Lee’s Moving

Lee’s did a great job for us with only one day’s notice (after another company stood us up). The two guys they sent were polite and efficient. Lee’s hourly rate is very fair and they give senior discounts. Don’t hesitate to use these movers.

I was doing a local move recently from Redding to Shasta Lake City. I didn’t want to bum moving help from friends (#aintnobodygottimeforthat), so I checked out a bunch of options – everything from renting a truck and paying random dudes on Craig’s List, to the other moving companies in town, etc – THEN I found Lee’s on Unilocal.Checked their website and some other places online, and they seemed plenty professional and had the best pricing of all the legit companies – Sold!
We had already packed all of the boxes in my apartment (so I can’t speak to their packing/​unpacking but I’m sure it’s fine too). Our job for Lee’s was basically to load all of our boxes and furniture on the truck, drive it to the new house, and unload it. The guys that came were nice, professional and worked without wasting time. We have more stuff than the average apartment dweller, and lots of heavy stuff too, so it was a full day’s work. No complaints, no moaning or groaning, no lagging or dilly-​dallying, no nothing but work out of these guys – and it was a hot, Redding summer day to boot. They were awesome.
The one POTENTIAL down side was that there were a couple of fees that hadn’t been mentioned or explained to me when I booked the job, so these fees took me by surprise when it was time to pay. HOWEVER, here’s why they still get 5 stars from me with no hesitation – they put the boss on the phone, and he waived the fees and squared it up in a heartbeat. Boom. Customer service and integrity on top of professionalism, hard work, and reasonable prices. Yes please! So fair notice – ask about any fees when you book, and then you’ll have no surprises and a great move.
Bottom Line? If I need to move again locally, I’ll use Lee’s; and if anyone I know needs to move, I will refer them to Lee’s (and because of my job, I know a loooooottttt of people around here), period. Great job, Lee’s! Keep it up!!!

I have moved several times in recent years and have had a wide range of experiences with movers. Without question, Lee’s Moving has been the best experience by far. The movers are thoroughly professional. They know the moving business inside and out. Not only that, they’re energetic and pleasant to have around.
