Only been through the drive thru but it was a good experience. The food was good. I like the slider concept. Decent prices.

First time at this Wendy’s since they remodelled. It’s very nicely done inside it almost looks like a hotel. The bathrooms are nice and clean. the interior of the restaurant does not match the food though. The burgers are good but when I am sitting here I expect something «fancier». Burgers are decent and the Bacon and Bleu burger on Brioche is pretty good. I don’t think it’s worth the price though. Took my son here and the bill for the two of us was almost $ 20. Next time i will take him to a sit down burger joint like Big City or Zombie Burger. If I had no choice though I would choose this spot over BK or the dreaded Golden Arches.

Its Wendys, a fast food burger joint without countless locations across the nation or world. This one does not standout from the tons of locations I’ve been to. I always thought Wendys restaurants were cleaner and have better tasting food than BK and Mcdonalds.
I’ve had no problems here, one of the only places open late in Ankeny… sometimes I don’t want Wendy’s, but there’s no where else to go.

I don’t know what more I can say about Wendy’s. I love the Frosties. Generally like the spicy chicken sandwich. And have always had fairly decent burgers and chili.
So I was on the way back from a weekend in KC and we stopped in at the Wendy’s off of I35 in Ankeny, IA.
Attempting to save a little after a rather expensive weekend, I ordered a couple of the Value Menu, Jr. Cheeseburgers, a small fry, and a frosty… Under $ 5?! Score!
I bounded out the door, got into my car and drove away… Hit the interstate… Broke open the bag, unwrapped one of my cheeseburgers… Took a bite… And… HOLY SMOKES! It’s not a burger, it’s a Killer Sodium Bomb! Unsure if I just got an over salted bite, I tried again… BLECH! SALT SALT SALT… This is the WORST cheeseburger I have EVER eaten. I tried a third bite just to make sure. Nope, I was right… This is simply one of the saltiest things I have eaten in years.
If I hadn’t have been hurtling north on the interstate for five to ten minutes already, I would have gone back and thrown those disgusting wastes of a $ 1.98 back at the server…
At least I still had a Frosty to enjoy.
