the Sheraton). Ordered three subs for the family. I paid for them and threw them right in the garbage. The meat had water/liquid on it, gloves not used, etc. Clearly trying to take advantage of the crowd looking for a snack after the Downtown Disney fireworks.

This is by far the worst Subway I have ever been to. I was working at a convention in Anaheim last week and when I saw that there was a Subway within walking distance I was so happy. Subway always has consistently good quality sandwiches. You can’t go wrong, right? Well, at this Subway, it did wrong. I ordered a foot-long sandwich and took it back to the convention with me. As I was eating it, I could tell that something was not right about it. It tasted off and I couldn’t figure out why… maybe the ingredients weren’t fresh? Was it the meat or the vegetables? I couldn’t figure it out. I could tell you that the next day, I woke up with an upset stomach and I felt miserable throughout the day. Pretty disappointing. I would avoid this Subway because of quality issues.
