Love the Book Cellar! Great staff, nice location, and the best Earl Grey Late(way better than Starbucks)!

I wish this place was closer to my apartment! It’s a great place to study, there’s plenty of seating and outlets. The barista that helped me out was really nice. I told her it was my first time there and she helped me pick out a drink. I got the white mocha, no whip. Great coffee as well. WiFi is free, there’s little handouts you can grab at the register. There’s plenty of parking, only thing is that I guess it shares a building with a school so there’s kids coming in and out. This place closes early on the weekdays so if you’re leaving around late afternoon, you may bump into some traffic of parents picking up their kids. Other than that, it’s an awesome study spot!

I was pleasantly surprised with the delicious latte I got! The Book Cellar is a nice café at the Vineyard church and there is a lot of places to sit. I got a regular latte and it was very very good! At under three dollars for a small, I would not mind this fantastic latte each time I swing by the post office just across the street!

I came to the Anaheim area yesterday because I had to take an exam out here. I came a few hours early just so I could review over my notes so I Unilocaled this place out. This place was very peaceful and when I came in there were only two others there. There was christian music playing in the background. People were coming in and out to get there drinks and what not. When I left there were about 4 others sitting. When I first walked in, I was greeted with a friendly, «Hello!» Such a nice way to start the day :) SEATING: In the café there are… — 4 large round tables with five seats around them. — 4 small booth/tables — 1 large booth/table — 3 couches — 1 three seater, one two seater, and one, one seater Just outside the café(lobby area)… — Three large tables DRINK/FOOD: Chai tea latte. I didn’t really taste the Chai as much, it was a bit bland for me, but I realized it had more of a vanilla taste to it and it grew on me as I drank it. From the looks of it, there isn’t much of a sandwich or lunch options. They did have a lot of pastries. LOCATION: It is located just off the freeway and it is inside a church :) PARKING: A lot, a lot of parking so no need to worry about that.

Iced Americano with sugar-free hazelnut and soy milk. ugh I’m in love. Starbucks ain’t got nothin’ on the coffee here! After Paradise Perks in Irvine shut down, I’ve been coffee shop hopping EVERYWHERE around OC to find a better study spot with decent coffee. I finally found it(after I finished finals lol), and their coffee surpassed my expectations. Definitely wasn’t expecting them to have the sugar-free option, but it seems like they have a variety of add-ons to customize your drink to your liking. The only downside is that they close too early for my nocturnal study habits :(. Perfect study atmosphere, friendly staff, good coffee, clean environment. What’s not to like?

Great find! Close to my house and PLENTY of room to work. Coffee is 4 stars good. Amenities is worth 6 stars! Lots of tables, booths, couches, chairs… I’m sure they’re packed when church gets out but all the other times it’s delightfully light in traffic. Easy to focus and work. I found my new quiet place.

I’m so excited I found this place! Literally 5 minutes away from my work office. Clean, quiet, and decorated beautifully. Perfect to study or read or relax. Love the atmosphere. Plus my latte is delicious and I didn’t have to wait in a crazy long line like Starbucks. This place is a real gem, can’t wait to come back.

Lovely place. Connected to a Christian bookstore, so Christian music is playing in the background(but thankfully, not the cheesy kind). I went on a weekday morning, so it is wasn’t too busy. Great décor, but even better coffee. I ordered a vanilla latte(med: $ 3.35), and was very impressed! Especially since I’m picky with my coffee. I’ll definitely be coming back sometime. :)

GREAT spot for group meetings, studying and reading. The service is always great! Great prices for food and drinks. However, if you are coming here for quality baked goods and coffee then this is not your place. Their baked goods are bought from Costco(pretty sure) and the coffee is average. But, I will keep on coming back because of the great space and layout of the place.

Nice off-the-beaten-path rest stop if you are seeking refuge on a busy day… as we all should since we are SoCalizens chasin’ that pungent, yet oh so titillating Pont l’Eveque(cheese)! This caffein safe-house is definitely off grid. tucked away at a corner of a Christian School. It is not where people usually come to seek their latte fix. It is not packed like the usual coffee houses, unless you come at 2:30-ish when school is out. Then you are pretty much drowning in a sea of juvenile chatter and pre-pubescent angst! But do not let your hatred for kids or the fear of God(remind you, this is a Christian Store/Coffee Pub) keep you from burrowing into the dark and murky undertow of Unilocal.Come and enjoy a Vanilla Latte with me!

I’m not sure how I ended up here but I’m glad I did! I ended up studying here for 3 hours. I’m not a big coffee drinker so I just had an iced soy chai latte which was not the best chai latte I’ve ever had but pretty good. PROS: — Friendly service — Nice, calm music(didn’t realize it was going to be all Christian music, but I didn’t know any of the lyrics so it wasn’t distracting haha:) — Comfy seats. lots of seating options… couches, small tables, large tables, counter top -$ 1 off coffee drinks when you check in. –Natural light coming in through the windows. CON: –Since it’s right next to the church and 2 schools, there were a lot of kids there in the afternoon waiting to be picked up. Some of them were loud/distracting, but by 5ish they were all gone and it was quieter. –They usually close at 5 but today I got lucky since there was a special event so they were open until after 7.

I really enjoy their skinny vanilla lattes — they know how to make them without that ‘sugar-free’ aftertaste — makes me happy!

Coffee was… good, mild, not the strong brew I wanted. But I also didnt ask the barista to guide me in selecting. This coffee shop is inside the corner of a Christian bookstore. Lots of places to sit. All the reading material was Christianity centered. Obviously, and not a bad thing, just limited offerings. People stared at us. I think we were the only ones there not part of the next door church crowd. Very noisy. Won’t be coming here again.
