The service was awful. Walked in with my boyfriend and we weren’t even greeted by either of the barbers in there. The man said«are you andy?» we replied with no and he said«well…he’s priority so…» It was really awkward. We then looked to the woman who was eating her lunch right there. Which is so unprofessional and unsanitary. She agreed to cut his hair then completely BUTCHERED it. She had no idea what a high fade was. Which is a very common hairstyle. She didn’t listen to anything my boyfriend said and was so awful at cutting hair. She should not be cutting hair or be employed there. Overall it was terrible. I would never recommend that place to anyone.

George is a very nice fella and a great barber to boot. Be warned that he isn’t the only barber in the shop, though, and I can’t speak to the decency or the ability of anyone else there. The only reason that this place doesn’t get five stars from me is because it’s terribly expensive for a barber shop. Now, I know the fancy downtown hotel setting will drive up costs a fair bit and that everything is more expensive in Alaska, but $ 27 for a shampoo and a haircut is downtown megalopolis expensive. In short: great, if expensive, service.
