Sophie is the best! I go there for shellac, and faithfully. She is so genuine and always treats me like a person, not a money machine. That is most important for me before any service. Even if a service is high quality, without that first filter, I could care less. What keeps me coming back faithfully, however, is the combination of her care for quality, the way she values me as a customer, and the fact that I LOVE my nails so much every time I leave there. I leave feeling like a queen ;). High quality service + genuine personality + gratitude for customers = Me satisfied and always coming back for more :).

I have sophie cut my hair every time I have the chance. She is great at cutting hair and respects my time.
I like the location too next to downtown so after my hair cut I got usually get some food.

Got my hair cut by Sophie today! She gave me some incredible layers and the bangs are perfect. She’s so friendly and the studio is tidy and clean. Highly recommend.

I used a groupon for shellac, and when I took out a $ 20 bill to tip her and asked for change. She miraculously only had large bills. She walked across to a massage place to see if they had change, and came back empty handed. When I got tired of waiting and said never mind, she pocketed the $ 20 and said, «OK!»

Sophie is nothing short of an artist! Even for a simple men’s haircut she sculpts every last tuft of hair to make sure nothing is out of order. She takes that extra bit of effort and pays an incredible attention to detail that makes you wanna come back each time for a haircut. She caters to her clients with hospitality, friendliness and professionalism. I happened to stumble into her salon through a Groupon deal and I haven’t even bothered visiting other salons ever since. Despite being busy, she always manages to somehow squeeze me in for a haircut even if I call in only an hour in advance. And the best part is, all of this is extremely affordable! Even for a student like me! Thanks a ton Sophie!

When I arrived, Sophie greeted me and started working on my hair straight away! She listened to my wants and delivered. The only downside is the parking in Ann Arbor is hell! Next time I will definitely find a parking garage, instead of street parking.

One of the most challenging aspects of moving to a new town is finding a new hair stylist. After checking reviews, I decided to go visit with Sophie. Suffice it to say I was very happy with that decision. The salon is smart, clean, and well organized. Sophie is extremely professional, and there was lots of communication about my goals and what she was doing to help me get the look I needed (given the raw material available!). I left feeling really good about my hair and she did a great job. If you are looking for a stylist who is both personable and professional, you should definitely go see Sophie. Thank you Sophie!

I have gotten many services from Sophie — highlights, hair cut, manicure, and facial. Each time I’ve gone, I have felt like I was getting personalized service by someone who really cares about her clients and her work. She has monthly specials as well. Recently I saved a lot of money on a seaweed facial and shellac manicure. I can save money while still getting top quality service and products. I bought a caviar leave-​in treatment for my hair from her, and it works great for my thin, dry hair — and it’s going to last a long while, so it’s worth every penny. All in all, Sophie is awesome and Salon 328 is the only place I’ll go in Ann Arbor for beauty treatment!

Got my hair cut/​highlights redone and very happy with the quality of the hair cut and highlights. I’ve been going to her for years now and never been disappointed with her work. Prices are good and I’ll be coming back. She does get busy so make an appointment.

Let me put it this way: I can’t afford a stylist, and I have a stylist. That’s how much I like Sophie. Not only is she funny, nice, and positively adorable, she really wants you to like your hair, so she really makes sure you’re getting exactly what you want. My appointments are always about an hour long for a wash/​cut/​style, that’s how meticulous and thorough she is. Sophie has taken care of my hair for a little over a year now, and today I got my favorite cut yet! I think that paying extra to go with a professional stylist rather than a chain haircut place is completely worth it, and Sophie is a wonderful person and a complete professional. Let her do your hair!

I’ve never had a «regular stylist» but when I found Sophie through a groupon deal at her old salon, I knew there was no one else I wanted doing my hair! I had decided to go blonde (being a natural dark brunette) and instead of doing it all at once and stripping/​damaging my hair, Sophie did it in steps, leaving me with still soft, healthy hair. I’ve never been disappointed with the results, over a year later and 12+ sessions. Sophie is a professional who I would recommend to anyone.
