Sun Tan City

We went in today and was treated rudely by the staff member. She talked down to us and acted like we were stupid over lotion. Just rude. Then after the visit I reported the fan wasn’t working, it was like I was bothering her with the issue. As I turned around, my wife caught her making a face at me. How juvenile.
I will say there is one young lady from Nashville that works there is awesome. She’s professional, friendly and helpful.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! The receptionists are so beyond rude and Un-​accommodating. Terrible attitude– not sure how they got hired or why they can get away with being so rude to paying customers.

I used to go to the Sun Tan City location on Main Street but they closed down on Christmas day with no warning. I went to this location after wasting my gas driving to the Main Street location. I was already upset about them giving me no warning beforehand and wasting my time.
There is this heinous pop music blasting in every room from a speaker by the bed with no option given to turn it off. I go tanning to relax after a long day and that is the last thing I wanted after already being upset. I just wanted my relaxing music I usually listen to at the end of a long day. I don’t care to hear your dumb advertisements after every song that plays either.
The Faster bed has these buttons to shut off the facial and bed, which were hard to find, but did not work when I tried to turn them off and my face was very burnt as a result. The worker said «you have to push the button hard». thanks for the warning, make a sign if that is the case because I didn’t want to break your crappy bed slamming buttons as I was unsure if they were even the correct buttons as they were not marked as such. At 1 point I got out of the bed and just stood there feeling dumb and unable to take off my glasses until the bed shut off. These beds are terrible compared to the other location and it is the least relaxing and serene tanning salon I have ever went to. Not everyone is as mainstream as you seem to think we should be.
Some of us actually go tanning for the Serotonin in the winter on depressing days and not to look like I rolled in Doritos or to turn into a leather handbag. I have hundreds of upgrades purchased and now I am forced to stay here or drive wayyy out of my way to Jackson Rd to try that place instead. After the upgrades are gone, I am done. Such a terrible experience. Do not force your music on me or make me spend more money for another bed when it should be the same Faster bed I used to use.
