I decided to eat breakfast at The Café this morning. I had the Denver omelet, hash browns and toast. This meal was the most generic food I’ve had in a long time. The omelet was lightly filled with small pre cubed ham and peppers and had that oily generic Sysco flavor. Eggs appeared to be mass produced product that comes in a container ready to pour. The hash browns tasted like cardboard soaked in Sysco oil spray. Most $ 14 meals I purchase comes with 2 pieces of toast. This meal only had 1 but it was great Rye bread that was the highlight.
Service was excellent. To bad they have to serve such horrible food.
The Capt Cook hotel is a nice place. They should do more to make sure their restaurants are providing quality food.

If you’re staying in the hotel, it’s a great convenient place to get breakfast/brunch. However, if you have time you might as well walk a block and check out Snow City Café for some better brunch.
Waitress here was incompetent, but otherwise food was good.
