In the fall 2015 I bought a groupon for $ 83 for a medical peel. After repeated calls and being told that the aesthetician left I am still waiting for a refund. Beware!!!

I go back on everything I previously wrote. Why you ask? The doctor we’d been seeing moved on. I get a call Monday regarding Saturday’s appointment. Are you telling me that the doctor just«walked» with no notice? I wish I knew where the doctor moved on to ’cause my family needs a new eye doctor now. I get a call less than a week before the three Saturday appointments(back to back) I’d set up over a month ago for myself, my husband and my son. Do you know how hard it is to book three appointments in the same block on a Saturday when your daughter does dance, your son does karate, your husband works nights and needs to sleep late in the mornings and you are running around like a nut case taking care of all of this. I booked things around these appointments because seeing the eye doctor is more important than a mani/pedi appointment or any other similar«pretty» appointments. This was the second time in less than a year that I’ve been«rescheduled.» When I indicated this to the office she tried to «rebook» me. However, she didn’t even realize she was rebooking a family of of three appointments. What was she going to do, call me three times to rebook us? So a July appointment for my family was about to turn into a September appointment to make it work for my calendar(something I’d already worked out if they’d only kept the appointments as is.) I informed the woman not to bother and that I’d be taking my family to another doctor’s office — one that actually keeps appointments. This prompted the office manager to call me back to try and resolve the situation. I’m at work while all of this is going on. I inform the office manager that I couldn’t entertain the conversation since I was at work. She says she understands and lets me go. So with all of this the doctor calls. Again, he tries to keep my family there. He «agrees» to come in for the appointments as booked. At this point I start feeling like he’s doing ME a favor. REALLY??? I attempt to let the doctor go as politely as possible but he wouldn’t let me get a word in edge wise. I’m a receptionist. The office phone rang. I had no choice but I hung up on him. What does he do, he calls BACK and says that HE couldn’t get his side in. HELLO??? This is a doctor’s office — not a hair dresser. Keeping appointments is more important than not in this business. You want to reschedule my hair appointment — fine — annoying but easily done more often than not. You want to rebook an overdue eye exam because you did’t keep your last appointment — not professional. Think twice — that’s all I can say.

I went here for a routine eye exam. The staff was friendly and professional. I had an evening appointment which was convenient because I did not have to take time off of work. I was also able to order glasses onsite. The optician help me pick out a great pair of glasses. I would definitely go back next time I need a routine eye appointment.

I felt confident in the doctor’s capabilities. Just keep an eye on the numbers and follow-up actively if you need a call back from them. I got double charged twice — both times, I had to walk them through the math. I also asked for call backs on two occasions and received none. The front office people are friendly — the whole experience would be significantly better if they get their administrative processes and communications worked out.

They are definitely competent ophthalmologists and this is the place to go for serious eye problems and related medical conditions. We were very happy that they were able to see us on an emergency basis before we were existing patients— this is a very big deal and we are very grateful. However, the doctors and staff(yes, even the receptionist!) *routinely* arrive late to the point of being unprofessional and disrespectful. On my last appointment, I was double-booked(!) with someone else and the receptionist came in 5 minutes after us… and had to start the computer. The doctor then showed up ten minutes after that and crapped around for another ten minutes before seeing me. Two stars instead of 4 because this is so annoying.
