Glow Tanning

My friend recommended Glow to me. I don’t know a lot about tanning. I just know that I am going to Florida for spring break and I need to be prepared so I wanted a tanning membership. I did a little research on prices in the Ann Arbor area and found out that the VIP membership at Glow is the best deal in town.
The bonus part to going to Glow is that they are known for having the newest, and best bulbs… which I just found out makes a huge difference. I am happy with my decision to choose Glow and am super stoked for Florida!!!

I come here whenever I’m in town visiting my buddy. The staff is always super friendly and very helpful.
I have to tan in the wintertime to help my eczema, they are totally helpful with providing me with the necessary information on what lotions I can use and how long I should go in for. Great place!

Watch how much you spend on packages… even with highway construction and scheduling issues there are NO extensions on time for packages available. I had 8 visits remaining… have had family illness issues and when I asked could this be extended «NO! we don’t do that!» Guess they do not care…
Well — I don’t and won’t be taking my business back to this salon either! Sad, have been going there for a long, long time… even did a couple of spray tans there… NOT any more! Amazing how many people aren’t very good at looking for future business.

I really like this tanning place! I got a VIP special and had a month of level 1 but could upgrade for half off! Level 2 and 4 are the BEST! Very clean, great staff, great music. This is a great place if you need a tan!

Absolutely horrible business. The beds aren’t well taken care of and when I went in for the first time this spring, I was informed that my six prepaid visits had expired. When I asked how I was informed that they had an timeframe to be used, I didn’t get an answer. When I asked for a manager to follow up with me, I didn’t hear back. Stay away.

I have never spray tanned before. Going to Vegas and decided I did not want white legs! I did not want to go in a booth, I choose this salon because they have a person spray the tan on. I was a little hesitant but the lady who helped me, I believe her name was Julie was fantastic! She made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in the door! She knew what she was doing, and made my first experience a good one! I would go back in a heart beat and recommend anyone looking for a spray tan by a person, to go here!

This place is actually quite nice. very clean & incredibly knowledgeable & friendly staff. Equipment is well maintained & always sanitary. I would come here exclusively except that… I’m not a gazillionaire! I do understand that it costs money to run a small business & I’m sure the overhead for this particular location is pretty high. However, with tanning salons on every other corner, I would think they would try a little harder to keep their prices more competitive. I’ll go elsewhere in the future as I can find comparable facilities & equipment at much lower costs. By the way, what’s up with the Clinton location prices being sooooo much lower? How about, don’t take advantage of us just because we’re from the Ann Arbor area.

I came to Glow Tanning to spruce up my tan a little bit seeing as how I’ve been spending my summer in an office and haven’t gotten to be outside much. My first impression was that it was very clean and professional looking, kinda dark though. I went to the counter and the girl working greeted me and I told her I wanted a walk-​in tanning visit. She told me that my first tan was free at the lowest level of tanning bed (I think a $ 8 value) which I don’t know if that just means the strength of the bulb or what but that I could upgrade to a higher level for the difference in the price which I decided not to do and just take the free visit (A single visit for the higher levels of tanning were something like $ 11 or so). I then looked at the different packages they offered and they were pretty pricey compared to any tanning salon I’ve been at in the past. I’d say that’s the only downfall of this place was the high price. Therefore, I decided that I would take my free first tan and not come back. Otherwise a very nice tanning salon as far I saw in my one-​time experience. Still looking for a quality, affordable tan in Ann Arbor.
