Love the atmosphere! I was able to work for a few hours while enjoying a latte– I highly recommend the maple spice flavoring, it’s wonderful! The employees were pleasant and attentive, and I felt inspired by the local artwork displayed on the walls, and cozy in the living room style furniture. I’ll definitely be coming back to this spot!

This is located in a small shopping center off of Northern Lights Blvd. and Minnesota behind the Arctic Rose Art Gallery and across from the Alaska Club. The coffee shop is original in concept. The main seating area is a cozy living room style that extends into the art gallery. A great place to study with the free wi-fi or read a book for some down time. I ordered a delicious breakfast burrito with bacon, eggs, and cheese. It was the L’aroma bakery brand which was huge and very filling. Their coffee drinks are good here as well. Café D’arte coffee has always been one of my favorite brands. Customers can also get a punch card for future visits but instead of keeping it in your wallet or purse, they will stamp it and file it in a black box under your last name. If you’re into the arts scene, a lot of local artists paintings adorn the entire place along with some Alaska type arts and crafts. Employees are super friendly. Definitely a hidden gem if you can’t stand the noise and crowds of Starbucks at Barnes and Noble or Kaladi Bros. across the street next to Tidal Wave Books.

Nice place that is well hidden across the street from the Alaska Club West on Northern Lights Blvd. awesome small but warm quaint coffee lounge. They serve Café D’arte coffee which is great coffee, pre made salads & sandwiches, chocolateshj, biscotti, cookies, fruits, bagels, muffins. Just a great quiet coffee lounge.

Cute little café that really is what it claims to be… a lounge. Boheme invites you to sit, for hours if you want, and read, relax, converse, study. I love the big cushy armchairs by the fireplace. The café is owned by the adjacent Arctic Rose gallery, so ambiance is the name of the game, more so than the coffee. Coffee is good, but can’t compete with the likes of Café del Mundo and Steamdot. But it’s certainly the kind of place I look forward to spending many hours relaxing and studying at. They also have a limited availability menu of tasty preprepared food items from places like L’Aroma. I hope this place is successful because the people are nice, the coffee is good and the local art is fantastic. Definitely the kind of place that makes Spenard special.
