The Mustard Seed Salon

I went to this salon a few months back since I was interested in trying organic hair color. I called and left a message for an appt. It took the bulk of the day for someone to get back to me. When I did get someone, it appeared that she was trying to fit me into her schedule instead of vice versa and the gal was not happy that I wanted a later time than she suggested yet reluctantly agreed. Although she seemed like a nice person, she lacked confidence in her work. Already we were starting late. She did call to let me know before hand. Despite many years of experience, she seemed like a newbie and lacked interpersonal skills one would think a stylist should have. As we were already late of course my session would run into another. Apparently, the gal waiting was a regular and the stylist wanted to hurry up. Oh, your hair is in good shape no need for a cut unless you need one. Huh? I have an outgrown A line. Oh, I guess you need that leveled off. Yeah. Well, I should have stopped there because, while I did get a cut, it was a half-​hearted one that was rushed to accommodate a lateness my appointment did not create. Will not go back. The color faded, despite a wash only every 5 days, within 3 weeks.
