Bob Evans Restaurant

I stopped in for a quick breakfast on the way into work. The service was great. The food was fairly priced and all of it tasted good. I would recommend this location.

First and most importantly, the 3-​piece all-​dark Broasted chicken dinner for only $ 9.99 is the value pick on the menu. Period. Everyone knows that white breast meat is the second biggest fraud perpetuated on the American public post-​WWII, so the half chicken includes a breast which is a waste of money since I throw it out in the yard for the raccoons! No substitutions so get ready to have the white meat rammed down your gullet with the plunger!
So what is the deal with all the handicapped parking here? I came to an EMPTY parking lot at only 4:00 pm but every GD disabled spot was filled! Bollocks! WTF? I had to park in a regular space and hobble in with my leg brace and cane!!! FUBAR!

We are from the South and had never eaten at one of these restaurants but it was a great find. The food was very good and the staff was very friendly and I’m not sure what our servers name was but he was so helpful. We will stop here again.

We were on our way back from a basketball league in Fishers and stopped here because the ones in Fort Wayne have good food and fast service. Well — Not in ANDERSON!!! We were a party of 5 — not big by any means. Restaurant was pretty empty at 7:30 pm on Saturday evening. We sat down and ordered drinks. 5 minutes went by. Got our drinks and ordered. 25 minutes went by!!! No drink refills, no «how are you doing your food will be up soon» NOTHING. We finally got our bread and salads — the exact same time as our meals. I hate it when this happens. So — we eat our salads while our meals sit and get cold. YUK. No reason to complain to the manager — because he is the one that helped the server bring the food — pretty sad. Hard to tell how the food was originally, since it was cold and «gloppy’ when we finished our salads and ate it. I forgot — my son ordered the turkey dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy. The turkey came out without the mashed potatoes. The server said she would be right back with them. Well — she finally brought them out when my son was almost finished with his meal. Why weren’t the potatoes made at the same time? The turkey dinner comes with mashed potatoes. The server said they took longer because they had to come from «way in the back». WHAT? Way in the back of what — the STATE of INDIANA?
Needless to say — won’t be back — too bad because we drive this route every week and wanted to find a good, decent place to eat. We’ll have to keep looking — we will not find it at BOB EVANS.

We were going to go here for breakfast Saturday morning but ran out of time so we came for dinner instead. It is a chain but in the midwest only. The food was okay but nothing to brag about. They are best known for their breakfasts.
