Wok N Roll

Usually really good for American style Chinese. Not quite Chinatown style but it’s pretty fast and they deliver also. Very few members of the staff speak English fluently so like a typical Chinese takeout place is order by numbers unless it’s one if the more common menu items. Pricing is reasonable.
The fried dumplings are real pot stickers, not the deep fried crap most of the Chinese places serve in the South.

Decent place for Chinese food nothing special. There are several Chinese restaurants in Anderson better than Wok n Roll such as Empire and Master’s Wok to name a couple. It’s okay but nothing to write home about.

This is my rating just after getting off the phone. I am in town for work and i have been craving chinese. This is the only place that delivers to my hotel. When I called in, I was put on hold before I spoke a word. Then she asked me if it was for delivery or carry out, I said delivery, then she put me on hold again. It was very difficult for her to take my order and she even put me on hold again in the middle of me speaking! It seems the previous reviews are spot on about the customer service. I just hope its good food. I will try to update this when i get my food. If I dont update, then the food was good…

Pretty good! Nothing special but it’s good. The inside isn’t very clean but it’s ok, i don’t eat in dirty places and this is not dirty.

Good food. Good prices. Friendly people. We generally get take-​out from this restaurant. Definitely recommend this for Asian food.

I’m appalled by the lack of customer service. We called for a delivery order, and were told that since we were outside the 5 mile radius (0.6 mi outside to be exact) we needed to have our order be over $ 20. That was not a problem, and as we completed our order we were told it’d be 45 – 50 min. One Hour Later — a frenzied woman called to say our order was cancelled, we were too far, too bad, then she just hung up the phone. Since this call came from a cell, I called the restaurant to ask about the status. I was then told the ‘manager’ had decided it was too far, although our address had obviously been disclosed when we ordered. There was no offer to let us pick up the food, really no apologies offered at all that we were promised something and then told it wasn’t possible at the time it should have already been delivered. When I asked why we’d been told the policy was one way and then it changed, I was informed sometimes they say no and sometimes it is okay.
I can not believe how awful and curt this woman was and I can promise I will never step foot in this establishment again.

Terrible excuse for Chinese food. I will never go here again. I’m a college student and typically eat on campus and this was my first taste of Chinese in Anderson, it was a mistake. I had to wait 20 extra minutes after calling in my order ahead of time. I got the sesame chicken and was sick for the next two days. Thinking maybe I ate something on campus that wasn’t good, I decided to give it another shot and got some type of beef and broccoli, huge mistake. Again, I got sick. I will never go back to this place. Empire dragon next to Bi-​Lo across the street is MUCH better and actually authentic. If I could give this place a negative star, I would. Think twice before you go to Wok n Roll.

This place has terrible customer service!!! I spent $ 35 on a carry out order for my husband and I. When home, i found they has shorted me a order of teriyaki chicken. I called this place to let them know and just asked if they could take my name and give me a order the next time. I was told numerous times that I was wrong and I was only trying to get free food. I will never step foot in this awful place again.

The best Chinese food in Anderson County, bar none. Of course, I mean Americanized Chinese food. This is my go to. They also deliver– quickly, and free. Of course you should tip your driver generously for quick service. The people that work the counter actually speak English. If you frequent places like this, you know what a challenge language barriers can be. Not the case here and they even hire locals. Restaurant is always clean and doesn’t have the pervasive smell most Chinese places have. You can eat a meal and not walk out smelling like you’ve just been to, well, a Chinese restaurant. Food quality is second to none. I recommend the boneless spare ribs, a nice, sweet flavor, or the Sesame Chicken, but it is all good. If you want to splurge the dishes on the Chef’s Special section are gourmet quality. You would pay several times the $ 15 – 20 they charge in other markets. I also enjoy the House Special Rice and Lo Mein, which are great if you crave variety.

My 1^st visit. The wife and I ate in, every other customer we saw, took carry-​out.
The food was excellent, very large portions and not at all expensive. It was a lot more than we could eat.
Located in a strip mall next to a grocery store.
I would have given 5 stars but the tables needed wiping down and the salt shakers were dirty. I will eat there again.

We love Wok N Roll! Their service is always fast, their food is always hot and fresh. They deliver and ordering take out is even faster. Their lunch and dinner combinations are a specially good value. Big portions, definitely big enough to share between two people. As a vegetarian, all their bean curd options are specially welcome.

My wife and I are very particular when it comes to Chinese food. Wok-​N-​Roll has never let us down. We love the fact that they deliver, and we order food every couple of weeks. Always freshly cooked and delicious. The people at the restaurant and the delivery crew are always friendly.
I recommend giving it a try.
