The food quality here is consistently good I have no complaints about that. If you come and use the drive-through, though, don’t come right at noon the drive-through will take 30 minutes. The drive-thru lane is not long enough for all the cars and it creates a bit of a jam.

Best Taco Bell there is. Always fast, courteous, and best of all, they’ve never got an order wrong or left something out of he bag. All I could ask for in a Taco Bell.

Ok, listen: I’m fancy, but nothing can beat a bean burrito with extra cheese. Man, oh man.

I have always had great experience at this taco bell. The service has always been amazing, especially in the morning. My husband and I would come here so often after we dropped off our kids to school. The morning team has always been so friendly. They greeted us. They know us by name. They know our usual orders. Special shout out to the morning team: Sam, Maddie and Ian. It is because of all of you, the morning team, we keep coming back. P. S. pleaseeeeee bring back the DIABLO sauce!!! I need it!

I just had the most amazing drive-thru experience hosted by the man who must be crowned king of the upsell. The cashier was so enthusiastic and encouraged me to try everything on the menu. Crunchwrap BLT slider?! Okay! Frozen Snapple Lemonade?! Why not? Everyone has their«thing» they get from Taco Bell. Crunch wrap BLT sliders and a frozen Snapple Lemonade are not on my lost of usual«things.» How did this master salesman make me break my Taco Bell routine?! When I completed this my order he wanted to know if I wanted any dessert. «No thanks. Do you see how much food I ordered?» «WHAT!!! No dessert?!» He was so excited for me to be ordering from Taco Bell late night on a Friday. I couldn’t disappoint him! «Ah… I don’t know… a gordita?!» «Chicken, beef, or steak?» «Ah! Steak?!» Yes, he convinced me to buy a steak gordita for dessert. And I have no regrets. The food was Taco Bell. If you are reading Unilocal for a review of the food quality, then you probably don’t want Taco Bell. I give 5 stars for great service!

I am surprised by the other reviews. I really enjoyed this Taco Bell. Recently when I pulled up the the drive thru menu I was enticed by the Triple Steak Stack promotional item. When I asked the man over the intercom if it was«any good» he quickly replied«Any good?!? It’s delicious. You should definitely try it out I highly recommend it.» The rest of our interaction through the ordering processes was entertaining and fun. My cashier Tom S. was incredibly friendly and enhanced my experience. The service I experienced with the help of Tom was some of the best I have had at any fast food restaurant. Before pulling into the drive through I was a bit rushed due to my tight schedule that night and was somewhat frustrated. After leaving the drive thru with my order I was wearing a smile on my face. I usually frequent the Taco Bell on Stadium Blvd. on the west side of Ann Arbor but I will definitely becoming back to this Taco Bell. This location is my new Taco Bell of choice in Ann Arbor even though it’s 10 minutes out of my way. It’s worth it.

Previous ratings are not representative, unfortunately. I’ve been a loyal customer of this location since 2003 when I got my driver’s license and the tyrannical reign of my parents over my eating habits came to an end. HEYMOM, YOUWEREWRONG, I’M NOTFATYET. But for real, this place has been consistently awesome for years. Staff is always super nice, food comes up pretty quick, and they’ve only gotten my order wrong once, but I’m pretty sure I was thoroughly under the influence of some… leisurely substances. Taco Bell, you get a fifth star when you bring back those chicken quesadillas that come on flatbread. See you soon.

No breakfast??? WTF??? Get with the times and serve some delicious a.m. crunch wraps. Michigan Taco Bell sucks. I guess I’ll go back to Illinois where a.m. crunchwraps are reign.

I’m shocked by the reviews on this page. Get off your high horse and cut Taco Bell a break. What were you expecting??? Escargot? Bruschetta? If you were to find yourself seeking fine cuisine in the style of Italiano, you wouldn’t go to Olive Garden. You go to Olive Garden because you want Olive Garden, or because you can’t possibly go a single meal without drawing all over a table. Still following? I digress… Should you still require Unilocal confirmation as you drunkenly stumble through the drive-thru: State Street Taco Bell is the best Taco Bell I have ever been to ever. I have frequented Taco Bells in many states of this fine nation, but have never been to one as inspired as this. Never have waited more than 4 minutes for my food(and I order a lot), and yet it always comes out freshly prepared. Let me repeat — freshly prepared. They should do Taco Bell trainings here man, I am telling you. Sometimes I wonder if I could go back again in a disguise to hide the shame of visiting more than once per weekend. YES, IT’S THATGOOD. #tacolust If you can find this place, which is strategically hidden from plain view, you will be rewarded handsomely in beefy, cheesy, crunchy treasure. For real.

It’s your average Taco Bell. I was there on a Saturday afternoon. It was dead inside. Normally during the week this place gets swamped with the business lunch crowd. My order was taken promptly, my food was served quickly. No complaints for a fast food chain.

This Taco Bell completely cracks me up it is almost always a total debauchery. I don’t really care because I take my toddlers here to kill time and they love eating inside Taco Bell, who doesn’t when you are 4 years old. Once we ordered 5 items and I joke you not, the wait was at least 15 minutes for our food. Last time there was a couple in their 40s making out in line while waiting for there food. All that craziness being said, the restaurant and bathrooms are always clean and they don’t mess up the order. They hire people with disabilities and no one working has ever been rude to the kids or me.

I’ve had my share of issues with this location in the past, but lately it has improved considerably. I haven’t had any problems with my orders, the food seems like it’s put together in a considerate way instead of it looking like it had been on a roller coaster, and the employees have all been very friendly. I’m not sure if the management changed or what, but whatever they’re doing it’s working.

Oh god, never ever ever again. I went at lunch on a weekday and there was a line to the door. First warning sign… I should have left! But I got lost trying to find the damn place(near invisible from State Street) and I didn’t have time to go anywhere else. I ordered my food at 1:08. My order was taken by a mentally challenged cashier. Normally, these situations brighten my soul: companies giving handicapable people real jobs that bring them normality and sense of responsibility. My problem is the fact that this poor girl took over 5 minutes just to enter my order. No exaggerations… more than 5 minutes. She repeated my order back to me after each item I stated I wanted, then took a few moments to ring it in, then again, repeated my entire order at the end. The process was so slow and painful. Shame on this Taco Bell for putting this girl in the position of rush-hour cashier. She was obviously overwhelmed(like anyone would be) but her handicap only led to more frustration from her and anger from the customers. So, my receipt says I ordered at 1:08. Want to know when I got my food? Do you? 1:23. 15 minutes for 3 Doritos tacos. THREEFREAKINGTACOS. I can’t blame the food wait on the cashier. It’s obvious that even those without disabilities in the back are horribly slow at their job. I’ve been to GREAT Taco Bells. There are tons of TB employees who kick ass at their job. Unfortunately, none of them work at this location. You have been warned, and if you go, it’s your own fault for waiting a half hour for your order.

That last review inspired me. I stopped eating here around 1992. In the area I only frequent taco bell on ellseworth near walmart and the one on washtenaw near hewitt. Both are top notch. This one is so bad that after finding a hair in my bell on more than one occasion I just stopped going. My wife hasn’t figured this out yet and still goes here, but I never ever ever eat anything from this taco hell.

I give it two stars because its fucking Taco Bell. Sometimes you feel like a 7 layer burrito, and by god who’s going to stop you? Not Taco Bell, thats for damn sure. I have had enough Taco Bell to kill a prehistoric family of apes of some sort. None of it is memorable, but I award the stars for the fire sauce. Shit is pretty awesome on anything else you can think of that is not Taco Bell. Also, it’s good just by itself. Get yourself some fire sauce shooters and go to town.

Its hard to review a Taco Bell because we all know what we’re going to get there. So, what do you look at? Service, cleanliness, consistency? This place stands out as poorly maintained, dirty, and with staff who are worse than unhelpful. Really, it’s not so expensive to invest in a good manager and some training workshops for the staff — do it! When a customer complains that you gave them the wrong order, you’re supposed just correct it and apologize, not make them wait 15 minutes and then say, «no, that’s what you asked for, I know that’s what you ordered.»

Not to worry Taco Bell, I still harbor lots of love for you. You’ve filled my late nights with the wonderful«4th meal» when I needed it most. I do have to say that you’re really stretching our relationship with this new Cantina taco. Most TB food is what you expect for fast food Mexican American… and it leans very heavy to the American side. It’s greasy, it all tastes the same, but all in all it satisfies a craving. Not so with the Cantina taco. This was bland, it didn’t taste like it was from TB, and it was so far away from what I expected it to be. I couldn’t really tell if the shells were corn, flour, or a mixture of both. The really had not texture or flavor. It reminded me of paper that had been steamed for about 30 seconds. The chicken and pork were both TB bland and really have no unique taste. The onion and cilantro topping(which came pre-made in a large plastic bag) taste like it lost any of it’s flavor long ago. I don’t really know who did market research for Taco Bell on this one but they couldn’t have gone to any city that has a Mexican-American population. I’m a frequent purveyor of taco trucks here in Detroit. Most of the«cantina» style tacos from these trucks are delicious. Their seasonings and use of good corn tortillas, fresh onion and cilantro leave your stomach satisfied and your fingers with a lingering smell of warm corn, onion and lime, no matter how many times you wash them. Taco Bell«cantina» tacos left my fingers smelling like… my fingers and nothing more.

I stopped by here to pick up a quick dinner the other night. I originally thought the guy working the drive thru was new but now that I have read the other reviews I guess it’s just par for the course. I ordered a combo advertised on their menu… all I heard was silence for about a minute and then I was asked«uhh what number is that?, I can’t find it.» I explained it’s just an ad and he had to ask someone else where it was who told him he had already rung it up. He then asked what else I wanted and he couldn’t find that either. Once I was finally able to pull up to the window I handed him the dollar bills and then the change. He asked how much the change was… I could understand had I given him the total amount in change but it was 95 cents(three quarters and 2 dimes). Really, you had to ask how much that was? I was handed my food but not the drink. I had to go back in to get the drink as he was off doing something else and couldn’t multitask to open the window back up to see why I hadn’t driven away. Once I returned home I found the whole meal was soggy and I only live about 2 minutes away. Needless to say I will not go back to this Taco Bell.

This taco bell takes a year to get your food and order… Many a night i’ve waited in the drive thru line dreaming about my crunchwrap supreme combo and waking up the next morning to find it was almost ready being made…
