Homewood Suites By Hilton

Our toilet didn’t work. We told the front desk that it wasn’t flushing. They said they would take care of it. Upon returning to our room, it still didn’t flush and water was spewing over. We called the front desk immediately. In fifteen minutes we hear a knock at the door. We open it to find a lady standing outside with a plunger and a trash bag. She handed my husband the plunger and said «Here you go! This should take care it.» We were stunned. But we tried the plunger to no avail. They needed a plumber! We called again and she put us in a different room or «we could just go to that room across the hall to use the toilet.» Horrible service! I think this poor gal was working alone. We called Hilton Honors to let them know if this experience but haven’t hear back yet. I cannot believe this experience.

Stayed here overnight on a long drive over the holidays. The hotel is very nice with a warm inviting lounge area. The beds were super comfortable, nice décor in the room and bathroom, and the staff was professional and pleasant. We had been on the road all day, and popped in to the «happy hour», not expecting to get warm, filling soup, that was quite tasty. Will stay here again on our next trip through town.
