I waited in the paint department half an hour, watched multiple associates walk by, found one and asked them to call a paint person, then had to call the store two separate times to tell them no one had ever came and ask them to get an associate to come help me. They acted puzzled I would ask again and offered the reasoning«Well, I tried twice for you». Really? Cool. Real cool. Finally a nice older guy worker came and though kinda clueless about paint was super nice and I got my dang paint.

The facility was clean, and decently priced. Our art supplies we needed were extremely cheap, but oh my. I’m pretty sure this facility is what inspired the people of Walmart website. People on the motorized scooters crowded the place, as well as an obvious group of drug addicts with sores and missing teeth. And don’t even get me started with this one guy in the parking lot who didn’t have correctly sized clothes for his weight. Anderson definitely has a very INTERESTING population, and Walmart clearly doesn’t care who they let in.

Struggle for savings. Long lines, slow cashiers. No tablets on display. And an idiot yelling and checking receipts slowing you down one more time before you leave the store. Parking lot is sketchy and full of beggars.

I wanted to share my appreciation for the Asst. Mgr., Jon, who helped me today ‘pre order’ a large quantity of school supplies for our elementary school. He was patient, attentive and detail oriented. He shared that he is new to this store and his position. I believe that they made a GREAT hire in bringing Jon to this Wal Mart store. As we were leaving the store, we noticed that he was working alongside several staff members in unloading a pallet of apparel and organizing a display. Great work ethic and«can do» attitude!

Wow… This Walmart was um «interesting.» Like the other Unilocaler wrote; it is a fantastic place to go if you want to do some people watching a la Honey Boo Boo come to life. I didn’t realize it was so backwoods in California… I would expect a Walmart in no-mans land parts of Alabama to be like this… Friday night and it was packed. We had to stop in to pick up s’mores ingredients for our glamping trip and my friend and I quickly got our goodies and eyed the lines. Express line had 8 carts. The non express line next to it had half a conveyor belt open. Score! We quickly snuck in since people here waddled around slowly. I loaded up the conveyor belt and then realized that the behemoth of a woman in front of me was stocking up for armegeddon. She had 48 cup of noodles, a mountain of orange colored frozen dinners and a huge ass box of burritos(to match her huge heiney). She spouts off to the cashier and states: «imma gonna piss in mah pants! i need to go pee!» so she waddles off to the bathroom. I exchange looks with my friend and realize that this line didn’t turn out to be so quick after all… We were definitely going to have to wait for her to waddle her behemoth butt back to pay… Ironically she had so many frozen items that by the time she waddled back, the checkout person was still scanning… which then led her to squawk«oh! you’re still scanning!» which then we glanced over jealously to the express line and noticed that the 8 carts had already gone through and another 8 carts were getting rung up and giggled. Go figure for Murphy’s Law to bite us in the arse. Behemoth Lady some how thought we were laughing at her and decided to turn around and cuss me out calling me a stupid B****. Wow… Classy. Sure enough. Karma bites her in her big lumpy rear. Her welfare card had 0 funds on there. Karma… Karma… Thankfully the cashier suspended it and told her to haul ass over to customer service to deal with it. The classiest person here that we ran into was our lovely cashier. Otherwise this place was a zoo. What amazed me: 48 cups of noodles 40 frozen dinners 36 frozen burritos 4 boxes of baby wipes More frozen foods and other goods. Total for her was $ 120 bucks. Dirt cheap. I can’t get out of Costco with less than $ 150 on a regular trip with waaay less stuff! If you want to see big rears, wife beaters, and lumps and bumps, stop by here on a Friday night…

This place does nothing to discourage beggars and homeless people from trolling their parking lot day and night. Any day of the week when you try to go in the door you are hounded by people wanting you to sign a survey, which is greatly annoying. I don’t go to the grocery store to hear about somebody’s cause or to sign a stupid survey or to be nearly mugged by a drunk homeless guy or some tweaked out skinny toothless chick. They do not allow their employees to do much of anything about shoplifters, so you might as well just fill up your cart and walk out the door. This affects the prices that honest customers pay. The only thing good about them is that it boosts your self esteem to go there because Sweet Jesus above, at least I’m not THAT guy!

Good for people watching if you like seeing gross people, weirdos, freaks or tweakers. There are a lot of tweakers wihich sometimes makes for interesting though chaotic episodes in store. Usually out of a lot of stock. Store is not clean, and bathrooms are horrific. Do not use the restroom there unless you have no other choice. So gross. Staff are super unfriendly; not helpful or happy, ever. Super slow check out people. I would never again buy meat or produce here either and have had milk spoil 2 days after I bought it. The reason I added an extra star is because the vision center is very nice, staff there are helpful and friendly and the prices are good there.

This one is cleaner than redding wal mart. Its also bigger. They have a lot more things. They are more pricey than redding but sometimes it is worth the drive because redding is a drag. Only thing they haven’t updated the registers and its cramped.

I have been shopping at this Walmart for about a year and a half. I am always asked if I need help finding product and greeted all around the store. I appreciate everyone’s positive attitudes and willingness to help. I rarely am unhappy with my shopping experience here. Great work Anderson Walmart!

It doesn’t matter the time of day, week, or month you will always be waiting in a long line in the Anderson Wal-Mart. After this afternoons experience, I had to calm my anger by writing this review. I had four items in my cart and chose to stand in the shortest line(4 deep). I stood there in silence for 15 minutes staring at the 3 quarts of ice cream being purchased by the older lady in front of me. She was not happy but was too polite to show her frustration. I, on the other hand, told her that it was wrong for her to have to wait so long while she purchased frozen goods. Wal-Mart get your act together and open more lines at all times. People of this town are waiting so long they are beginning to hate your store.

I once really disliked Walmart because it moved into my small hometown and put everything small out of business. But there is a reason it’s king and moving out of said small town has proved that. It really is a great convenient way to shop.

Teach the employees how to be customer friendly. I get an attitude because they have one. They should be thankful they have jobs. So show it!

Was in town visiting relatives recently and O M G. — This is like a super wal-mart. It even has produce area with fresh produce!!! It’s hilarious. There is a subway and spa treatment place in here as well. Why can’t we have a wal-mart like this in the bay? Jeez. LOL Super hilarious was the characters that were shopping in this joint aside from myself. I thought i seen it all. The last Unilocal review before mine pretty much mentioned it well enough. The merchandise was very selective and some items were pretty lame and generic but well reasonably priced. Service was helpful and friendly. I would come back and shop here again. My take, 3 out of 5 stars!

Very large, well stocked store just off the highway in Anderson, lots of parking. Includes large center and pet department which are plusses for me. Large craft and home décor area with lots of options. Staff in many parts of the store was friendly, checkers at the registers were not. Greeter in garden department entrance was the nicest I have ever experienced. Garden dept. was well stocked in comparison to other Walmarts. Restroom very clean and orderly. The shopping center in general is declining with over 80% vacant fronts. Landscaping is also parched and dry which is sad, since a small amount of irrigation would go a long way. Shopping center offers a large Starbucks plus a Sonic Burger that is busy. Center is adjacent to Shasta Premium Outlet Center.
