Publix Super Markets

My family and I really enjoy shopping here, the staff makes a trip to the grocery store a pleasant experience. The Pharmacy staff are exceptionally helpful and go out of their way to find coupons or discounts on the prescriptions they dispense. The store in general is very clean and well organized! This management team gets it.

In the past year or so, I have really become a Publix fan, especially of this location which is closest to my house. The store is always clean and well lit, and the the team members are always friendly, going out of their way to offer a smile and ask how you are doing. I find this to be unique among grocers these days, and Publix consistently does it. It is obviously part of the culture that they teach in their training program, and it really makes you feel welcomed in the store when all of the employees are smiling and saying hello.
I love the fresh breads. Enough said about that.
I don’t use the deli much, but I love the variety and freshness that it offers, and I know that it is a big deal to a lot of people. I am a big cheese fan, so the cheese selection is a plus for me.
I often buy from the seafood department, and while certain items like tuna are not on par with places like Whole Foods, neither are the prices, so I guess that is to be expected.
Publix is now the only place I buy steaks. I find that their ribeyes are superior to other grocers, and I appreciate the way the butchers will work with you to find just the right steak you are looking for.
I use digital coupons on my cell phone. It took me a little while to catch on how to use this feature, but once I did I find this to be a valuable savings tool.
And another service they provide is this: they take your groceries to your car for you. They don’t ask you if you want them to like some other grocers halfheartedly do, they simply do it. Of course, you can say that you don’t want them to do that and they will not do it, but the point is that they just DO it as a service to you unless you tell them otherwise.
Overall, I find that Publix is a cut above other grocery stores in many ways, and I recommend them without reservation. I will say that it took me a while to get used to and appreciate Publix because they are so different, but once I did I don’t see myself going back to other grocery stores. After Publix, Ingles and Bi-​Lo just don’t feel right anymore.
You know what they say…“Publix…where shopping is a pleasure.”

Stopped in to pick up dinner for 7. Had pre-​planned on Publix wings cause they’re the bomb! None were on display, so I asked the deli if they could make some. I was told they were out and had no more chicken wings in stock… to which I obviously replied…“You mean none? At all?” They assured me they didn’t and tried to send me to another Publix 15 minutes away. Are you kidding me? I just drove 3 hours to get in town and promised 7 people a hot dinner in 30 minutes or less because Publix always has it together. Minus 2 stars for unecessarily stressing me out.
Anyway, I checked with 2 managers who were standing near by and what do you know? A whole case of chicken wings appeared. To the management — thank you for quickly and professionally resolving the issue.
Rest of the store is clean and well organized as Publix usually is. They are still my favorite.
