Oh, this place is such class! It’s had a rocky relationship with this area, on its second or third owner by now, but the Roasted Problano White Chedder Soup, and the Tomato & Basil Bisque are so sooo yummy. There is a third soup, not looking at menu now and I don’t remember what it is. Why bother when the Roasted Problano White Cheddar is the best? They have nice wines, as well as salads, sandwiches and entrees. I’ve had their Salmon. the Chicken Fontina, and this last time I enjoyed an «Atkins» style modification of the Mahi Mango Sandwich — no bread and extra veggies. Was wishing for more mango to zip it up but I really enjoyed the dish. At first, when we came here a few owners ago, I was thinking the appearance was that that they weren’t giving us much food for the money. I’ve since come to realize they are using fresh whole foods and so I am nourished without that feeling that I have to stuff myself. Call ahead if you have a group of 6 – 10 or so, as they will need to cobble the tables and chairs for you. If the weather is nice, there are a few tables out in front. There is an interesting cheese appetizer that was more than enough to share with two people. The asparagus side is nice too! So we look forward to coming back here again!

Alright so me and my wife have been eating here every now and then for a year and it is definitely one of our favorites places. The staff is always friendly, the food is amazing, and the main reason why i love it… consistent. We all have those restaurants that have great food but have their bad days. So far i have no encountered a bad day. So whenever we eat here we always get the same thing. We split a bomb chicken sandwich and the Cubano with chips. She recently tried the pablano soup which she loved and i get the cannoli for a dessert. This place will continue to get our business.

Consistently some the best food you can get in the Wichita area. Good prices and service, I’ve never had anything bad here.

Hidden gem in Andover! Service has always been really good. My favorite dish is the salmon with arugula salad. They have a handful of wines. My only complaint is that the white wine glasses are chilled like beer glasses & I’m not a fan of a frosty glass of wine. Definitely go with nice weather & enjoy your meal out front!

We were just informed this place is now called the Metro Bistro. We had a coupon with the old name on it. The waitress said the name change was over 8 months ago, but since we are the only ones in the place, she said she would accept the coupon. Prices here are sort of steep. A burger is $ 10 and a plate of pasta is $ 8.95. Add meat to it for another 4.95, so it’s not cheap. The menu is 3 pages, but everything is typed out in a large print to make you think there is more than 5 or 6 items on each page. We selected ice water. Not even going to bother with drink prices. The staff is friendly and chatty while preparing your food. Portions are decently sized. Presented well. The pink sauce on the Pasta dish is incredible! The bowl is filling. Husband says the sandwich is worth the value.

I want my last meal on Earth to be from here. A mango mahi mahi and flan. I can still remember when I first got my braces off. The first thing I wanted to do was eat a mango mahi mahi. I was so happy that I couldn’t stop smiling and the owner looked at me and said, «You have a beautiful smile. Never stop smiling!»

Fantastic place to stop in for a quick lunch or dinner. At this point I think I’ve had everything on the menu and it’s all fantastic. I especially recommend the Cuban sandwich.

This place is such a diamond in the rough! It has delicious, unique, and healthy food. Surrounded by greasy fast food, it is definitely worth a few extra dollars and the online ordering is super easy.

Great restaurant and great service. Not your typical menu. Will definitely come back.

I was hesitant given that nothing about Andover is Metro. The décor reflects this as it’s more like tired 80s than hip modern. But that’s not why you’re here, now is it? The food was what I think of as excellently mediocre. They’re trying to be more creative and it shows, and it almost even works. But not quite. I got the impression that the ingredients and execution weren’t quite up to the ambitions. All of that aside, it’s nice to have something a little different, and I would WAY rather eat here than the Applebee’s across the street. We will probably be back because, ironically, Andover lacks the options of somewhere more… metro.

Good sandwiches for sure! Clean place and nice people from my experiences. Little pricey though but understandable for a not-the-run-of-the-mill sandwich.

Nice little restaurant if you want great food that isn’t a fast food restaurant. I always get the aoli pasta with chicken. It’s very nicely seasoned and had a little kick. Service is always good!

We’ve eaten here for years, but probably won’t again. Each time we go in, the waitress asks us if we want a menu – and we like the menu to see what new offerings there may be. Menus should just come to the table without patrons asking. But tonight, we got the menu but the entrée ordered was not as described. The Philly Steak was supposed to come with shoestring potatoes. Got a sandwich with a few small chips on it. I asked the waitress where the potatoes were – to which she replied their provider doesn’t give them shoestring potatoes anymore so they put chips on the sandwich. This change was not noted on the menu nor did the waitress utter a word when I ordered it. And the paltry chips on this sandwich don’t add up to a serving of shoestring potatoes. It was misrepresented. All it takes is a magic marker to change the menu to what is actually offered.

My wife and I decided to eat here not knowing anything about it. To say the least we were not disappointed. I had The Real Cuban and my wife had the Philly Steak, both were delicious. We also ordered the Caprese salad to share, which was also delicious. It is small but cozy more than cramped. It’s a relaxed atmosphere with soft music playing in the background. It has a small kitchen so there was a bit of a wait for our food, so if you’re in a hurry it’s probably not the best place to stop. But if you have a little time it’s well worth it. The waitress was friendly and attentive. I would recommend this for anyone looking to eat fantastic food in a comfortable atmosphere.

Terrific little restaurant off the beaten path. We had the aioli pasta, house salad with chicken and the brusco sandwich. They were all beautiful to look at and delicious. My only critique might be my salad was slightly over salted. Wonderfully polite server too.

Great place to eat in Andover, good, memorable, unexpected food. The only complaint I have is that it doesn’t have good ventilation so I smell like the place every time I leave.

Somehow the cooks are able to put ingredients together that I would normally cringe thinking about and they turn it into the most fantastic meal! I suggest the Cuban sandwich with a cup of the poblano soup or the mozzarella caprese with chicken

Try the Poblano soup! It’s amazing! Sandwiches are very good too. It’s the only good restaurant in the area. Friendly staff also.

Wow! Amazing food! What a nice treat on our long road trip. Glad we looked places up instead of just doing the olé fast food off of the highway. Clean, nice décor, friendly service. Great place!

A friend too me to lunch here today. It’s a cute little spot in Andover. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. I had the mozzarella caprese and a cup of their soup. I don’t know if it’s the same soup every day– it just says«soup» on the menu. The caprese was delicious– very fresh! The soup was my favorite part. It was a spicy cheese something or other– I did not catch the name. I twas served with two toasted slices of thick french bread. We split a dessert of the brownie cheesecake. It was much, MUCH more brownie than cheesecake, so that was a disappointment for me. If you’re more into brownies than cheesecake though, you’ll love it. I thought it was a tiny bit pricy for what we got. It took awhile to get seated and served, even though the restaurant was mostly empty when we were there. If you have time and love soup, give them a try!
