I really like the Ann Arbor location but when it says it closes at a certain time on the automated phone message it isn’t correct. They closed 2 hours earlier than it says and a waste of a trip out there.

This is one of the most friendly, nice, and best tanning salons I have ever been to! Super affordable when it comes to single visits or monthly memberships. There are many ways of figuring out what bed you want to use, by doing the Tour of the city! You get one visit in every bed (4 UV & 1 sunless). This helps most people when deciding what membership they want! Also, you can upgrade, freeze, or cancel your membership in less than five minutes! Such an amazing tanning salon! I would recommend it to everyone!

I totally agree with Anna who gave this place a one-​star rating. These people are truly incompetent. When I signed up for one month on Sept 11, the person told me to cancel by Oct 11 to avoid extra month of payment. I emphasized with them that I was only interested in using the place for one month and the person assured me that was the case. I cancelled on Oct 9 assuming I would not be charged. I noticed a couple month later that they had charged my CC for $ 65. I went to talk to them today and they did not seem to care. When I signed the contract it was based on verbal information the person gave me. They never gave me a hard copy of contract so I trusted the information. At any rate, I am planning to dispute the charge with American Express so they can deal with these people. In addition the place has no manager so it’s difficult to deal with anyone as nobody is in charge.

Don’t go here. They charge you $ 21 every month & won’t refund you unless you call before the 1st. Everyone that works here is slow and incompetent especially when giving you the contract to sign. Waste of money and brain cells dealing with these people.
They don’t follow safety rules and never ask me if I have eye protection. One guy put me on the wrong room that hadn’t been cleaned and I had to go out after getting prepared to tan. If you want to speak to anyone over the phone you must go through many automatic messages & then are placed on hold for over 5 mins.
Prepare to be haggled to buy lotion for the first 5 mins you enter the place. $ 70 a bottle, uh no. Stop talking.
Oh and there’s that whole cancer thing that happens when you tan too. So I’m done.

LOVE the new sunless tanning system. It is not a totally enclosed booth, so you don’t feel like you are being gassed. Takes a while but gives the best most even coverage. Favorite part is the drying pass between applications. Gal at the desk was super nice and helpful in picking out lotions, explaining promos and getting me set up. Check out the City Tour special for $ 25. All five beds plus a sunless to use in 14 days, but you get to try all the beds to see which you like best to pick a monthly package.
