I live in California and needed to send a delivery to a friend at Alaska Regional Hospital. I searched Unilocal and this place had the best reviews… so I called them and spoke with Katherine/​Catherine who helped me from beginning to end. She was super pleasant and very helpful and extremely accommodating! My friend in the hospital had his procedure later in the day and hadn’t been assigned a room yet. Katherine/​Catherine called the hospital several times to check on the room assignment. She was always a step ahead of me and knew what was going on. I appreciate her and I appreciate Hummel’s. My friend loved his delivery (plant/​ballon/​stuffed animal/​card). He was surprised! Thank you so much to Hummel’s! Please give Katherine/​Catherine employee of the month, a bonus and a raise!!! I called to get flowers Delivered to my friend for her birthday. The delivery was SO fast and I even accidentally gave them the wrong address and but they were so nice and accommodating. My friend posted a picture of the flowers and they were soooo beautiful and fresh! Just amazing.

Absolutely spot on — I have been working with Hummels for a decade, and I am always impressed with the owners willingness to take a minute to help out, whatever the question or request.
I have a lot of respect for a hands on owner, and for anyone that works as hard as he does.
I will always use this place as my first option for flowers, whatever the occasion.

I purchased a bouquet of flowers for my sister’s birthday to be delivered at her work today. For me, Hummels is just the best flower shop in Anchorage when it comes to providing excellent customer service and providing quality work even on a budget. Did everything over the phone for a delivery to be made the next morning. Quick, accurate and very friendly. The flowers looked exactly as seen on the website. If you want it to be done right, choose this place. Girlfriend was very happy when the flowers arrived :)

We went through Hummel’s for our wedding flowers and we were NOT left disappointed! My partner and I love to support local businesses and I can definitely say that we will never go through anyone else ever again. Mineko is such a nice lady and really delivered and as a wedding planner I have high expectations! Also, the price was great! I just really can’t say enough about them and the service they provided to us. A+ work!

Second time ordering, second success. Accidentally ordered the same arrangement as last time, called about a week ago to cancel and reorder. Instead the owner introduced himself over the phone and said he would be glad to just design something for the same price. I agreed, expecting him to forget in the pre Mother’s Day shuffle. They arrived today, and were even more gorgeous than I could have imagined! Fantastic work, great staff. This place NEVER disappoints! Thank you Hummels, you have a life long customer!

I’ve ordered from Hummels for a couple years now, and the recipients have all been very appreciative of the quality of the flowers and the beautiful arrangement. From what I can tell from the photos that usually get texted or emailed back to me, the arrangement matches the photos exactly. The staff at the counter is very friendly and the website is very simple to use. I always use Hummels for every floral delivery within Anchorage.

2011 Valentine’s Day — Ditto! Gorgeous red roses on a below zero day, delivered to my downtown office and they opened right up and stayed nice all week long! Hummel’s is consistently good!

Hummel’s did the flowers for my wedding and I couldn’t be happier. They all turned out so beautifully. They were very flexible with what I wanted and got some exotics that I’d been itching for in perfect condition. I loved that all the bouquets were unique and different for each purpose (i.e. bridal, bridesmaid, etc.). They were great about being on time the day of the wedding and took care of everything.
