Sunglass Oasis

I had been to 3 Sunglass Huts and hadn’t found what I was looking for. Discouraged, I decided to try this place out due to their good Unilocal reviews. The couple inside were wonderful. They both picked out many pairs of sunglasses for me to try on after I told them what I was looking for. Even though I found the pair I wanted on the 7^th try, they kept pulling out pairs to make sure that those were the ones I wanted. Thank you so much Sunglass Oasis!

Sunglass Oasis is a tiny store tucked away in a little plaza near Disneyland. There are a vast array of affordable sunglasses to choose from here — this would be an ideal place to pick up some sunnies if you’re on a budget.
However, I paid this place a visit in hopes of getting my prescription eyeglasses adjusted. Before swinging by, I called and asked if they would be able to tighten my glasses. The man who answered said he wasn’t sure, but to come on by and he would see what he could do (at least he was honest!).
Upon my arrival, the man who had answered the phone (I should have asked for his name) was at the store counter, completely free to help me out. He checked out my glasses, tightened the screws, and proceeded to utilize what I assume was a frame heater of some sort (this was behind the counter, so it was out of my view) to warm up my glasses and slightly bend them to be less wide. He had me try on my glasses and — voila! They fit just right.
It was an efficient and pleasant experience, and he didn’t even charge me. I made sure to tip reasonably, though, because now my glasses aren’t constantly slipping off my face and I look like I have my life together.

This place is awesome! Happened upon it four years ago while visiting Disneyland and the owner sold me a great pair of shades at a reasonable price which lasted four years before my dog chewed them up. Just visited again yesterday and got another pair which I hope will last as long, and the owner tightened up the screws on my existing pair while I was there. I cannot recommend this place more.

Came in to look for some lenses and he helped adjust my glasses so they fit better then ever… Going to buy my next pair of glasses here!

A block from Disneyland, this place saved me when I needed a pair of sunglasses while on vacation.
A great selection of sunglasses, everything from cheap to pretty expensive. The woman working was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and had no problem that I couldn’t make up my mind. I tried on a ton of glasses before deciding on a pair that I’m really happy with. Prices on the brand i was looking at were exactly they were in amazon. Never once tried to get me to spend more. I wish they had a store in my home town.

My girlfriend and I visited this place today, and let me start out by saying that we both HATE shopping for sunglasses. We both have faces that aren’t very conducive to looking good in sunglasses. I lost my favorite pair of Arnettes (that aren’t made anymore) this morning, so I found this place because it’s an authorized Arnette dealer. It looks like a hole in the wall from the outside, but when you walk inside it’s like «Whoah! That’s a lot of sunglasses for such a little store!» I was impressed by how many major brands they had. Sunglass Hut, in Downtown Disney, had maybe 6 pairs of Arnettes, but this place had any whole kiosk of at least 20 pairs. Most of the sunglasses are either locked up or behind the counter, so I thought it was going to be a pain in the butt to try on a bunch of glasses. The little Asian owner was pretty quiet at first… until he figured out the type of style worked for me and then he became the fricken Mr. Miyagi of sunglasses! (that’s a Karate Kid reference for all the millennials out there: P) He went and grabbed several pairs that totally looked great! You could tell that he would have a specific pair that would look good in mind and then go find it. My girlfriend asked him, «How do you keep track of where everything is?!» He responded, «Every cook knows his kitchen.» LOL! He then went on to explain what styles of sunglasses work best for both of our facial structures. The guy definitely knows his stuff. I ended up finding a pair that looked great, and he even found several pairs that my girlfriend liked too. Before that, she showed him her current sunglasses; he took them and tightened the loose screws and cleaned them up for her, just because. What a cool guy!
TL;DR version: I was completely impressed by this place and the owner is super awesome.

Great store came thru in a pinch. Sales guy set me up in less than 5 on the perfect glasses. Awesome!!!

Great, great, great sunglass place! Aaron was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. I am pretty picky when it comes to sunglasses and he took the time to show many, many different styles and brands. He was patient and didn’t get annoyed when I kept trying on different ones. I ended up with the perfect sunglass at a good price. Highly recommended!

List your time correctly on Unilocal… I drove to this place after I realized my sunglasses were donated to some lucky fella… Already pissed I drove to the location that was only six blocks away. It was close to my hotel but the traffic was horrendous. Then getting there only to find out that it was closed fueled the fire. Then I ended up with some glasses from target which are in a dumpster all ready…

Great selection of sunglasses, the owner is extremely helpful and will give you everything you need to test the sunglasses and ensure you walk away with a pair that you are happy with.

I can’t believe no one’s Unilocaled this yet. This store has been here forever. 5 Stars for this man being super sweet and also for having a cool, cheap collection of sunglasses. He also has super old trinkets in his inventory that literally ARE retro. Pagemaster?! Only this place :)
