Great little find ! I was a little concerned At first because we chose this place because on a Saturday night it was the only restaurant we could get a reservation in. It was fairly empty but hey we were there and hungry and we were out of options. Well, we had the shrimp cerviche tostada and avocado deviled eggs with chorizo as appetizers both were sooo yummy. But the best thing of the night was the SHORTRIBWITHSMASHEDFINGERLINGS! I wrote that in caps so you do not miss it. The potatoes were crispy and creamy at the same time and served over a delicious horseradish sauce. The short rib… Well no need for a knife. It was cooked to perfection and sooo delicious. My husband got the muscles he said they were good too but I didn’t care. I was in carnivore heaven.

Loved the short rib entrée with broccolini — never had a more tender tasting, amazingly delicious short rib ever. It was a nice compliment to my Rose’ Chandon Split! This will be a fave at the top of my list when visiting Disneyland!

The Tangerine Grill & Patio is an excellent option for dining near Disneyland. I’m a huge fan of the Anabella Hotel(the Tangerine is on its property), so I tend to indulge here a good bit. The short rib dinner is truly exceptional. It’s one of my favorite meals in SoCal, and it never disappoints. Their breakfasts are really great too, featuring nice thick sausages and fresh bagels. They also have a really nice three-cheese grilled cheese sandwich, and feature some mouth-watering desserts, which they change out annually. The s’mores one is just incredible, I have to admit. What’s really cool about this spot is that you can dine in at the restaurant, which features the Anabella’s warm Spanish-style architecture; you can order to your room at the Anabella, or you can hang out at the poolside bar, and eat there. The bar is great, too. A.J. is a really fantastic bartender and a great guy. Very easy to talk to, attentive, kind, clever, just a really cool dude. Andrew there is also awesome. They have a nice selection of red wines there. And A.J. can make any drink in the book. I’ve always met some really interesting and cool people hanging out at the bar there too. I guess it’s just like a magnet for Awesome. A really great place. I highly recommend it!

Been walking over from Hilton to happy hour for years. Decided to stay this time at Anabelle. A.J. is one if best bartenders I’ve ever had. Always remembers my name. Makes great drinks and great information on area things to do.

Even though my previous review still stands, I was very impressed that the manager took the time to contact me and was extremely courteous. I don’t know if I could be as well spoken as he was in response to a negative review on my business. The siren song of those tangerine margaritas is strong and the manager was awesome, so I have a feeling we’ll give them another shot.

Salmon was decent nothing great. My bloody mary was good and service was great. Only odd thing was that all four people at our table had different menu’s and one we couldn’t read.

Visited 3 times during my stay this weekend and am averaging a 2 star experience with a 4 star one. First night I got a drink at the bar. Nice wine list, lovely patio. I also ordered dessert to go, a baked cookie with a scoop of ice cream. Was disappointed that it took over 30 minutes for a cookie. Was really disappointed when I unpacked it in my room to find it was burned black. Went back to have it replaced and asked to have it sent to my room. It was delivered about 15 minutes later and was perfect. Second visit was for lunch, burger was very good, the tomato«jam» makes the burger but could use a little salt. Still yummy. Fries are thin but a little undercooked. Third time, de ja vu. I order a glass of wine and bacon wrapped dates to go. Maybe 20 minutes later I take my order back to the room and find it burned black, again. Husband takes it back, asks for a replacement and asks to have it taken off my bill. The food was replaced, was tasty but not special, don’t know yet if the bill was adjusted. All in all, the food selection is better than average, the service is quite good, the food itself is very inconsistent.

Good way to start the new year! Had a living social voucher decided to dine in and get a foodie experience. Service was excellent Eduardos recommendation on the steak frite and chocolate chip cookie was on point. My mom is very selective on her meat and she devoured it. I came to reunite with the tangerine cheesecake but unfortunately they don’t offer it anymore. The chocolate chip cookie was amazing, I like how it came in a mini skillet, hot, chocolatey and topped off with vanilla ice cream. I definitely will come back!

Eat here if you want to wait 35 minutes for eggs that will give you food poisoning! Yes, it’s a restaurant in a hotel so I wasn’t expecting anything special but this just plain terrible. I was staying at the Anabella so I decided to go get some breakfast. I should have gone anywhere else(even Tiffy’s and Coco’s are better than this). I was seated promptly. My waitress was attentive. Those are the only nice things I can say about this place. The restaurant was only half full so there is no reason to have to wait that long for some eggs and toast. As soon as I started walking back to my room my stomach started to hurt and I knew that breakfast was the culprit. Needless to say, I didn’t have a great morning.

I’ve never complained when eating at this restaurant, and I’ve ate there many many times while staying at the hotel! Good food, reasonably priced, good sized portions, great coffee, great customer service. Places like this are hard to find around the Disneyland resort, most of the surrounding restaurants are overpriced, poor customer service and try to rush you in and out before you can notice how horrible your food was. Tangerine girl is always a sure bet for breakfast in the morning, ***they also always send us out with large to go cups of hot coffee for walk over to the park at no extra charge** which is such a nice touch! Love this place!

This restaurant is «hidden» inside the property of the Anabella Hotel in Anaheim, near Disneyland. My husband and I had dinner here a few nights ago because I was using a Livingsocial deal(pay $ 20 for $ 40 worth of food and drinks). The restaurant is very big and spacious. The entire property feels like you’ve entered an old California Mission. We chose to dine on on the patio. It was a warm night and the patio was very inviting due to the wonderful landscaping. It’s located next to the pool, thanks to the landscaping this is not a distraction. The cocktail menu was quite varied, though I felt the drinks were bit on the pricey side. All the cocktails were $ 12 each. I ordered the Blackberry Old Fashion(at least I think that was its name). It was really delicious and I am going to hopefully recreate this at home. We both decided to have appetizers. I had the bacon wrapped dates and my husband had the crab cerviche. The bacon wrapped dates were delicious. Again, a little pricey. You got 7 dates, about 1.5″ to 2″ long and not thick around for $ 9. The cerviche was $ 10 and honestly, it was not like any cervice we’ve ever ordered. It looked like canned crab. the meat was gray rather than white and flaked very thin, just like the crab from a can. It didn’t taste right, and our waiter, who was very nice and professional said he’d let the manager know, so it could be removed from our bill. For dinner I ordered the Steak Frites. It was made with hangar steak, and to my utter surprise was extremely tender. I’m not sure what was used for the steak’s marinade, but I really liked the flavor and overall enjoyed the dish. It was pretty much the least expensive entrée on the menu. around $ 19 My husband ordered the hamburger. It was very good. Sadly, the experience with the crab kind of overshadowed the meal. I think for what we had for dinner the bill was a little high. It was original just over $ 71.00 before the removals of the crab cerviche appetizer… still we spent $ 24 just on two cocktails… I realize no one forced us to make that purchase… but we wanted a drink w/dinner and it was either pay that or have no cocktails. The meal was okay. The service was excellent and the ambiance was wonderful. Dinner options were VERY limited and pricey. I think there was 4 entrees to choose from(not including salads or sandwiches). I might go back for happy hour to check out the local brewed beers they offer, but otherwise I doubt I would go back for dinner. Again, the food tasted good… but the prices were astronomical for what you receive.

Awesome experience. The restaurant patio is beautiful/lush landscape surroundings with the gated pool off to the side. The ambience and setting/décor is quaint and comfortable/relaxing. You feel like you could be in Palm Springs or Mexico. The food was excellent, the watermelon heirloom tomato salad was exceptional! Service was excellent. Definitely worth a visit, will go back for sure.

I was in Anaheim recently, and purchased a LivingSocial voucher for the Tangerine Grill. Loved the outdoor patio seating, which was a lovely way to spend a late-summer night. The service was friendly and efficient, and when I felt my salmon was overcooked, Anna immediately took it back to the kitchen to have it redone. The second time around it was much better, although it could still have been a ilttle less cooked. The duck fat fried potatoes that I had for an appetizer were very tasty. The real let-down here was the dessert. Believe me, it’s rare for me to leave a dessert unfinished. The panna cotta was overly sweet and far too gelatinous for my taste and it was swimming in some sort of sugary liquid, which was not pleasant. The hazelnut brittle that accompanied it was anything but brittle. In fact, it was chewy, which was a complete failure for me, as all it did was stick to my teeth when I tried to chew it. The blackberry sorbet served atop it was the best part of the entire dessert, and the only part I actually finished. A disappointing finish to an otherwise good meal.

We got a loving social deal and checked out this place. The patio was way nicer than the inside. Outside seating is highly recommended. Our sever was excellent. She asked if there was an occasion and gave us a complementary dessert for our anniversary. And the other staff members were very attentive. The food was good too. We got the crab ceviche with chips, Hanger steak with French fries, panna cotta with blueberry sorbet. Delicious and you can still taste the crab and hanger steak, nothing was over powering. The fries were fried with herbs. My only complaint would be that they over cooked our steaks. We ordered medium rare; we got medium well to well done.

Tangerine is a place I’ve looked at on Unilocal for a while, and decided to try for happy hour today. There are a very limited number of outdoor bars in Orange County, which is surprising because of the lovely weather, so I was looking forward to this place because they have a poolside patio and outdoor bar. The atmosphere is awesome and the bar is completely shaded so even on a hot day this is a good place to relax. We ordered 7 drinks in total during the time we were there, as well as 4 appetizers. We had the house Margarita; actually we had 3. We had two blue Hawaiians, we had a blackberry old fashioned and a peach smash. Foodwise we ordered the popcorn, the ceviche, the deviled eggs, and the herbed fries. The pros: the ambiance, as I mentioned, was rad. Very chill, the Angel game was on the TV and the poolside atmosphere had me feeling like I was enjoying a vacation. The Margaritas were TART which is how I love them, and the Blue Hawaiian was clean tasting, not overly sweet or syrupy like they usually are. The fries and the Eggs were awesome. The spiced popcorn was also tasty. We enjoyed every bite. Service was friendly and I was never without a drink. The cons: the cocktails aren’t on the happy hour menu– the well drinks ARE but there is no break on the listed cocktails, which were created by AJ our bartender. The ceviche was REALLYCRABHEAVY. It should be called crab salad honestly. If ya’ love crab, then you will love it. There was a weird miscommunication when we sat down. We were the only people at the bar, and the bartender had the following conversation with us after telling us the popcorn flavor of the day was caramel. Him, «We don’t have caramel. What flavor would you like, we have parmesan, spice…» Me, «ooooh parmesan sounds good» Him, «spice?» Me, «we’d like Parmesan please.» Him, «ok. Spice.» The spice popcorn was good, but it was weird that we didn’t really get a choice. Overall I left here with a great buzz, and thoroughly satisfied, BUT with a bill over a hundred dollars, I’d hardly call it a reasonable happy hour. This is good for a couple of drinks on an afternoon, but there are better options out there if you want to find them.

Made a reservation for a quick trip here with 6 of my colleagues for lunch during a conference at the convention center(5 minute walk away). We asked for separate checks for lunch to ease the process of reimbursement with our company. The waiter said he’d be happy to do it but the manager, Tina, came out a few minutes later to claim that it would«crash the system» to give us separate checks. We then observed three other tables receiving separate checks for their groups. Hardly the end of the world but was certainly annoying and unprofessional. The server(Brandon) was handsome and efficient and the food was good. The French fries, with sage, were a unique experience.

I want to preface this review by saying my opinion of the restaurant has absolutely nothing to do with the hotel it’s self and the hotel staff… They were all great! Minus our sever… We had spent a long day at Disneyland, we were tired and hungry. My husband wanted to check out this place because it was conveniently located in our hotel. This is a Monday evening at 8:50. Not a whole lot going on. We were seated by a very nice guy, too bad he wasn’t our server! We sat for at least 10 – 15 minutes before our server DJ came over to our table. There were maybe nine other people on the patio. There were three servers plus our server, DJ standing just through the doorway to go into the kitchen area of the restaurant, just standing around chatting. Doing nothing. When DJ finally approached us he literally threw coasters on the table and said«what can I get you?» We’re on vacation, we’ve saved money to burn. We were looking for a nice meal. This place is NOT cheap! Meals in the 20 – 35 dollar range. Why on earth would I want to spend that kind of money with service like this? I wouldn’t! And I didn’t! After noting how long he took to get to us, the other guys just standing around not caring that we’ve sat there unattended for 15 minutes, and then being treated like garbage I decided to just order a coke, even though I really wanted a beer and food. Our drinks took another 10 minutes. My coke was filled maybe ¾ full. Really? Was it too exhausting to fill the whole glass? DJ dropped off our drinks, no ask if we needed a menu, which I didn’t want one at that point because I was not spending another cent at that place! My husband finished his beer, and we sat. And sat. And sat some more. I had to flag him down from checking his phone behind the bar to ask for the check. The place wasn’t even busy! It was dead! We were flat out ignored and treated like crap. I couldn’t believe that this kind of service was coming from a more upscale place. We were willing to spend $ 30 a plate, plus a few drinks each. We easily could have spent $ 100 and given a pretty good tip, to our server if he deserved it. It really makes me wonder about these«good» reviews. Maybe we got the B squad that night, who knows! But those kind of servers should not even be in the hospitality/customer service industry. Totally disappointing! We went back to our room still hungry, looked through the menu book provided by the hotel, and ordered Mexican from Mi Casa down the street, it’s was delivered to our room, the employees were super friendly, the food was DELICIOUS(see review) and it cost all of $ 24! Much better choice than the Tangerine Grill. I should have talked with the manager, but I felt it was a lost cause. Like I said, the front desk staff and Bellman were great, very attentive and friendly, especially the guy who was sitting at the table to the left when you walk in the lobby. They should teach these guys a few lessons about customer service!

This is such a quaint little place. My cousin and I had just ran a half marathon at Disney. The Tangerine Grill & Patio was on the way to our hotel. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and immediately seated, since it wasn’t really crowded. Great for us, as we were starving! Breakfast was being served. They have a nice selection of items to choose from. I got the Ranch House Breakfast, which consisted of 2 eggs cooked any way I want, 2 meats, toast and a side of breakfast potatoes. The cousin got the Bacon Avocado Omelette with fruit, sans bread. The food was good, filling and relatively inexpensive. The servings were generous. No complaints here. The restaurant was clean and the room is spacious. They didn’t feel the need to cramp as many tables as they could in the amount of space that they have. Service was fairly quick. It didn’t take long for our server to take our order and bring out our food. Another plus was that our waitress asked if we wanted to go coffee cups to take with us when we leave, in case we wanted more. We’ll be back in May, when we run our 10k and half for Tinkerbell. I even booked a room at the Anabella, for our convenience. Looking forward to coming back here.

This was our 1st pit stop after driving for 6 hours. Thank you Tangerine Grill & Patio for having very good tangerine margaritas. The glass should of been a bit larger but it’s ok. Coconut Crusted Shrimp was very good especially the tangerine sauce it came with. Calamari — Meh I’ve had better Pear and Gorgonzola Flat Bread — Don’t do it. Build Your Own Burger — Where’s the beef? Did I mention the Tangerine Margarita?
