I haven’t been to the store… Yet! But every year when I go to the Veg Fest at the Suburban Collection Show Place I always buy something from The Brinery. Beet Kvass, Sauerkraut, and Kimchi will all be put to good use this week. I’m going to trek out to Ann Arbor next weekend and visit them for sure! So flavorful and good for you and the environment!

For the Brinery, I need another star. I have been nothing but unrelentingly delighted by the products and the service. I no longer recall when and how I first came across the products, but I am a devoted Fermento and love love love what this place is doing. They go out of their way to make customers happy. Special thanks to Katie for sending me their Sriracha, after becoming quickly habituated when my sister brought me back a bottle from a visit to Ann Arbor. It isn’t sold outside of Ann Arbor, at least not in my neck of the woods, and is one of the finest I’ve ever tasted. I have had some of the krauts and kimchis shipped on one occasion, but I am fortunate that a good selection is stocked at Local in New Buffalo, MI. The quality and flavor of the krauts is beyond compare. The kimchis are wickedly awesome. I am a huge fan of the carrots, Jape Kin Cod. This place isn’t only as good as it gets, it’s far far better. Bravo, Fellow Fermentos. You are wizards and from the bottom of my pickle-y heart, I salute you !

When my fiancé brought home the daikon radish kimchee, I looked at the price tag and almost choked. HOWEVER, the kimchee was positively incredible and well-worth the additional cost(plus the added good-karma of supporting local business and agriculture). The Brinery also has a fantastic website, with tips on fermenting that we are looking forward to employing in our own kitchen. Thank you!

I love the tempeh from the Brinery. I tried to cook tempeh in the past and it was a complete fail. The taste and texture of the store bought tempeh was bad. When I went to the Farmers Market I saw that the Brinery had tempeh/adzuki tempeh. For $ 5, why not? I gave it a shot and let me tell you, it was yummy. The kimchi and pickles are awesome. I made kimchi fried rice and I’ll be going to use the pickle juice for some picklebacks as well. I can’t wait to try the Dyer garlic sauerkraut! I belong to the Dyer’s Garlic Friends CSA and their garlic is AMAZING! I know I won’t be disappointed. I just hope I don’t forget and miss out on it. I’ve been told that will be ready at the end of this month.

I LOVE pickled anything and my husband just surprised me with 4 of the Brinery’s wonderful products. I got Fair n’ By, Galaxy Rose, Root-31, and Stimulus Package. They all have incredible flavor and made in my home state. I am hooked! Can’t wait to try more of the products.

Best Hot Sauce EVER. I have tried items at Eastern Market, really liked the sauerkraut and relishes but absolutely LOVE the hot sauce. This should be on your list to try if you like hot sauce. I hope to try most of their products. Compared to other national brands in the store I am sure their products cost more, but man is the value there. Seriously, if you come across them selling their products, give it a shot and try some of them.

This stuff is the real deal. As someone who takes health and nutrition seriously and spends time searching for healthy alternatives — I can say that this is a fantastic product.
