Enjoyed the meat/​cheese platter and tea! Great ambiance and I was extremely impressed by the price and quality of food. I will definitely be going back to check out more of the food and dessert selection!

Many students come here for homework too. The place is pretty cute, you can directly buy tea in bulk from here too. Tea cups and such they sell here are very cute. They have so many different options on tea, you’ll find something you like for sure.
My favorite dessert here is the Macron. It’s pretty big actually, and many flavors to choose from. Tea is great companion to it and make it doesn’t seem to be too sweet.
Great place to hang out with friends. I’d recommend this place.

Great tea but okay macarons. I’ll probably come back just for the tea. Highly recommend China rose to rose lovers.

Decided to come here on a lovely weekday afternoon to work on our laptops and enjoy some tea and small food. When you first walk in, there are two places to order — one for the food and one for the tea. We ordered the food first and got the English Quickie of course. For 10.25, you get to try some of almost everything that they offer! It’s pretty filling too so definitely good for two people to split.
You get to pick 3 different sandwiches and your choice of a dessert. We opted for the chicken salad sandwich, the peppered salami with herb butter, and the brie and fig on baguette. For dessert, we decided on the white chocolate lavender macaroon. Tables are adorable and have vibrant colored mats on them, making them perfect for those food Instagram photos! You tell the cashier which table you’re going to be at so they know where to bring the food out. Next, we went to order some tea. The options are endless and we didn’t even know where to start considering I’m no tea connoisseur. The lady was very patient with us and asked us if we prefer sweet, and then if we prefer fruity or not, etc. They take the box of tea leaves out for you and scoop up some for you to smell. It was hard to pick between any because all had a wonderful fragrant smell. We opted for the Japanese cherry tea.
Because we actually switched tables, the lady bringing out the food could not find us and brought it back inside so I had to go up to the counter to tell her where we were sitting. It took a while for the food to come out again but we were given a complimentary petite four (a rich chocolate brownie) so no complaints there. Overall, service was pretty good and everyone was patient with us.
My favorites are the chicken salad sandwich, the brie and fig baguette, the petite four and the lemon curd and clotted cream on the scone. The macaroon is bigger in size than most other generic ones and was pretty good though I’m not a huge fan of macaroons.

Stopped by for afternoon tea. It had just the right amount of hipness and coziness for a teahouse so anyone, from college students to older patrons can enjoy tea. The set up is a little different that the section you order tea is separate from the area you order scones, etc, but once you get the hang of it, it’s no problem at all. Tea was excellent. Scones were good. I think I will eat less lunch when I go here next time, because I was too full to finish what I got. Will definitely come back again.

I’ve been here twice and it’s always hoppin. It’s a quaint little place with a small menu but don’t let that deter you from trying it. When you walk in, there’s a whole wall of teas in metal canisters and the selection is tremendous. There’s definitely something for everyone. This is where you place your tea order to be brought to your table after it’s been brewed.
In a separate room, you place your order by reading the board with the delicious choices. We ordered the English Quickie which was your choice of any 3 sandwiches. They’re small finger sandwiches but very good! Then you also get a scone with 4 different spreads and your choice of their dessert selection~ petit fours, macaroons, cookies. I chose the petit four which was rich, chocolatey decadence.
While your food is being prepared, they bring you your tea that you ordered. Oh, they have iced teas as well.
The food and tea are the perfect amount without feeling stuffed as you do in other restaurants.
The staff is always friendly and helpful.
It’s highly deserving of a good recommendation and it’s something different to try. I only wish they had a bigger seating area because sometimes there isn’t enough and I saw potential customers leave due to that fact. We were fortunate to get a table although it was reserved for a party that was due in in about an hour. But it was just enough time to eat comfortably and leave so they could clean up for the people who reserved it.
If you enjoy tea and a light delicious meal, give this place a try.

I loved their tea here. I brought my parents, who are fairly picky with their tea, when they came over for the weekend and even they liked the tea too!
They also have snacks like macaroons, dips, soups, and more. I only tried the macaroons, and I didn’t like them that much. However I am so excited to go back and try their spinach and artichoke dip!
The ambiance is really nice and calming too! There aren’t a lot of tables though, so waiting for a table is a bit difficult when it’s full.
Overall I really like this place, and I will definitely come back again!

We love tea! And we love TeaHaus! Love that we could hang out here and enjoy tea and some home made desserts.
The place is really cute, and you can also buy tea by the bulk, which is actually cheaper than Teavana tea.
We tried the chili chocolate tea, which was surprisingly really delicious.
We also tried the strawberry chocolate truffle which was delicious!
Will be back!

If you like tea, this place is a must for having tea with friends. This place is about having the quintescential tea experience — finger sandwiches, scones and best of all french macaroons!
The tea selection is insane!

My college-​aged daughter and I went last Friday for the full English tea and it was so much fun and so delicious I would love to go there every week and try as many teas as possible! I guess the only thing holding me back is the cost. While not over the top, not inexpensive either. Definitely worth it, don’t get me wrong. Everything, everything was delicious and we couldn’t finish all the food. I was even inspired to bake my own scones but they paled in comparison to the ones there (can I have the recipe?). Everyone was really, really nice who worked there. Like, I’m surprised just how friendly and pleasant every employee was! I highly recommend the full English tea — delish! thank you for a great experience we will surely repeat!

My mom & I love to come here for a tea experience. We’re big on tea and finger sandwiches, and this place is great! The English quickie is delicious and my favorite, you get 3 finger sandwiches (all very gourmet kinds) and a scone with yummy sauces and jams to put on it. The scone is fluffy and wonderful.
The only downside to this place is that on sunday and monday they don’t offer the usual menu, they offer one that has way less options and not very good food. It’s disappointing, as I have walked in and been excited to order the english quickie on these days of the week and it is unavailable. I really don’t see why TeaHaus can’t just keep their normal menu up all the time, they’d make more money and have more satisfied customers.

Tea is always wonderful here and it might take a couple of minutes to be waited on but it’s worth it.
I’ve also sat next door for the full English tea service. Since I’ve only had it once I cant tell if our wait time was normal or not. Sat for 20 minutes waiting for the first course. I’ll try it again though as the food was worth the wait.
So lucky to have a non coffee shop option nearby.

I took my husband and parents here on a Saturday for lunch. I had no idea the seating area was so small, but luckily there was one table open when we walked in. The majority of us got the «English Quickie» which was just the right amount of food with the 3 sandwiches, scone, and macaroon. I got the cucumber, egg salad, and Brie with fig sandwiches. I liked the cucumber the best, but the Brie was a close second. I appreciate the vegetarian options. We also ordered tea on the other side where we narrowed down our options by smelling some different teas. I liked the caramel chai. The gingerbread macaroon was also very good. I guess they change the macaroon flavors once a month. Looking forward to going back!

How I love TeaHaus! This little gem has a wide and varied selection of teas that you can smell before you order, to make sure a flavor is to your liking. I’m a fan of the strawberries and crème tea, myself. They have something for everyone. The macaroons are made in house and are absolutely amazing! I finally decided to stray from my beloved macaroons and ordered scones– plain and fruity w/​chocolate chip– which came with the freshest clotted cream, marmalade, and jam. Divine!
My only complaint is that the workers were not particularly attentive last time I was here. we waited 20+ minutes for our tea and macaroons because the girls behind the counters forgot about us. It’s busy, I understand, but they still didn’t bring out our order until I reminded a different girl a second time.
You can also buy a cup of tea, hot or iced, to go. I make it a point to hit up TeaHaus whenever I’m back in Ann Arbor, it’s a must!

CUTE Semi-​sweet macaroons, set up, ambiance and décor. The wall of assorted teas could make any Teavana shop envious. My group of friends tried a curled Chinese green tea with jasmine (very similar to the dragon jasmine green pearl tea) and it had quite a bitter afterbite. I think I’ll stick to the pearls next time.
The staff will steep the tea for you, and if you purchase a «premium tea» you get a free pot refill. In my heart, I truly feel like a tea refill at a tea house should be free regardless of what kind of tea purchase you make, but I understand the space is small, seating is limited and it’s the nature of the business. A girl could only dream right?

So many tea options!
I’ve been to a couple of teashops around the USA, and so far, this is by far my favorite! They have an entire wall full of so many different kinds of teas imaginable! They source from several different locations, so there is so many different varieties (e.g., different kinds of green, various classic blacks, along with aromatic flavors, etc).
When you walk in, you can have them take out the canister of any flavor and have you smell, before ordering. You can either take one to go, or put in an order to sit down. Then you can walk around to the other side to sit and order some of their desserts or finger foods. The area is small, only a few tables, but very cute.
I really like their macarons here, nice crisp outside with a gooey center, and their are HUGE compared to other macarons that go for the same price elsewhere.
I love trying different flavors, a top fave is Strawberry Mint Lavender (that is black tea based), as well as a Pear Mango (that’s White tea based). You can’t go wrong with any flavors though.

TeaHaus: (n) an adorable locale where you can get some serious work done, enjoy a glorious abbreviated tea service with plenty o’ snacks (English Quickie) and, of course, sip on some delicious teas.
Annette J and I obviously share the love for this place, as it was *spot* on for a spot of tea. See what I did there? But really, I enjoyed just about every feature of TeaHaus. The English Quickie rings up for less than $ 11 but includes a selection of three sandwiches (I went with the cucumber, chicken salad, and fig and brie), plain scone, and dessert. The best part is that the scone (which was delicious!) comes with a four pack of toppings, like orange marmalade, raspberry jam, and my two very favorites — cream and lemon curd! Anyone who serves lemon curd with a scone is a-​ok by me. My coconut macaron was enjoyed later. Two thumbs up for that sweet treat!
Tea wise, I went with the decaf green coconut and it was a lovely, aromatic addition to my English Quickie. And again, talk about value, as a smalll pot of tea was less than $ 3. Score. Next time I find myself in Ann Arbor, you can be sure I’m going to stop by TeaHaus for another English Quickie!

So I get really really excited about the idea of a tea party. Unreasonably so? Perhaps. But Tea Haus offers so many tea party esque goodies the Mad Hatter would surely approve.
My friend and I split a passionfruit macaron, a vanilla macaron, and a chocolate chip orange scone with the «toppings». What are scone toppings you might ask (like I did)? Well one is a mixed fruit preserve, an orange marmalade, clotted cream, and a lemon custard. Had a huge 20 oz tea pot of the autumn spice (personally I don’t think they steep their tea long enough), and comes with sugar and your choice of dairy.
I hear they have your own tea party for $ 28, including unlimited tea, snacks, and desserts. Definitely will try sometime this year! (birthday?)

Stopped on here again for a late-​afternoon visit with my daughter.
The TeaHaus is a gem here in Kerrytown.
One side is a huge assortment of teas available to be brewed up by the glass or pot.
To the other side… A simple, yet elegant display of sweets including French Macaroons, tarts and cheesecake… and a handful of made to order sandwiches.
